Requested. I'm not specific about what instrument he's playing cause like idk I just couldn't pick one I guess. I've been trying to sleep since I last updated 4 hours ago but I can't so here I am

Virgil didn't think anyone in the mind could hear him. He had at least hoped not. It wasn't as though there was anything to be embarrassed about, he wasn't too bad at playing, but he still didn't want anyone to know.

Unfortunately, he was louder than he thought he was. Unbeknownst to him, Roman had entered his room a while ago and had stopped to listen to him playing. He didn't say anything, and after a few moments he disappeared, only to return with Logan and Patton, so they too could hear. The three listened on in a stunned silence, watching until he finally stopped.

Virgil sighed and turned around, freezing in place as he saw the three of them watching him. After a second passed in awkward silence Patton started clapping, then Roman, him being begrudgingly followed by Logan as Patton shot him a look. Patton smiled and walked over to Virgil to hug him. "That was amazing, son!"

"I'm not your son... It was nothing special." Virgil shrugged.

"Nothing special? That was spectacular!" Roman grinned, stepping closer to the two of them and putting a hand on Virgil's back. "When did you learn how to play that?"

Virgil shrugged. "A while ago..." He mumbled.

"I must admit, that was rather impressive, Virgil." Logan nodded in agreement, smiling as well.

Virgil tried to hide a smile by hiding his face hugging Patton back, but everyone noticed it. Roman awed and joined in on the hug, looking up at Logan expectantly causing him to join in too.

"Thanks, guys." Virgil mumbled, smiling widely at the ground. Maybe there had been no reason to hide it after all.

Sorry everything I've written seems to be so short lately. That must be annoying, I'll try to write longer things. But like please if you request something be super specific if you want it to be longer, like, if you give me something simple I might not know where to go with it. I did like this request, though! It was very cute.

I'm having one of those nights where like, I keep turning over and over and I just can't seem to get comfortable and my thoughts are running wild. I made myself sad, that's why I decided to distract myself writing this real quick. Anyways, hope you guys are able to sleep better than me haha. I'm considering going downstairs to get a drink cause I'm like, dying right now but gosh it's dark and scary down there idk if I can make it.
