Ignored (Logic x Anxiety x Morality x Prince)
It had happened a lot lately.
Anxiety would try and add something to the conversation the other three were having, and while he talked someone else would start to talk over him. Either that or the conversation would end just as he started talking, and they would move on to something else. He would trail off on whatever he was saying, and no one would even notice.
He got so tired of it that he just stopped saying anything at all.
He expected that once again no one would say a word about it, and he was right. For almost the entire day not a word was said to him, and he didn't try and talk anyways. He avoided hanging out with them, staying in his room for most of the day, until they forced him to go and watch a movie with them.
He had made it clear he didn't want to go-the only thing he had said all day-and that's when the three of them finally seemed concerned. Patton was the first to ask him if he was okay. Anxiety only shrugged in reply, and walked past him to where they were going to watch the movie.
The other three had shared a worried look, and soon followed after. They all sat on the couch together to watch the movie, and noticed how distant Anxiety seemed the whole time. He didn't really even pay much attention to the movie playing, instead focused on messing with his hoodie sleeves. The moment the movie had gone off he was trying to stand up, but a hand holding onto his arm kept him from leaving. He looked back and found it was Patton holding him, looking up at him worriedly.
"Hey," he spoke softly, his concern evident in his voice. "What's wrong? We're all worried about you. You haven't been talking much..."
"Yeah," Roman joined in. "We'd all like to know if there's something bothering you. We want you to feel alright, Anxiety."
Anxiety sighed and turned to face all three of them, opening his mouth to talk, and then pausing. He wasn't sure how to explain, he felt bad, but he didn't want to make them feel guilty. He knew they probably hadn't ignored him on purpose.
Probably.
"I don't know." He sighed. "I just... don't feel like talking." He shrugged, and tried to turn away again, when he was once again stopped by a hand on his shoulder. Logan, this time.
"Anxiety," he began, frown on his face. "There's something obviously bothering you. Please let us know what it is, so that we may help you. We all care very much about you, you know we do."
"Of course!" Patton smiled slightly at him. "We all love you, so much."
Anxiety hesitated once again, but realized that they weren't going to stop asking him until he gave an answer. They loved him too much to not do anything when he was upset. "Well.... it just seemed like any time that I tried to talk... you all ignored me. I'd get talked over, or the subject would be changed completely. So I just... didn't bother saying anything."
He shrugged and stared at the floor, while Logan, Patton, and Roman all shared the same guilty look.
"Oh, Anxiety," Patton pulled him into a hug, holding him tightly and kissing his cheek. "We are so sorry! We never meant to do that, please don't feel like you can't talk to us."
Roman was quick to join in the hug as well, wrapping his arms around the both of them. "I am sorry as well." He apologized. "I should have noticed! You should never have to feel left out."
Anxiety sighed again, giving the smallest of smiles and returning their hug, hiding his face in Patton's chest. "Thank you," he murmured.
Logan stepped up last, at first just putting his hand on Anxiety's shoulder. When Patton gave him a look, he slowly and awkwardly wrapped his arms around Anxiety, and smiled. "I also apologize. I hope you remember that we all love you, and would never intend to ignore or hurt you in any way."
"I know," Anxiety smiled over at him, and leaned to kiss him on the cheek, which soon turned red, causing the rest of them to chuckle.
Logan shook his head at them, smile growing. All four of them had smiles on their faces, and when Patton suggested that they go lie down and cuddle everyone was quick to agree. So, they walked back to lay in bed, Anxiety in the middle so that they all could hug him, Logan and Patton next to him, and Roman beside of Patton, reaching over him to hold Anxiety's hand.
They all shared I love you's, cuddling close together with smiles on their lips. It didn't take long sitting together in a comfortable silence, surrounded by the ones that they loved for all of them to drift into a peaceful sleep for the night.
