Roman was freezing.

He, along with Anxiety, were sitting outside in the rain. They were under a roof, to avoid getting wet, but they were not, unfortunately, protected from the wind. Anxiety was more protected than he was, as Roman hadn't been expecting the rain, and Anxiety just always had his hoodie on. His outfit did nothing against the cold.

Anxiety had taken notice of his boyfriend's shivering, and frowned. He was warm in his hoodie, and he knew Roman was only sitting out in the rain for him. He sighed, hesitantly pulling his hoodie up over his head, showing his black t-shirt underneath, and handing it to Roman.

"Won't you be cold?" He asked worriedly, and Anxiety just shrugged

"I'll live. You're colder than I am." He pointed out, and while Roman still looked worried he was too cold to refuse. He pulled the hoodie on, smiling as he relaxed into it. It was really warm. He kissed Anxiety on the cheek in thanks, the other rolling his eyes, a smile on his lips.

They sat there for a while, Anxiety closing his eyes to listen to the rain as it poured down, Roman just watching Anxiety with a grin. He looked so perfect, Roman thought.

Then he noticed Anxiety shivering. Frowning, Roman wondered if they should go inside soon to avoid becoming Popsicles, when an idea came to mind. Smirking, he moved closer to Anxiety, wrapping his arms around him as he sat down in his lap.

"Roman, what are you doing?" Anxiety questioned, and Roman shrugged.

"You looked cold." Was all he said, grabbing Anxiety's hands and resting them on his chest, his arms going around him again as he leaned forward and kissed him. Anxiety sighed through his nose, happily returning the kiss and leaning into Roman's warmth.

"I love you." Roman whispered as he pulled back.

"I love you too." Anxiety smiled, pulling him back down for another kiss.

Honestly, that's the best compliment I've ever received. I've... been through a ton and I've just recently gotten better and have actually been happy, and it was just really nice someone said that. It made me feel so... confident I guess. Just-I'm just really happy and really sappy okay?
