Haha, I hope this hurts
Heheh- okay okay- enjoy~
Virgil took a deep breath, glancing at Patton.
"You sure kiddo? I'm sure he wouldn't be mad if you needed a little more time" Virgil nodded, shaking out his hands nervously and fixing the sleeves of the tux. The music started, and Virgil sucking in a breath, walking through the door with Patton on his arm. He smiled seeing Remus' large family, along with Pattons and Logan's. He smile widened when he saw Remus waiting at the altar wearing the green and black suit they agreed on. His smile lightened a little when Patton let go of him, leaving him to walk up the steps. The music ended as he stepped up the platform, taking Remus' hands, tears coming to his eyes.
When the vows came, Virgil was holding back tears, this was all he ever wanted.
"Now, I know I'm not the person you deserve, I'm chaotic and messy, I'm constantly getting myself in trouble, and I'm always bugging you, but I'm glad you worked your way into my heart, I couldn't think of any other person to be standing here with. I vow to stand by you, to help ground you, I vow to work with you no matter what happens to us, I will always be by your side" Remus whispered to him, smiling his normal chaotic smile that Virgil loved. Virgil chocked on his tears, looking up at Remus.
"I never thought I would fall in love with someone so chaotic, but, I uh- god this is really hard, how did you do this? I'm glad that we met in that damned detention, and even if you snore, really loud, I'm glad I can have you as my soon to be husband, and I vow to keep you on track, to keep you doing what you love" Remus giggled lightly, his hold on Virgil's hands tightening. The minister said a few more things, and Virgil looked at Remus.
"Do you, Virgil Black, take Remus Prince as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
"I do" Virgil whispered, a watery smile covering his face.
"And do you, Remus Prince, take Virgil Black, as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
"I do"
"You may now kiss the groom" Virgil leaned in, closing his eyes. However, Remus' lips never touched his, the bristles of his mustache never pricked him, instead Virgil jolted up, looking around the empty bedroom, realizing what happened. He clawed at the other side, grabbing Remus' shirt and shoving it in his face, bawling into it.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I couldn't help- I'm sorry, please"
"Virgil!?" Patton rushed in, hearing the broken cries.
"I couldn't help him, I'm sorry! I'm sorry Remus, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" Virgil mumbled repeatedly.
"Virgil, it's okay" Patton hushed, pulling Virgil into a hug.
"We never had the wedding, we never heard the sound of the church bells, I- I never told him how much I loved him! He- he's gone Patton"
"I know kiddo, but he wouldn't want you crying, it's okay"
"I loved him..."
"I know, Kiddo, I know"
Virgil pressed his nose into the shirt, looking at Patton, then to the picture that was taken right before it happened. They were so happy....
