-Roman's POV-

Being the Creative side of Thomas isn't always easy. I constantly have to feed him ideas for videos or short clips.

I was up trying to come up for an idea, but got hungry so I went downstairs to get a snack. That's when I saw Virgil. What is he doing up at this hour? Well, I guess the same could be asked of me.

I go to the cabinets as Virgil looks at me. "Why are you awake? Shouldn't you be asleep? You know, to keep your health in tact so you can be Creativity?" he says. I blink in slight confusion and reply, "And what about you, Jack Smellington? Why are you up?" I reply.
I don't want to have to say that I've been unable to sleep because I've been working so hard. He'd think I was Logan or something.

"Answer the question, Princey." he says, sort of monotone.

-Virgil's POV-

I was down in the kitchen scrolling through Tumblr at night because of my insomnia. Then I see Roman, and I asked him why he's up. I really hope he's not working himself to a crisp...

In case you haven't gotten the impression already, I secretly like Roman. But I don't say anything because, well, I'm anxious about it.

"Just answer the question, Princey." I say when he stalls. He sighs and says, "You wouldn't care, Virgil. You would think of me as some geek." I put my phone away so I can look at him.
"Let me guess: you've been working too hard trying to come up with ideas, and so you're forcing yourself to stay up so you can get more done." it was more of a statement than a question.

He looks taken aback and says, "How did you know?" I shrug and say, "You're Thomas's Creativity. It only makes sense." he nods slowly and then asks again, "So, what about you?"
I look at him like he should know. "Roman, I can't ever sleep. I have insomnia. Why do you think I wear eyeshadow all the time?" It clicks into his head and he suddenly looks sad.

"Virgil... Isn't there like, medicine or something that can help? Or at least, have you tried to just lay down and close your eyes?" good God, he sounds like a worried mother... At least he cares, though.
"Yeah, there is, and yeah, I have. Both don't really work for me."

-Roman's POV-

Virgil seriously tried both of them and they didn't work? That's... Awful... I wonder... "Hey, Virgil?" I say. "What?" "I was just thinking, do you think you'd be able to sleep better if you had a boyfriend?"
He blinks at me in both shock and confusion and says, "I mean, maybe, but who would want to date me? It's not like I'm anything special..." He looks away.

"Well... Maybe... Maybe I would..." This is a really bad way to ask someone out.
He looks back up at me and asks, "Wait, r-really? Why? Why me?" I look to the side because I'm starting to get nervous. "Well... I don't know... It's just something about you. I mean, I've always liked you, it's just, my way of showing it is terrible." I've started to ramble. Great.

He looks confused and says, "So, you're trying to tell me that all those times you were mean to me, you were trying to flirt?"
"I know it sounds ridiculous, but-" I was cut off by Virgil saying, "Shut up and kiss me, you blubbering buffoon..." I didn't need to be told twice.

We kissed and eventually ended up asking each other out (Literally. We said it at the same time).
"Roman... Can you... I mean, will you..." Virgil starts saying. "Yes?" I ask my new boyfriend. "Can you sleep with me tonight? I-i mean, only if you're okay with it..." I smile and nod. "Of course I will. If it will help you sleep. Now, let's try to get to bed, yeah?" he nods back and says, "Yeah."

In the morning, we tell everyone about us being together. Patton says "Aww" for an extended period of time,  Thomas just says, "Aww, that's cute!", and Logan looks surprised but says, "Congratulations?" like he didn't know what to say.

Let's just say it was easier for Virgil to sleep at night.
