(Logic x Morality)
Logan and Patton acted like an old married couple all the time. Constantly doing things together and acting sweet, and somehow they still weren't together yet. Roman and Anxiety were tired of it.
The two, although they rarely got along, both agreed that it was tiring watching the two, and decided to do something about it. What they would do, they hadn't quite figured out yet, but they knew something had to be done. They put aside their differences and started working on a plan.

Logan was cooking breakfast that morning. He had noticed that Patton was too tired to wake up from his alarm, and decided it would be nice to make everyone food, so the sleepy parent wouldn't have to. He had even considered bringing Patton his breakfast in bed. As he was considering whether eating in bed was sanitary or not, he was startled by arms wrapping around him, a head resting on his shoulder.
"What are you doing?" Patton questioned, still sounding tired, frowning. "You didn't need to do that... I was gonna get up..." He yawned, and Logan just shrugged.
"You were tired, and I thought you'd appreciate a break." He glanced back at Patton. "If you're still tired, you can go back to bed. I'll bring you something."
"I'm fine Logan! Really, there's no need for that. Do you need help with anything in here?" He stepped away from Logan, who found that he missed Patton's closeness. He shook his head, letting him know he was just finishing up.
Roman and Anxiety had been watching the entire time, and wondered how the two of them weren't together yet, when stuff like this was an everyday occurrence. They watched the pair as Patton helped Logan set things out on plates for the rest of them, blushes on their cheeks every time they accidentally touched the other, or when they made eye contact a moment too long. Anxiety rolled his eyes, stepping into the kitchen where they could see him.
"Are you two lovebirds ever going to just, get together? Kiss already, we've been waiting forever." He grumbled, taking a seat at the table while the other three gaped at him. Patton was blushing bright red, Logan unable to look away from his shoes. Roman chuckled awkwardly, stepping into the room as well.
"While I'd probably never put it as bluntly as he just did, I must agree. You are very obvious with your feelings for each other, and we both want you to be together. We believe you would both be happier that way." He smiled at them, although Logan still wouldn't look up and Patton found it difficult to maintain eye contact with anyone. After a while, the two shared a glance.
"I don't think that's the case, kiddos." Patton frowned, looking away from Logan and back at Anxiety and Roman. "Logan's made his thoughts on emotions pretty clear, I think."
"And why should Patton like me anyways? That's just... illogical." Logan frowned as well, still looking at Patton.
"Listen to yourselves guys," Anxiety shook his head. "You both say you doubt the other would like you, but neither of you denied it. Don't you think your first thought to someone saying you like someone when you really don't is to deny it?"
Both of them thought about it for a minute, until finally Patton turned to Logan, the other looking back.
"Well... Do you?" Patton asked. "L-Like me?"
"That... depends." Logan cleared his throat, pausing. He didn't want to continue, but decided to face his fear of rejection anyways. "On whether you like me..."
"And..." Patton breathed, taking a step closer to Logan. "If I say that I do?"
"Then... I would probably say yes." Logan took a step forward as well. "That I do, like you, and I'd hope that... Even though I'm still bad at understanding these feelings... You'd still like me anyways."
"Of course I'd love you anyways." Patton whispered, smiling at Logan. His face still burned a bright red color. He slowly reached a hand up to rest on Logan's cheek. "You make me very happy, Logan..."
"I love you, Patton." Logan's voice shook as he spoke, the words were unfamiliar for him. "May I... kiss you?"
"I love you too," Patton leaned closer. "And yes, you can." At last Logan leaned forward the rest of the way, connecting their lips in a short and sweet kiss.
Once the two parted they heard clapping, turning to find Roman smiling at them. He nudged Anxiety, the other waving his arm and giving a sarcastic cheer.
"It's about darn time." He couldn't hide the smile on his lips. He really was happy for the two. "Can we eat now?"
Patton chuckled and nodded, bringing Anxiety his plate. The tired and hungry trait gave his thanks and congratulations, before ignoring everyone to focus on eating. Soon everyone else had sat at the table, talking and laughing.
After breakfast, when Roman volunteered himself and Anxiety to clean up and Logan and Patton had gone off somewhere else in the house, Roman tried to strike up a conversation with him.
"Glad they're finally together now." He smiled, and Anxiety shrugged.
"Yeah. We don't have to watch them feeling sad every time they hang out with each other. Instead we have to watch their constant flirting, how fun for us." He huffed, and Roman frowned.
"I know you're happy for them, no need to hide it Anxiety." He shook his head at the other, then sighed and chewed his lip nervously.
"Bit lonely, though, isn't it?" Roman asked, making Anxiety look at him.
"What do you mean?" He asked, and Roman glanced away, chuckling awkwardly.
"Well, they're the only couple here, and there's just the two of us left... Don't you wish you had someone like that?" He glanced over at Anxiety out of the corner of his eye as he awaited his reply, cheeks burning.
"What exactly are you suggesting?" Anxiety stopped what he was doing to look over at Roman.
"Nothing!" The prince shrieked, pretending to be busy washing a plate. "I was just asking a question, but you know, it wasn't important. Why don't you go do your own thing, I'll finish this."
"Okay..." Anxiety blinked at him, frowning. "You have fun with that." He turned and left the kitchen, Roman sighing. In relief, or disappointment, he wasn't sure. Mentally beating himself up for saying anything, he continued cleaning up.
He was still very happy for Logan and Patton.
aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh it feels like it's been forever I swear. But hey, finally home again! Less insane, feeling happy and me again. Yay!
Of course, when I get back from dealing with family for a week I want nothing more than a break from all social interaction because I feel exhausted after that, but I just found out a little while ago I have to wake up early tomorrow to go finish the driving part of my drivers ed class. How fun. I get to sit in a car with a stranger for hours while he silently judges every mistake I make. I'm very obviously anxious about this, I'm trying not to freak out cause I'm sure he's nice and I'm sure I'll do okay but I just-I hate meeting new people I'm terrified.
Also! Random question for you guys, how old are you? I'm curious, if people that read this are older or younger than me. I'm 15, which is why I'm taking drivers ed lol. I kinda can't wait to drive, also kinda scared out of my mind because I know once I'm able to drive I'll have to go to places by myself and all I can say about that is thank god for self check out.
I hate social anxiety
Before I have my second panic attack of the night, I'm going to head to bed. It is midnight, and I gotta wake up early so. Anyways, I'll try my best to work on requests when I have time to, though I think this driving stuff is gonna make me a little too mentally exhausted to work on much. Thanks for reading. *sends a toy car with a ring pop on it* Bye!-Bob
