Secret's Out (Anxiety x Logic)

Requested. In the thing at the end I'll explain the deal with rude comments, just, to clear some things up. I swear guys it's fine, chill out

Logan and Virgil had been dating in secret for a while now. They had kept it from the others at first because they themselves weren't very sure how it would all play out, and at this point it didn't really matter to them if anyone found out or not. Neither of them were very fond of being affectionate in front of the others, and the subject was never brought up. They didn't mind, and they knew if anyone ever did find out they most likely wouldn't care either.

The two of them were sitting together in Logan's room, sitting in bed and holding each other close. Virgil was laying on top of Logan, arms wrapped around him and face hidden in his shoulder. Logan had one arm wrapped loosely around his waist, his other hand tracing shapes on his back, both of them enjoying the calming quiet that surrounded them.

That is, until the two of them were being summoned, forced to appear in Thomas' living room. They were in Logan's usual spot, still held close together, and at first Virgil didn't even know anything had happened as he was still hiding his face in Logan's shoulder. Logan did though, and he wasn't entirely sure how he should react to the situation.

Virgil finally realized something was happening when a deafening squeal reached his ears, the sound coming from the bubbly, cardigan wearing trait known as Patton. He finally looked up, looking around to find everyone was staring at the two of them. He froze up, pulling his hood over his head and once again hiding his very red face from them. Logan took a hold of his hand, trying to comfort him, and looked up at the other three.

"Was there something you needed from us?" Logan questioned, not saying anything about their current situation in the hopes no one else would say anything. This didn't work out as intended.

"Yes, but I think there's something way more interesting we could be talking about now." Roman said, looking at the two of them with a raised brow. "What exactly were you two doing?"

"Is that not obvious? We are sitting right in front of you, cuddling. I believe you can guess the answer to your own question." Logan remarked, and Virgil stifled a laugh. Roman frowned, not saying anything in reply.

"How long have you been dating?" Patton rushed out, jumping up and down in his place, wide grin on his face.

"For a while now." Logan shrugged.

"Why'd you keep it hidden?" Thomas spoke up this time, and Logan shrugged his shoulders.

"At first we weren't sure what would happen, and then eventually we just... didn't think it was something important to bring up." He explained. "It wasn't necessarily a secret. Really though, what did you call us here for?"

"Also I hope you don't expect me to go back to my spot, because I'm comfortable and it's not happening." Virgil spoke up finally, moving his head from Logan's shoulder only long enough to be heard. The others just laughed and shrugged, not really minding that the two of them were sitting together.

They finally got back into what was originally being discussed, Logan and Virgil adding their input every time it was needed, all while holding each other close sitting on the floor.

Their secret was out, but no one seemed to mind.

This was really cute and fun to write, I think I did it pretty well but let me know what you guys think.

Okay. Now. About the rude comments previously mentioned.

First thing I'll mention though. I am fine okay? Like seriously, I don't let it get to me. Last oneshot I wrote I was just in general being grumpy cause I was tired and just-I was in a bad mood, otherwise I wouldn't have said anything haha.

Also. I said it because often when I share my thoughts like the ones in that chapter I get shot down and people try and pick them apart and ruin them for me. That's mostly what I was referring to.

And yes. Every once in a while I will get rude comments, or just in general people who feel the need to put me down.

If you see someone in the comments acting this way, do not say anything. If you try and talk to them, or fight them or whatever, all you're doing is giving them what they want. If you want to help out, that's awesome and I appreciate it, but the best way to do that is to report the person and their comment and leave it be. If I see someone being rude, I delete their comment and block them, so it doesn't happen again. And y'know what? I've been doing this ever since I joined wattpad, and I haven't had any drama going on in 3 whole years. (As long as we're not counting fights with old friends that happened unfortunately often-but those were never things I made public. If someone had a problem with me, they better talk to me privately or all that's gonna happen is I'm going to delete whatever you said.) that's the best way to deal with hate-if you say something back, it only gets worse and worse.

Again, I don't really let it get to me. Usually it doesn't upset me, it just makes me mad that they do that and that they've probably hurt someone else. It makes me angry, but not upset.

But again, if you see hate-not just on my account, but any other writer you like-don't reply, report it, and another amazing thing you can do, just leave support for the person receiving the hate. Tell them you think their writing/drawing/anything else is great, and don't even mention the hate comments. Giving them encouraging words helps a ton, seriously. Hopefully they'll be able to ignore the bad and focus on the good.

And something else super important like, don't just say "ignore them, your thing is great!" Actually give a reason. "Your thing is awesome because this, this, and this." Then you're showing that you really pay attention to it, and you'll show them that you're not just saying it to make them feel better, which I'm sure happens often.

I will say also that I seriously appreciate all of you from the last oneshot defending me and offering to fight anyone rude to me, haha. Thank you guys, it means a lot. Just know that it doesn't happen to me often, and when it does I don't let it affect me because even when I get one rude comment I get like, ten more positive ones. I can take care of myself, promise. (Speaking of taking care of myself I need to get out of bed and shower and eat it's already 2 whoops)

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this oneshot. *sloth very slowly unwraps a ring pop and then hugs you*

Sloths are great. Animals in general are great. You know what else is pretty great? You. You're pretty great. And me. I'm awesome. But mostly you. Take care of yourself! Bye!-Bob
