Should've Watched Shrek
A/n: You would think that having more than three requests to do at a time would get overwhelming, but I really love working on all these stories at once 😆
little_pupcup thank you SOOO much, I really appreciate these requests! Thank you for being so patient❤️
Also, little heads up, just in case ya'll don't like to read about horror stuff, there will be some in this chapter but nothing too graphic in my opinion, but i'm the one who wrote it so duh😭
Logan sat on the left of Roman, scrolling idly through his phone as Janus began to flip through the the channels in search for a good movie to watch.
They could probably sit like that for hours, in a comfortable silence with one another, no anxious thoughts or uncomfortable tension. But, Virgil and Remus had sent in a list of horror movies that they jokingly said would be tame enough for them to handle.
Logan, of course, was quick to respond to that and tell Virgil that horror movies were all just fake blood and guts, cheap special effects and a corny script. It was nothing, logically, to be afraid of.
So Remus took that as a challenge on Virgil's behalf, and went on a search for the most gruesome, disturbing films that he could find. Not the typical slasher movie, no no no—he pulled out big guns. Logan wasn't quite sure what that meant.
...Until, the black screen of the television lit up with the fancy white font, 'Based on a true story.'
Welp. Logan was in for it now—if Remus had suggested a nonfictional film, then it was bound to be horrible. Not one of those heartwarming stories that leave you feeling sad but uplifted, no, this was likely going to be a film about kidnapping, murder, torture—the list goes on.
"Sure you don't want to watch Shrek?"
Roman joked as he felt Logan physically tense beside him.
Logan scoffed, "absolutely not, Roman.
I can handle a simple film. It's all fake."
And sure, to a sense, that was correct. The film was fake. Although it was based on a true story, it wasn't like they were actually watching the real events unfold. In Logan's eyes, however, that was even more terrifying, because then, you got to thinking about how this stuff actually happened to someone, and that was just horrifying to him, to think about how real those screams really were.
Logan tried to pay attention to the opening credits. The music playing wasn't pumped up, it wasn't exaggerated. It was quiet, high pitched and eerie—almost solemn as the screen panned to a girl. A young girl, no older than six, in a black dress kneeling at a gravestone with silent tears running down her face. Her eyes were closed tightly.
The movie continued, and Logan found the contents to be quite disturbing. At first, he thought that it was just going to be sad, but as the movie went on, it proved to be truly horrible.
He didn't even want to think about what that girls father did to her as the end credits rolled. The years of trauma and abuse, kept locked away, hidden in the basement from the world, beaten and blamed for her mother's death. And when her father died, when she thought she was free—she was easily manipulated into an abusive relationship and kidnapped by someone who she thought she could finally love and be loved by.
And Logan couldn't believe how undeniably scared he felt. That there were actually people in this world that would do such horrible things. The kidnapping scene left his stomach feeling weak, and so did the fact that the girl never got justice. She died in that man's home, and that man died before he went to jail.
"Less scary...more disturbing" Janus shrugged boredly as he switched the tv off, stood up, and stretched, "that was actually a good movie."
Logan still felt like his dinner was going to come up at any moment—and Janus wasn't even phased?! This must be how everyone else alway felt with him, as Logan wasn't the best at expressing emotions.
Roman sniffled, "that was just so sad" he said, "don't even wake me up until like—dinner time tomorrow, I don't want to have to think about that. In the morning."
"You'd rather think about it at night?" Logan asked, accidentally letting on how disturbed he actually was.
Janus rolled his eyes, "come on, Logan, I know out of the three of us, you aren't scared of something like that. I'm heading to bed. Cya" he walked off in the direction of his room.
Before Logan could beg Roman to stay up with him, the man stretched and sighed, "yeah. Me too, i'm pooped."
Logan let his words die on his tongue. He didn't want to seem pathetic, so he made his way to his room as well.

No matter how many times Logan tried to relax, he simply couldn't. The images of that young woman being beaten to death wouldn't leave his mind. The man stuffing the struggling girl into a bag as she gasped her last breath. Actually, no—there was no telling if she was even fully dead at that point, but by the time the man had driven her to the bridge she likely suffocated in there.
Or maybe she drowned when he threw her off the edge and watched the bag go limp, floating for a while before it sunk.
He screwed his eyes shut at the images the movie showed of the girl's waterlogged body being recovered, absolutely littered with scars and bruises, her frame was so skinny, like a skeleton.
And he tried to tell himself that it was all fake. Fake fake fake, the girl he saw wasn't real, the photos shown to the detectives in the movie weren't real, it was all makeup, all special affects, all just stunts and lighting—
But it was real, and it really did happen to that girl. He heard a creek and almost screamed. He tensed up, dicing under his covers.
And it could happen to him.
The more he thought about it, the more he came to realize that there could be someone in his closet, someone in the apartment, who would want to steal or hurt or kidnap him. It happened every day, and that thought scared him, that he could very well have that happen to him.
So, he did the only logical thing that he could do in this situation.
He made a mad dash to Roman's room and dove under the covers. He made special care not to touch Roman, since he didn't want to be caught seeking his comfort. He was a little embarrassed that he literally went to go sleep with his roommate because he was afraid, but the fear felt real to him, and he didn't feel fear often so it was a scary, uncomfortable feeling.
He was able to quickly fall asleep with the comfort of knowing that Roman was right there, next to him, sleeping soundly. Roman would protect him, Roman was strong.

Logan's eyes fluttered open not even three hours later, when he felt a strong, uncomfortable tension stirring between his legs. He let out a small sigh. He had to pee, and badly at that. He knew that if he ignored it, it most definitely wouldn't go away—heck, it was hard to ignore as is, but he did not want to leave the warmth and comfort of Roman's bed and risk getting kidnapped.
He didn't exactly know what time it was, but he refused to leave the bed until light began to stream through the curtains. It was pitch black, and he had left his glasses and his phone in his room, so he couldn't exactly see.
After thirty minutes passed, he was seriously considering waking Roman up to ask if he could be his bathroom buddy, but that seemed completely and utterly humiliating, so he stayed put, shaking desperately. He wasn't going to make it to a toilet at this point, even if he ran. He could feel beads of piss leaking out of him and slipping through his fingers.
"No" he whimpered in a final attempt to hold it all back. But life wasn't particularly kind to him, and his bladder was ready to give out. He could feel it seeping through his pants and into Roman's mattress almost as soon as he started going. There was no controlling it at this point.
His eyes widened and he felt tears prickling inside of them as he came to the full realization that what was happening was real, and that he was pissing the bed. And not just the bed, Roman's bed—and he wasn't even asleep, he was wide awake.
He had to admit that it felt wonderful to finally have an empty bladder after agonizing over it for so long, but it didn't feel good to be so wet and scared and alone.
He sat up quickly as a sob tore through his throat. He hunched forward and buried his face in his hands as he began to cry. Tears slid down his cheeks quickly, and he couldn't stop his trembling figure from shaking.
Roman was going to kill him. Not only that, but he was going to tell everyone, and he would never live this down!
Logan, in his panic, failed to hear Roman rustling in the sheets. The other man was fully sat up at this point, "Who the hell?" He asked groggily, wondering who was crying and why his bed was wet. He turned on his bedside lamp and came face to face with Logan, who was sobbing his eyes out.
If it wasn't three am and Roman wasn't sleep deprived, he likely would have handled the situation with a little more tact. It wasn't often that Logan cried, so he probably should have been more concerned than upset.
"Logan!" Roman screeched, "what are you doing?!" He cried, pulling the covers over himself despite being fully clothed. When the blankets were ripped away from Logan, Roman was quick to realize why the bed was so wet.
"Logan!" He screamed louder, "what the hell?! That is disgusting, what is wrong with you?" He yelled, his features scrunched together angrily.
Logan flinched at the yells and realized that he didn't have an excuse that made him not seem completely and utterly pathetic. He pissed in Roman's bed because he was afraid of a movie. It was as plain and simple as that.
He couldn't stop his eyes from watering all over again. He tried to bite his quivering lip to keep from crying, but it didn't work.
Janus bursted into the room, "what is happening in here?!" He froze in place when he got closer and found that Logan was crying. Huge shocker. An even bigger shocker, though, was the fact that he was sitting in a puddle of pee, and a huge puddle of pee at that. The stain in the sheets 100% soaked through the mattress, and Logan's pants were completely saturated, beads of piss rolling off and soaking into the bed as he shifted around.
"Logan, did you piss yourself?!" Janus asked incredulously.
Logan let out a sob, "i'm so sorry!"
Janus panicked, "oh—oh, Logan no, please don't get upset, I didn't mean for it to come out that way!"
Roman found himself feeling quite guilty as well, "Logan, I'm sorry, I over reacted—"
"N-no!" Logan interrupted, "you didn't overreact, I did!"
"What do you mean?" Roman asked, his heart pounding in his chest with anxious nerve. They weren't used to Logan acting this way.
"I was scared!" He wailed, sounding every bit of childish that he felt, "I—i'm so stupid—"
"You were—scared?" Janus asked, "why?"
"The movie!" He exclaimed.
"Oh—Logan—we didn't think that it affected you that much" Roman whispered gently, "i'm so sorry for yelling, I was just shocked."
"It—it's fine, i'd be shocked too" Logan sniffled.
Roman smirker, "so why'd you come to my room instead of Janus's?"
Logan blushed, "I—I don't know! I just, it was an automatic decision, I didn't give it any thought. I'm really sorry for wetting your bed."
"It's fine. Hey, how about you go get cleaned up, okay?" Roman asked, "then we can maybe talk some more."
Logan nodded.
"Yeah" Janus said, "we'll stay up with you if you're still spooked and watch something goofy, or maybe a science documentary, hm?" He asked, trying to make Logan feel better.
Logan nodded, "thank you guys so much..."
"We'll take care of the mess" before Logan could protest, Janus continued, "no buts."
Logan simply nodded.
By the time he finished, Logan was far too drained to stay up, so they all climbed into Roman's newly cleaned bed, Logan sleeping in between Janus and Roman.
Janus played with Logan's hair to calm him.
"Well, I think we can all agree on one thing" Roman sighed.
"Yep" Janus sighed.
"We should've watched Shrek" Logan said seriously, before they all bursted into giggles.
A/n: The 'movie' I described wasn't based on a true story or even a movie I just made that up because I didn't know what movie to do that would reasonably freak Logan out🥳
Also, if you think I forgot about your request, or think I didn't see it(like this one) you can always drop a comment, a reminder, or a subtle lil' uwu face.
You can ask about it, don't worry I won't feel rushed 👍👍👍
Words: You'll never know.
