Virgil had barely gotten any sleep that night, and it was obvious. He looked awful; the bags under his eyes looked worse than usual, he kept yawning every few minutes, and every time he got up to walk he stumbled around everywhere.

"You okay there, kiddo?" Patton sounded concerned. Virgil had just walked into the living room and so far he had already hit a couple of walls and nearly tripped over his own feet. Virgil yawned and nodded.

"Yeah, I'm-" another yawn cut him off. "I'm fine. A little sleepy." He shrugged, abruptly falling into the seat next to Patton. Patton laughed.

"You look more than just a little sleepy." He commented, smiling over at Virgil, who simply waved him off.

"'M fine," he muttered. "Don't worry."

"Alright." Patton shrugged, and watched as Virgil tried to concentrate on the tv in front of them. He would watch for a few minutes, and then his eyes would slowly start to shut. His head started to fall down as he nodded off, before he would realize he was falling asleep and jerk his head back up. At one point Virgil had slumped over against Patton, leaning on him and still trying to keep himself awake.

Patton giggled, pressing a kiss to Virgil's cheek and wrapping his arms around him in a hug. Virgil groaned. "I'm awake, I swear."

"You need to get some sleep, Verge. You'll make yourself sick this way, so can you please get some rest? For me?" Patton brushed Virgil's hair from his face, running his hands through it. Virgil sighed and leaned into him, closing his eyes.

"I guess," he mumbled, yawning once again. He wrapped his own arms around Patton, hiding his face in his shoulder. "Only cause you asked me, though."

"Right," Patton whispered, nodding his head. "It has nothing to do with the fact that you're too exhausted to even sit up straight."

"Nothing about is, so I don't know why you'd expect me to sit that way." Virgil joked, and Patton laughed.

"Get some sleep, Virgil." Patton kissed his forehead, Virgil nodding and closing his eyes. It didn't take long for him to drift off, Patton smiled contently.

"Love you, Virgil."

Lmao I didn't get much sleep last night and I'm trying to get through the day without taking a nap so that I'll be able to sleep early tonight, but I'm starting to like, drift off and let my head slowly fall to the side and man it's so hard I'm so sleepy

I'm still convinced I can make it through the day tho so I'm not gonna sleep yet. Plus I still need to help my grandpa out, we're over at their house and he just got out of the hospital so I've been doing everything he asks me to and I'm helping look through his boon for mistakes. He said he'll pay me for it and I hate that cause like, grandpa no just let me help I don't want anything
