First chapter is out

I'm starting a new story about the sides. It's going to be called Regarding the Spider, and I'm trying a new style, which is similar to the style of Lemony Snicket.

If you don't know his style, it's like, he'll have the story in third person, but will break the fourth wall to explain something, or to add details into the story that he didn't already include. I love the style, and am going to try it out in this story.

Here's a small sample of the beginning of the first chapter

The “Dark Sides” didn't think much of him when he first formed. The only strange thing about him was that he was the fourth one of them. “But,” they thought, “maybe he will give us an advantage against the 'Light Sides’ in the future.” The new side introduced himself as Apathy, but he asked to be called Cecil. The other three were shocked, he gave them his name with on hesitation. They still don't know Anxiety's name for goodness sake! When they asked him why he was so willing to tell them his name, when he barely knew them he laughed. He said that he didn't care if they knew his name or not, that it really wasn't a big deal. So, three became four and all was well.

But it wasn't for long.

Anxiety was the first to suspect something. But, the other two waved it aside. “You're Anxiety,” they said, “it's your job to worry. Cecil is ok. Don't think too much into it.” And for awhile, Anxiety dropped it.

But when Thomas turned 20, that's when he started to suspect Cecil again. But this time, Cecil knew that Anxiety was suspicious. He confronted Anxiety, he snuck into his room in the dead of night, and that my dear reader, is where the story truly begins.
