Once again can be seen as romantic or platonic. When I originally wrote this I kinda wanted to make another part like this for a happier ending, but at that moment in time it explained how I felt, and I just wasn't up to it. So warning, this is still sad, be careful.

Maybe Roman had loved him, at some point in time.

But now no one did.

Virgil had been locked away in his room for days. No one had seen him leave, even just to get something to eat. Patton was worried, and decided to go check on him. (Vaughn just decided that because I'm laying on my back on the couch now was the perfect time to jump onto my stomach, ow)

He asked Virgil if he could come in, but he didn't get a response. He asked again, and this time when he didn't hear anything he got worried. What if something had happened to him? Patton rushed inside, hoping to find Virgil uninjured. He found him curled up on his bed, crying and shaking.

Patton rushed over to Virgil's side, touching his shoulder and asking him what was wrong. Virgil just shook his head, quietly mumbling. "L-leave me alone.."

"Virgil, I'm not leaving. I care about you, and I want you to be okay." He paused for a minute, thinking. "Is this.. because of what happened? With Roman?"

"I-" Virgil started to object, but he couldn't get any words out. He was crying too hard. He just nodded.

Patton sighed, frowning as he wrapped his arms around Virgil, pulling him up into a hug and holding him tightly. He rubbed his back comfortingly as Virgil hid his face in his chest, tightly gripping onto the back of his shirt as he cried. He whispered comforting things to him in the hopes of helping him to feel better.

"Shh, it'll be okay, you'll be okay," he told him, hoping he believed it. "I know you can get through this. I'm here for you."

"How come everyone I love ends up hurting me...?" Virgil mumbled, so quietly that Patton barely heard it. "Every time... I don't feel like I can trust anyone anymore... it's not fair."

"You're right," Patton agreed, continuing to rub his back and pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "It's not fair. But you have plenty of people who love you, who would never ever even dream of hurting you. People who are gonna be there for you any time you need it, to help you when you've been hurt." Patton assured him, sounding slightly upset himself.

"Being hurt isn't any fun, but there are people who understand and are willing to help you get through it. I'm here for you, Virgil. I'll be here with you any time you need it." Patton finished, hugging him close.

Virgil thought about what he said. He wasn't sure if he believed him or not, wasn't sure if he could trust him. He didn't want to end up hurt again.

He didn't want to be alone through this either, though. He admitted that he needed help. Could Patton be trusted or not, he didn't know, but he decided that he would give him a chance.

He just wanted to be happy again.

Whoops I'm pouring my feelings out in my writing again ahaha

But seriously tho...... why must people hurt me I don't think I've done anything to deserve some of the horrible shit I've gone through. What did I do to make the universe hate me so much?

I can't say my entire life's been awful. I can't say I have had the worst, because obviously I haven't. But I have had so much shit happen to me that I can barely make any friends without wondering when they're gonna leave me. It... sucks. And if I'm worried about having friends, oh boy can you imagine what it's like for me thinking about being in a relationship-I can't go through being hurt like that again. That... that fucking sucked.

Before I vent any longer in here I'm just gonna. Try and get some sleep. Today has actually been a very good day for me, so instead of overthinking these things I'm just gonna think about what(origuesswho) made today great.
