Doubts

"I am a horrible person." Anxiety mumbled, staring up at the ceiling, sprawled out across his bed.

"You're a wonderful person, dear." Prince replied quickly, sat on the bed next to him. He was nearly falling off with Anxiety taking up all the room.

"I do nothing but cause trouble." He groaned, an arm coming up to cover his face. Prince took a hold of his hand, pulling it away from his face so he could look at him.

"You can definitely cause some trouble occasionally, but there's more to you than that." He smiled at Anxiety, who opened one eye to look at him.

"Nobody loves me." He knew he sounded silly. Prince was right there with him, but when he voiced his insecurities aloud Prince always reassured him they were just thoughts he had come up with, and weren't true. He needed that sometimes.

"Now that is just the complete opposite of true. We all care about you, Logic and Morality. None as much as me, of course." Prince leaned closer to Anxiety, brushing his hair out of his face and kissing his forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too." Anxiety muttered quietly, looking away from Prince with a small smile on his lips. Prince grinned widely as he leaned down and planted a kiss on them. It lasted a while, a sweet and simple kiss, before Prince pulled back to lay down with Anxiety, pulling him close in his arms.

"Don't ever forget how much I care for you, Anxiety." Prince whispered. Anxiety moved so his head was on Prince's chest, listening to his heartbeat.

"Okay." He whispered. "I won't."
