Okay, this isn't a story BUT I just want a place to discuss the new video because OH BOY, it was a doozy. The main thing I'm probably gonna discuss is the end card because goD DAMN

Also, obviously, spoilers from the new video if you haven't seen it.

Now let's DIVE RIGHT INTO IT!

- VIRGIL'S EXCITEMENT AT THE BEGINNING

Okay so that was ADORABLE how excited he was about celebrating Halloween on Christmas AND to dress up in a spooky costume. And how he was "affectionately" gonna scare the others.
Also, Virgil's little "no" at the beginning killed me.

- Virgil's attempts at being scary

Okay but did anyone else notice that in LNTAO, Virgil had explicitly said that being scary was "bad"? And that he doesn't have to act all tough? Now he's all upset that they don't find him scary anymore.
Sounds like Virgil is having an identity crisis or something.
Yes, I know it's all in the spirit of Halloween, but I just find it funny.

- THE EMO REFERENCES

Okay but while they were discussing the emo phase, I kinda freaked out over the references.

CAN WE JUST APPRECIATE PATTON'S LOOK FOR A SECOND

I'm especially geeking out over that little Twenty One Pilots pin on the beanie since Twenty One Pilots is my favourite band.

AlsO Roman's multiple song references. I TOTALLY didn't freak out when Roman references Panic! At The Disco with "but it's better if you do". Totally not. Don't fact check that.

I don't even listen to MCR but I've been watching enough CrankThatFrank to freak out over the "Teenagers" reference.

And, I don't listen to Paramore so I didn't really get that reference.

- Virgil's hiss

I'm sorry but I screamed over hearing Virgil hiss for the first time since his and Logan's debate. I also love how he apologized right after hitting Thomas with the rock. Apologizing twice at that.

- Logan swearing

Putting it simply, any of the sides swearing is my aesthetic.

Which is partially why I've been going around saying "Bitchmas" in every situation I can.

- THE END CARD

Hoooooolllllyyyyyy shit I might've screamed over the end card.

Oh who am I kidding?

I FUCKING DIED OVER THE END CARD.

I legitimately almost fell off of my fucking bed when Deceit appeared. I was freaking the fuck out I'm surprised my parents didn't come in and ask if I wasn't DYING.

Okay but I love the fact that we got to go BACK INTO Virgil's room. No joke like hours before that I was thinking about how cool it would be to go back to Virgil's room, but I had decided that that wouldn't happen because it would be too much of a hassle for them to set up again.  BUT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.

Anyway, VIRGIL AND DECEIT DEFINITELY HAVE A HISTORY AND I'M HERE FOR IT. You could tell that they are definitely NOT friends, and Virgil clearly didn't want to be conversing with Deceit at that very moment.

I mean that fucking look that Virge gave Deceit.

Also, can we talk about "Maybe soon, you could be rid of us all."

Uhm.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!

I do have some theories myself, though.

One possible theory of mine is, what if Deceit is trying to pull Virgil away from the light sides and get him back into the dark sides? Then he would be rid of the others and wouldn't have to worry about them not thinking that he's scary.

Another possible theory is that Deceit could be trying to get rid of Virgil for some unknown reason. Probably to do with their past conflicts that we haven't learned about yet.

Or maybe he's just trying to isolate Virgil once again so that he's alone.

I don't know, this is all super confusing.

Also—

THAT LITTLE VOICE CRACK WHEN VIRGIL YELLS "Nothing, get out!!"

Oh my god I kinda maybe screeched because it sounded so cute. It could have a darker meaning, though. I've seen one theory that basically said that Virgil could be showing that he's still afraid of Deceit, and that's why his voice cracked.

Also DECEIT'S FUCKING LAUGH HOLY DAMN

I don't know, all I know is that I absolutely ADORED this video and that end card was one of the best end cards that I have seen in my entire damn life.
