Patton Can't Leave The Bed But It's Okay Because Janus Is a Good Boyfriend

A/n: I'm back babyyyyyyyyyyyy

Here we go peeps time for Patton's Injured Omo Adventures 😩😩😩

Aight, to those who care;;;Church camp was awesome as always, BUT,,, there were wasps everywhere so i'm kinda traumatized from that💀😭

Also, you've probably noticed a lack of updates recently,,,I didn't have internet at the camp, and I couldn't access ANY of the prompts so I couldn't even start writing them. Instead, I improvised and used my brain to make this up during free time.

Patton sat, pouting on the bed as his boyfriend brought him some soup, "Janny, i'm sick of soup!"

Janus rolled his eyes, "You're right, you are sick, so sick, in fact the doctors recommended no solid foods for at the very least a week" he said seriously.

Patton grumbled, "you act like it was my fault that I was buried under snow for twelve hours."

Janus sighed gently, "no, Patton I don't think that at all, I just—i'm worried, and stressed—you were asleep in the hospital for three days, I didn't think that I was even—even going to get the chance to bring you home."

Janus's voice broke and Patton took his hand, "Baby" Patton said, his voice soft as he sniffled, rubbing his nose, "I know this has been just as hard for you. I'm so sorry."

Janus wiped his own eyes, "no, i'm sorry—goodness, I just, am so, so happy that you're okay" he smiled warmly, "but you can barely even keep your eyes open, love. I think you should drink your soup, sip some water and get some rest."

Patton nodded and Janus kissed his forehead, "just tell me if the food is too much. We can hook you up to one of those at home IV drainers and they can pump you up with water and nutrients."

"Thank you so much, Jan, really. I couldn't ask for anyone better" Patton said, getting choked up, "I love you so much. I don't know what I can do to thank you—"

Janus kissed him sweetly on the lips and offered him a smile, "you don't need to thank me for taking care of you when you aren't well, love, just get better. That's all i ask."

Patton sniffled, smiling, "thank you, Jan" he tried to lift his spoon to his lips but his hands shook and he sighed.

Janus, sensing Patton's frustration, gently took the hot bowl from him before he burned himself, "baby, don't get so worked up—"

"I'm useless!" Patton cried, his lip wobbling. Janus panicked, because his boyfriend was dangerously close to crying.

"You're not useless, you're sick. You can't even sit up on your own right now, so don't beat yourself up. Now here" Janus said, grabbing the bowl and bringing it to Patton's lips. Patton opened his mouth and Janus tipped the bowl forward.

They stayed like that for a few minutes, until Patton finished. Janus took the bowl, "Now, i'll be going off to do some dishes and maybe a little but of laundry, will you be okay by yourself?" Janus asked.

Patton nodded again, "i'll try to get some sleep."

————————————————————

And he did sleep—he slept very well. And When he woke up, Janus wasn't there. Obviously, could he really expect him to spend every waking moment with him? No, Patton knew that. But he really wished he would have been there, because his phone was out of reach and Patton had a little problem.

He really didn't want to bother his boyfriend, who was no doubt busy making a bunch of phone calls to work, friends and family as an update on Patton's condition.

But he couldn't help his body, and his body said that he really, really had to pee. Like, bad.

It was his first day back home from the hospital after being asleep for so long, and he didn't know what plan Janus had in place for him to use the bathroom. Patton knew that he was on strict bed rest. His body was weak and his legs numb, so walking was out of the question for a few days.

He couldn't really yell for Janus either. His throat hurt really bad. It was raw and abused from screaming for help where he had been buried under the snow, and the drainage happening because of his sickness didn't help much either.

But if he wanted to save his boyfriend the hassle of having to clean the bed and get him a bath, he would have to sacrifice the wellbeing of his throat, "Janus!" He called, his voice scratchy and weak. He slipped a hand between his thighs. He really needed to go.

He wasn't sure what had him so sensitive, but he could feel tension pushing behind his eyeballs telling him that he was about to start crying any second now. He tried again, cringing when he felt a leak in his boxers, "Jan! Janus!" He called louder, "can you please come here?!" His voice was desperate, and he felt bad because he knew Janus would worry the whole way there.

He finally heard a panicked, "coming!" Followed by loud footsteps running in his direction. The door burst open, revealing Janus, looking rather distressed, "Patton, are you alright?"

Patton just shook his head, his voice small and shaky, "I gotta pee" he whimpered.

And Janus laughed at him.

So, Patton did what anybody else sick with hypothermia and high off of pain pills would do. He began to cry.

"D—Don't laugh at me" he sniffled quietly, crocodile tears beginning to run down his face, "I gotta go, an—and I don't think I can hold it anymore!" He wailed.

Janus stopped laughing as soon as he realized Patton was actually upset, "oh—oh, honey, no i'm so sorry, really I am, I just found it funny because I thought you were hurt! You sounded very upset."

Patton nodded as Janus swiped his tears away with his thumb, "how am I gonna go?" He asked awkwardly.

"The doctors got me a urinal bottle for you. Just pee in here and you'll be all set, okay?" Janus asked, speeding across the room to grab it, "alright.
I'm sorry, dear I should have given this to you much earlier."

"It's okay! Just—can I have it? Now?" He asked, cringing.

"Oh, yes of course!" Janus said quickly, handing it to Patton, who eagerly sat up, yanked down his sweatpants, and shoved it between his legs.

Janus found the decency to turn and look away as Patton released hard and heavy into the reciprocal. He let out a sigh of relief and allowed himself to physically relax.

The stream went on for much longer than Janus anticipated. A whole minute in, and Patton didn't even seem close to stopping, hell, he seemed like he was just beginning. And Janus couldn't help but feel a little bit of guilt for laughing earlier as he wondered how long Patton held it for, if he had been too embarrassed to ask him about it, or if he just woken up like that.

Several times the stream slowed, making Janus think he was nearly finished, only to pick right back up again with the same velocity as before, so when Patton actually finished he had to get his boyfriend's attention. He coughed awkwardly, "uh, Jan..i'm um. Done."

Janus turned around, noticing that Patton looked he looked a little embarrassed with his flushed cheeks and downcast eyes as he handed the bottle back to him.

"I'll say" Janus said, "you really had to go. I'm sorry for laughing earlier, baby. Use the bottle as soon as you need to, okay? You shouldn't hold it, the last thing you need is an infection, okay?"

Patton agreed, and so Janus went off to wash the bottle out. When he returned, he set it under the desk.

Right out of Patton's reach.

"Can we cuddle?" Patton asked after a moment, "i'm gonna try to go back to sleep."

"Of course, honey" Janus said, slipping into the bed and slipping an arm underneath Patton's neck, pulling him close to his chest.

Patton giggled and reached over to turn the lamp off, before relaxing in Janus's hold.

————————————————————

The next time Patton woke up, he decided he'd never had to pee so bad in his life. Earlier was nothing compared to this. Getting pumped up with water and soup for hours on end did nothing to calm his raging bladder. Being so sick didn't help him either, his body was feeling extra weak.

He looked around desperately and found Janus was sleeping soundly, arms wrapped uncomfortably around Patton's middle.

Okay, no problem. He could just shimmy out of Janus's arms, grab the bottle and go. He flicked the lamp on and groaned when he realized that the urinal bottle was too far away.

He bit his lip. There was no way that he could disturb his boyfriend when he had probably just gotten his first wink of sleep since Patton had been admitted to the hospital. He knew his boyfriend stayed up all night, holding his hand, never leaving his side.

Three days of Janus worrying and crying and unable to sleep—Patton would feel horrible to wake him up now when he looked so peaceful, so content. Janus was clearly exhausted, but Patton just had to go so bad.

"Janus" Patton said, after a moment, shaking his boyfriend's shoulders, "wake up!"

He didn't even stir.

"Jan, I gotta go" he whined, "please wake up!" He had similar results from the previous attempt. He huffed and shoved his hands between his legs. If Janus didn't wake up soon he was going to pee the bed, and that was the last thing he wanted.

He shook him a little more harshly when he felt steady dribbles of piss begin to leak from him, "Janus!" Patton gasped, "I have to pee, wake up!"

Janus blinked awake, shifting around a bit, "mmm...and this concerns me why?" He asked.

"Because I have to pee!" Patton cried.

"Well, I'm not stopping you, go" janus mumbled, slamming his face back into his pillow and falling back to sleep almost as soon as he had woken up.

"I can't go, I need the bottle!" Patton cried. Janus didn't even dignify him with a response, "Janus?!"

Wow. Janus really was tired.

Well, tired or not, Patton could feel his control slipping, so Janus was going to wake up weather he liked it or not.

Patton grabbed a pillow and smacked Janus with it full force. He snorted awake, "Patton, what the hell?! Go to sleep!" He snapped, "stop bothering meeeee" he groaned, rubbing his eyes.

The harsh, sudden yell made Patton jump, his control dwindling down into nothing. Patton pulled his knees up to his chest and whimpered, burying his face in his arms, "no no no no no" he whispered, curling his toes as the feeling of relief flooded through his system.

"Patton, what's wrong?" Janus asked, noticing his boyfriend had a red, flushed face and wide, teary eyes. Not only that, he was trembling. All of a sudden, Janus was wide awake, "are you going to puke?!"

Patton's stream of piss began to soak through his underwear and darken his sweatpants. He felt the warm liquid pool around his ass and soak into the sheets, "gotta pee" he panted, cutting his stream off and doing everything in his power that he could to not completely loose it.

Janus's eyes bulged wide, "oh! Oh, Patton i'm so sorry I thought I was having a fever dream! Where—where the hell did I put that stupid bottle?!" He yelled to himself, fumbling out of bed. He spotted it under the bedside desk and was quick to hand it to Patton, who was slowly and steadily pissing himself.

"Open it, open it" Patton panted, "c-can't move hands, it'll come out."

"Okay, okay!" Janus said quickly, unscrewing the cap and removing the blankets from Patton. He gasped at just how dark his sweatpants had gotten, and the rapidly growing puddle around his thighs. Patton sat up quickly.

He fumbled with his sweatpants, pulling them down and tanking t he band of his boxers down too, exposing his leaking member(💀)he couldn't control the piss that sprayed out of him as he trembled, trying to stick himself into the bottle.

Janus narrowly avoided the spray, and when Patton finally made it into the bottle, Janus helped him adjust and moved to sit behind Patton, who began to sob and apologize. He held Patton close, rubbing soothing circles on his back and telling him to relax, "baby this was my fault, don't apologize. I am so sorry for not putting it where you could get it."

Patton only half listened to Janus's apologies, focused on the sweet bliss he felt as he emptied his swollen bladder. When he finished he let out a sigh, leaning fully into Janus and panting. Janus capped the lid and set it on the desk as Patton tucked himself away.

They sat in silence for a few moments before Janus spoke up, "i'm bad at taking care of you."

Patton chuckled a little, wiping his eyes, "no honey, you're perfect. You've done so much for me and i'm really appreciative of it. I just have a stupid baby bladder, and you weren't waking up for anything."

Janus smiled a little, "sorry about that. I guess I was tired."

Patton frowned, "You've been so busy looking after me, you haven't been looking after yourself" he noted.

"Yeah, well it's hard to not look at you" Janus joked lovingly.

Patton blushed and tolled his eyes, but didn't protest, because damn right.

"Even though most of it made it in the bottle" Janus began, "you uh. May as well have had an accident. I should get the sheets changed and get you in some clean clothes."

"Yeah. I'd appreciate that" Patton said, cringing as he shifted and felt the rapidly cooling piss on his pants cling uncomfortably to his thighs, "it's itchy."

"Well, let's get you cleaned up, okay?" Janus said, keeping his voice calm when he saw Patton's lip begin to tremble.

"I—I'm so sorry..." Patton whispered, "I hate being a burden—"

"You never have been, are not, and never will be a burden to me" Janus said seriously, "and even if I didn't want to do this, I would. I love you more than I have loved anyone or anything in my entire life."

Patton sniffled, wiping his eyes, "thank you, baby. I love you so much."

"I'll go get some new clothes and sheets" Janus said, kissing his nose, "i'll help to move you onto the couch. Can you feel your legs yet?"

"I mean—I can't feel them but I can move them" Patton said, unsurely.

"Hm. Well, if you can't feel them then walking won't be easy. You'll probably just topple right over" Janus said, shrugging, "don't worry, I got you."

Before Patton could question him, Janus had scooped him in his arms. Patton let out a tiny shriek along with a few quiet giggles and wrapped his arms around Janus's neck, "Wait, I gotta take my pants off!" he protested.

Janus smirked, "You should take your shirt off too..."

Patton gasped, "Janus, I did not pee on my shirt!"

————————————————————

It was safe to say that Janus never again left the bottle out of Patton's reach after that near accident. But that wasn't to say that there weren't any problems with it.

Just the next day, Janus learned that Patton could be a little shy sometimes.

"Hey" Janus said, eyeing his boyfriend suspiciously, "you're kinda fidgety today. You alright?"

"I'm f-fine!" Patton said quickly, but his stutter didn't go unnoticed.

"I don't think that's the truth, honey" Janus said gently, "does something hurt? The pain meds were supposed to have kicked in already..." he frowned, rubbing his thumb along Patton's knuckles.

He felt his eyes become a little misty when he pictured Patton, less than a week before, being pulled from the crushing weight of the snow hours after he was found. He had held his hand then, grasping it tightly as they were both forced into the ambulance.

Patton's hands had been so cold that Janus felt like he had been burned. They continued to feel icy and look pale for days.

"They're working" Patton assured quickly, not wanting his boyfriend to be so upset, "they're working great, actually, I don't feel a thing!"

Janus nodded, "then what's the matter?"

"You're gonna think it's silly" Patton said.

Janus raised a brow, but was glad it wasn't something serious, "I promise i'll be kind to you."

Patton sighed, crossing his arms and looking down, his face turning red, "I gotta pee" he grumbled.

Janus bit his lip to keep from laughing because he promised to be kind. Patton looked so adorable, "sweetheart, the bottle's right there!" He laughed.

"I—I know, but I didn't know how...how to like, do it" he said awkwardly.

"Well first, you take out your di—"

"Janus!" Patton shrieked, smacking him with a pillow when he started laughing, "I meant like—asking!"

"Babe, if you have to pee you can just tell me to pass over the bottle and you can go" Janus said, smirking, "it's not that deep."

Patton pouted, "Well it's not that easy to go when you're right there!"

"Oh. You're shy?" Janus smirked, "aweee! Patton, that is so cute" he teased.

"Noooo!" Patton whined.

"Well you peed in front of me twice just yesterday!" Janus protested.

"Well I was about to explode then, now i'm not and I can actually think clearly, and it's embarrassing!" He argued.

"Okay, okay. I'll give you some privacy" Janus chuckled, "I need to go to the store anyways. Is there anything you need?"

"I need you to get out so that I can pee!" He cried, bouncing up and down.

"Okay! Okay okay, i'll ask again once you're done!"

————————————————————

When Patton finished up, Janus left to go to the store after being certain that Patton had everything he needed to be comfortable for a while. Water, snacks, the bottle, a coloring book, and the remote.

Patton felt kinda lonely without Janus there, especially since he hadn't left his side in a while. He actually almost decided not to leave, but Patton insisted that he go.

A little after Janus left, Patton turned a movie on so that he didn't have to be alone in the silence. He got a text fifteen minutes later from his boyfriend that instructed him to drink the glass of water and take a nap.

Patton had rolled his eyes, but drank the water. He was not going to take a nap.

————————————————————

Much to Patton's dismay, he fell asleep just five minutes after he drank his water. He hadn't even realized how tired he was until his head hit the pillow. He blinked rapidly and rubbed his eyes, reaching for the remote he was laying next to. He turned off the tv and grabbed his glasses off the desk.

But he found a problem when he moved. Something felt warm and wet. He froze, peeling the blankets back. His suspicions were confirmed when he saw his soaking wet sweatpants clinging to him, and a large stain underneath him. He tossed the blanket back over him and began to panic.

He'd wet the bed. He actually wet the bed. He, a full grown man. He thought he was going to cry, but he heard the front door opening, followed by Janus calling his name.

He tensed up, surveying his surroundings. The blanket wasn't wet, so he would have a little time to think before he had to explain himself, so that would be good. Gosh, Janus was going to hate him! He'd had so much love and patience, and there Patton was being a disgusting little baby.

He sniffled when Janus entered the room, wiping his eyes quickly.

"Were you okay without me? I'm so sorry I was gone so long, I had a little problem with the car to deal with, you know how big of a piece of junk that thing is—but everything's okay now" Janus explained quickly, before surveying the bedside table, "oh, good. You drank your water."

He saw the urinal bottle and frowned, "you haven't peed yet?" Janus asked.

"No. Um. I did" Patton said, his voice quivering.

Janus's eyes blew wide, "Patton, you aren't meant to be getting out of bed" he chastised gently.

Patton's lip trembled and he burst into tears, "I didn't get out of bed!" He cried, "throwing the covers off, "I—I peed the bed like a little kid and i'm so disgusting and I don't deserve you and please go away and let me deal with it myself because I can't do anything, and—"

"Woah, woah woah!" Janus said quickly, rushing closer over to Patton, "don't talk like that, I love you. I love you so, so much this really isn't a big deal! How long were you sitting in this? I'm so sorry I wasn't hime sooner, you're probably so uncomfy right now!"

"W—what?" Patton stuttered, "you aren't mad?"

"Why would I be mad?" Janus asked, "you had an accident" he said, "want to tell me what happened while we get you ready for a bath?"

Patton, overwhelmed by his boyfriends kindness, just nodded as he began to take off his clothes, "I was asleep when it happened, I just woke up like this five minutes before you got home. I'm sorry..."

"Don't apologize" Janus said as he picked up Patton, "your body is trying to get some sleep, you're exhausted. It doesn't think that waking you up to pee is that important—it thought you needed the rest more."

Patton sniffled and nodded, "tha-that makes sense..."

"Yeah. Here, i'm going to run you a bath, but first i'm going to set you in the tub and rinse you off so you aren't sitting in dirty water. Then i'm going to put the sheets and clothes in the wash and remake the bed. You just stay here and relax, okay?" Janus questioned.

Patton sighed as he was laid in the tub and Janus began to get the water'a temperature right, "you mean the world to me. Thank you so much."

Janus leaned down and kissed Patton's nose, "you'd do the same for me."

"I dunno" Patton said teasingly, "it's a lot of work."

Janus rolled his eyes, "hush, you."
