Anxiety Attack (Prince x Anxiety)
Kinda sad. Needed to vent and decided to write 😌 I'll try to keep the rest of my stuff happy, I promise!
He couldn't breathe.
The world around him was a blur, he could barely hear Morality trying to talk to him; thoughts were swarming in his head far too quickly. He wanted to cry. He tried not to, he did, but soon the tears were falling fast down his cheeks. His chest ached.
"Anxiety.." he heard Morality faintly, felt him touch his shoulder. He flinched, but didn't move away. "Anxiety, calm down."
"I can't!" Anxiety sobbed, shaking his head, hands coming up to tug at his hair. "I can't just calm down!"
"That's silly Anxiety, of course you ca-" Morality was caught off as Anxiety yanked himself away.
"I can't! I can't do it, I can't do anything right! I know I'm being stupid, but I can't calm down!" He snapped. "I can't." Another sob.
Morality winced, he hated when others were upset, and he wished Anxiety would let him help. While he knew Anxiety would likely not calm down with his help, he knew who could help him.
Morality gave Prince a look-he had been across the room, looking on worriedly-silently asking him to take over. Prince nodded, and Morality stepped away from Anxiety as Prince approached.
Prince reached forward to gently grab ahold of Anxiety's hand, guiding him over to the couch and sitting down with him. "Hey.." He whispered. "I know it's not easy, and you don't think you can calm down, but I want you to at least try and breathe, okay?" He spoke soothingly, one hand still holding Anxiety's, and the other sliding through his hair in hopes of calming the other male.
Anxiety didn't look at Prince, or give any indication he knew he was there at first. Then, his breathing began to slow. He took a deep breath, and shakily let it out again. He repeated this, until his breathing was steady, and although tears did still fall from his eyes, he was looking better. Calmer.
"Keep breathing, Anx. You're doing good." Prince assured, his hand stopped running through Anxiety's hair, and wiped the tears away from his eyes. After a few minutes, his tears stopped too.
As Anxiety began to calm down, he suddenly realized how exhausted he felt. Attacks took a lot out of him, and he found himself leaning into Prince's touch, his head resting on the royal's chest. Prince said nothing as the other's eyes shut, and his breathing changed once more. He knew Anxiety had fallen asleep, but he was perfectly content being his pillow.
Anxiety attacks are so tiring ohmygosh
I think I'm actually gonna get some sleep for once after posting this, so I guess thats good 👍🏻
Hope you enjoyed this. Thank you so much for reading. (Also don't worry I have more cute lighthearted ones for both prinxiety and logicality in my drafts) Bye!-Bob
