Glasses (No ship)

Requested.

Virgil had woke up that morning still dressed in his usual clothes. He guessed he had forgotten to change the previous night, and didn't think much of it as he headed to the kitchen for breakfast. He heard everyone else in there as well, and once again didn't think too much about it as he got his food.

When he turned around however, he found them all staring at him. They seemed confused. With everyone's eyes on him, Virgil immediately began to feel anxious. "What?" He snapped, frowning.

"I never knew you wore glasses, kiddo!" Patton spoke first, smiling widely at Virgil. Virgil froze.

Glasses? Right, he had put them on instead of his contacts last night. He must have slept in them-and now everyone knew he had them. His cheeks burned in embarrassment as Patton cooed at him, Logan examining him as Roman snickered.

"You look like a nerd too." He teased, and Patton frowned at him.

"Well that's not very nice." He chastised, and Roman simply shrugged.

"It's true." He muttered, and Virgil stuck his tongue out at him in reply.

"You're all very childish, we know. Anyways, why were you hiding that you wore glasses from us?" Logan questioned him, and Virgil shrugged.

"I dunno. I was embarrassed. Didn't want to be called a nerd." He glared at Roman, who frowned.

"Fine, I'm sorry. Are you happy now?"

"Not exactly, but I'll accept your unexpected apology anyways." Virgil shrugged. "Can you all stop staring at me now?"

"Sorry kiddo, we're just not used to seeing you wear them!" Patton explained, smiling apologetically. Virgil smiled back at him.

"It's fine, dad." He assured him, finally moving to sit at the table so we could enjoy his food. The other three soon followed, sitting around him and talking to him. Roman, who was sitting beside Virgil, nudged him to get his attention.

"Y'know," he started, shrugging. Virgil noticed a blush on his cheeks. "You should wear glasses more often. They don't look too bad on you."

"Right," Virgil laughed at him. "Give you more reason to make fun of me."

"I meant it." Roman insisted, frowning. "You look good. Sorry I teased you at first."

Virgil was confused as to why he was being so nice right now, but he could tell he was being genuine. Virgil smiled.

"Okay. Maybe I will wear them more."

Sorry this was so short! I hope it was alright anyways-also I love this idea a lot. It's cute.

Can I just- ahhhh there's so many really cool people out there who seem really sweet and nice and awesome and I just wish I weren't so anxious and awkward all the time so I could talk to people. Like I want friends but I'm too scared to go and actually make them all my friends I've ever had have always approached me first and I really wish I were more confident and cool

But nah I'm just this awkward nerd

People are so great tho. A lot of people are also very attractive like what how what is this how do people look so good

God I'm so lonely. I just want more friends and also I would love a significant other but talking is so difficult. I don't even know what I'm talking about right now I've been so anxious lately I can barely even think about how talking to a new person might go. That sounds like a disaster.

But really tho I'm just so curious how other people see me. Like, if I was someone else how would I view me? Would I think I was funny or cool? I dunno. It's just so weird to think about how like, what you think of this one person someone might think about you too, it's all so weird and cool to me and

*sigh* I dunno what I'm talking about, I'm really sleepy and I think I'm gonna get some sleep for a little while.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed it ^•^ *fires a magic gun that shoots ring pops*

Take care of yourselves. Remember, someone thinks you're awesome! I definitely do. ^•^ Bye!-Bob
