Patton Hope had just moved into town a few weeks ago. In that small amount of time, he already explored every inch of this small town.

Except the library, which he decided to explore it today! The childish man opened the door and stepped in. Patton stared around in awe of how huge this library was.

On the outside the library looked like a small brick building. But once inside, it looks humongous. Today Patton decided he would get a book about dogs!

Patton skipped towards the librarian's desk, and rang the bell. A man with dark brown hair, and black square framed glasses, turned around.

"Salutations my name is Logan. How may I help you today?" Logan asked. Patton stared at him and blushed. "I-um-uh-" Patton stumbled on his words.

He looked back at the librarian and blushed, putting his head down. Logan sighed as he got out a notebook and pen, putting it in front of Patton.

Patton looked up confused. "Am I supposed to do something?" "Well if you aren't going to talk. You might as well write down what you're going to say, and I'll understand." Logan said as he patiently waited.

Patton nodded but asked, "I would like to see where the dog books are?" Logan explained where it was, but Patton just seemed confused.

Logan sighed, "You don't go to libraries often do you?" Patton shook his head. "Virgil take my place, while I help this man here." Logan said as he walked beside Patton.

"Alright." Virgil said coming in and sat on Logan's chair. "Come now...?" "Patton, my name is Patton." Logan nodded. "Well come on now Patton. I'll lead you to the animal section."

Patton nodded and quickly followed Logan from behind. They both walked in silence until Patton asked, "Sooo, how long have you live here?"

Logan adjusted his tie and replied, "I've been here since I was born. Which would be twenty years now." "Wait you're twenty years old as well? So am I!" Patton exclaimed cheerfully.

Logan put a finger to his lips, to single quiet. "Oh my bad!" Patton whispered. "Wanna be friends?" The joyful man asked. Logan looked at him with a tiny smile.

"I don't see why not?" Logan replied. The two talked the whole time, forgetting about the dog book. They kept talking until it was time to close the library.

The two exchanged numbers before they went their separate ways. Patton unlocked his door, and walked in, locking the door.

He flopped on the couch. "That librarian is so cute! I can't wait to talk to him again!" Patton exclaimed as he hugged one of the couch pillows.
