After Logan and Patton had woken up from their long nap, Patton started to notice something. Every few minutes Logan would sniffle, and cough. He kept needing to get up and blow his nose. From where Patton was laying, leaning against his chest, he could hear his breathing, and noticed how shallow and irregular it seemed. He sounded sick.

"Logan, how are you feeling?" Patton asked, looking up at him in concern. Logan shrugged.

"I'm fine," he brushed off the question easily, and Patton gave him a look. "Okay, fine. I feel a little tired, and I may have a cold, but it's nothing to worry about. I will live."

"Logan! If you got sick because you're not taking care of yourself then that's really bad. You need to be more careful." Patton frowned, sitting up and looking over at his boyfriend. Logan frowned too.

"I told you, I will be fine. It is only a small cold. It will be gone in no time, don't worry." Logan tried to reassure him, but Patton couldn't help but worry over him.

"I am worried! I don't want you to feel bad, Logan. I want you to be safe and healthy, it's important to take care of yourself. I swear, I will stay over here until you're completely better if I have to. I know you, and I know that as soon as I leave to go back home you'll ignore the fact that you're sick and get lost in your work again!" Patton went off on him, knowing that he was probably overreacting to a simple cold, but not really caring. He just wanted Logan to be safe.

"You're... probably right." Logan admitted. "If you want to stay with me until I'm better, I definitely wouldn't say no." He shrugged.

Patton smiled, shaking his head at Logan. "Guess I'll have to then. Someone gotta be sure you're taking good care of yourself."

He got out of bed, Logan watching him as he left the room, wondering where he was going. He came back a few minutes later with a cup of water and some cold medicine. "Here, take this." He handed it to him, Logan doing as he was told. "Is there anything else you need?"

"An amazing and thoughtful boyfriend to lay down with me while I take another nap?" Logan opened up his arms, looking up at Patton expectantly. Patton shook his head again, still smiling, climbing back into bed with him and wrapping his arms around him.

"Okay. If you need anything else, just say so okay?" Patton insisted, kissing his forehead. Logan nodded, holding him close and hiding his face in his shoulder.

"Okay. Thank you, Patton. I love you." He mumbled, smiling and closing his eyes tiredly.

"I love you too." Patton smiled.

I may or may not have made myself sick by forgetting to take care of myself. And I may or may not have made myself feel worse by binding even tho my chest hurt and I had trouble breathing.

I dunno what I was thinking. I'm really stupid sometimes. I wish I had someone like in this story who'd take care of me even tho it's my own stupid fault I'm sick right now.

At least the good news is, I get to lay down and not talk and get out of schoolwork for today. Maybe. I dunno if they still expect me to get it done or not, but for now I'm just laying down and I might take a nap cause I feel really sleepy.

I'm a little obsessed with space currently. Aliens are cool okay? I mean. I have been since I wrote that oneshot called Alien Abduction. I just think they're cool.
