Virgil began to wake up while Patton went to cook something for breakfast. When he realized where he is he immediately turned red and rolled from Roman further on the floor.

R: "Good morning?"

Virgil was on the floor covering his face.

V: "Good morning..."

R: "Aw what's the matter boy?"

V: "What did we do?  I don't remember too much..."

R: "Kissed. Drank alcohol. Somehow my head doesn't hurt."

V: "We continued kissing?!"

Virgils ears were visibly red.

V: "Anything else?"

R: "Don't tell me you don't remember."

V: "So... So you saw...?"

Roman stayed silent. Patton told him.  About Virgil's panic attacks. He'd hate to be a cause of one.

V: "Silence means yes..."

R: "Virgil I- I don't know what should I say... I think your beautiful... Just the way you are..."

Virgil sat up and looked at Roman completely red faced.

V: "You... You mean it?"

He sound like he got some hope with a little spark in his eyes.

R: "I do."

Patton yelled from the kitchen.

P: "PANCAKES!"

Virgil got up and ran to the kitchen.

V: "PANCAKES!"

R: "Wait for me!"

Roman got up and ran to the kitchen. There was Virgil already sitting in a dining room next to kitchen and waiting for for his pancakes. Roman sat down at the table across Virgil. Looking at him like Monika from Doki Doki literature club. Having a sly grin. Patton placed 2 plates of pancakes in front of them. Than he brought them accessories to it. They both wanted to grab maple syrup. Roman let Virgil have it first. Virgil smiled at Roman for that as he poured some syrup over his pancakes, than he handed it to Roman. While Patton was putting Nutella on his pancakes and bananas.

After the breakfast. Roman laughed as he saw Virgil got some syrup on his nose. He reached over the table to wipe it away with his finger.

And he did. Making Virgil blush even more. Patton was silent for a moment.  Than he lighten up.

P: "GIVE ME A SECOND!"

He ran into the hall and they could hear him going through old closet. Than a muffled 'BINGO!' Could be heard. He ran back to dining room with now empty table. He was holding something black and threw it over at Virgil jumping up and own repeating.

P: "PUT IT ON!  PUT IT ON!  PUT IT ON!"

Roman now could see it was rather big made of black leather. Virgil grabbed the shoulders and the ball of leather revealed it's true form. Leather coat.

V: "you can't be serious."

P: "PUT IT ON!  PLEEEEEEAAASE!"

Patton made the puppy dog eyes at Virgil who chuckled.

V: "Alright. Alright."

P: "YES!"

Roman finally connected all the pieces together. OF COURSE! Virgil is JD in their musical. That's why the coat! Virgil put on the coat. That coat looked like no one wore it for quite some time. Virgil reached into his pocket and took out a pack of cigarettes. Took one of the cigarettes and put it in between his lips. He smirked at Roman and than took the cigarette back it between his fingers.

V: "Chaos is what killed the dinosaurs darling."

A huge smile appeared on Roman's face.

R: "HOLY SHIT YOUR PERFECT FOR THAT ROLE!"

P: "You aren't planning to start smoking again, right?"

V: "Nah man. You know I stopped the same year I forgot I got this coat."

P: "Yeah but who knows."

V: "If I start again you can punch me."

They laughed before they hears their parent's car parking. Virgil quickly packed his cigarettes and ran upstairs to hide his coat with them. Yeah he was a adult. But they'd kill him if they'd think he was about to smoke inside the house. Roman send a questioning glance over to Patton who grabbed him by his wrist and ran with him to the living room to talk.

P: "They don't know that Virgil ever smoked so Shhhhhh oki?"

Roman made a gesture like he's zipping his mouth.

R: "Won't say a word."

P: "Thanks."

In that second Angela opened the door.

A: "We're back!"

Virgil came down stairs in that moment.

V: "Cool."

A: "I got you guys some junk food for later."

R: "The party!"

Roman almost screamed with realization.

R: "Sorry guys I have to go do preparations. Don't forget to come. It's starting in 6 pm."

Roman was talking as he was putting his shoes on.

R: "Bye for now."

P and V: "Bye."

Roman ran out the doors leaving Patton's parents confused.

*time skip brought to you by my laziness + it wouldn't be fun the lunch and all...*

Patton began to look for a outfit that might look good and kinda match Virgil's. So he was looking for outfit for Virgil and himself. He had to consider what would Virgil wear and what not. He himself took light blue button up shirt with half long sleeves, black suspended, black bowtie, black trousers and black shoes. He wore a blue rubber band bracelet with white text saying: Don't give drugs a chance. Which he got on a school trip where people were talking about drugs. He just liked the color.

He prepared for Virgil a black fashionable jacket, purple turtle neck that was ending in the middle of his neck, black suspender, black trousers and black shoes.

P: "Virg? Come here I'll do your hair!"

Virgil wanted to run away as he heard this because he was bit afraid what will Patton do. But it was too late to run because Patton came for him. He started to trim the back of Virgil's hair and than he made waves on the part of Virgil's hair that was over his eye. So he wasn't looking like his hairdresser died 3 months ago but he was looking like he's about to steal your girl or boy.

Virgil than applied his eyeshadow and was ready to go. But Patton was getting more rubber band bracelets. Colorful ones with texts like: smile, love, peace. And so on. When they were both ready they said goodbye to their parents and went on their way.

They arrived at Roman's place in half an hour. Virgil was bit anxious. Well not a bit. He was at the edge of panicking and running away, but he was determined to have some quality time with Patton and his new friend. Patton rang the door bell and the door opened. But they weren't opened by who Virgil thought would open them. He was facing the tallest man he knew. Logan.

Logan turned into the house.

L: "Roman! Your guests are starting to come here!"

He turned back to the two brothers.

L: "Hello. Nice to see you two again. If you'll need me I will be spending my time doing something useful. I'll get in the library therefore I will be reading."

With that he left after hearing Virgil and Patton greet him. Roman rushed to the door. He was wearing a white button up shirt that had only half long sleeves, black trousers and black shoes. First 2 or 3 buttons of his shirt were opened revealing bit more of his well sunbathed skin.

R: "Hey guys! You both look awesome! And you are early! You are the first guest. This will be fun. And you could sleepover if you'd want to."

He was firing words like AK47. He was so excited that Virgil could only stare.

R: "Well come in! We can't spend the whole evening in the door way can we?"

P: "HI ROMAN! THAT'S GOOD IDEA!" 

Patton's enthusiasm was always incredible. He is like a pure ball of sunshine and rainbow. And whoever dares to hurt this puffball is doomed because Virgil will hurt then back.

V: "Hey there Princey."

R: "Heh what's up with that nickname?"

V: "Dunno just liked it."

R: "Alright whatever my... Chemically imbalanced romance."

V: "Did you just made a my chemical romance reference nickname?"

P: "WAS THAT A DAD JOKE?!"

R: "Maybe. You'll never know."

Roman chuckled.

R: "Well come in. We can watch something on Netflix before other will come. I planed games and karaoke."

P: "KARAOKE!"

R: "We can start with that if you want."

P: "Yesssss!"

They both walked in and closed the door of the huge mansion behind them. The Hall was gigantic. Roman lead them to the party room. It was huge! It was almost like a house of it's own. Virgil was speechless.

P: "Heh Virgil? You okay?  Cat got your tongue?"

Patton giggled. The whole room was red, white and gold decorated. Golden stars hanging from ceiling. [Not made out of gd just colored. Kay?] Red bean bags for guests, white carpet. It was nice. Virgil felt really awkward so he was glad that Roman kinda sat him down into a bean bag with a

R: "Wait here guys I forgot the microphone from the karaoke set in my room."

With that he left the two boys in the room alone.

V: "I guess their parents are well off..."

P: "They are but Roman wants to leave as soon as possible. He's saving any money he gets to buy a big house where he and his closest friends can live in."

Patton smiled. Virgil smiled too even though his heart ached from the thought he might not live in that house too. And he ached even more from thought that he or Patton would live there without the other one. He can't be without Patton yet. He's Patton's little brother. He needs Patton. Patton is the only person helping him. He was always there. And if he suddenly wouldn't be there?  That would crush Virgil.

Virgil's tray of thoughts was cut short by Roman bursting through the door with the microphone.

R: "I got it guys!"

P: "Yay!"

V: "So... Will we watch some Netflix first or Karaoke first?"

Patton looked at Virgil and could tell that he wasn't feeling like singing at the moment.

P: "Netflix first?"

He said looking at Roman.

R: "Alright then! Let's watch some Netflix."

V: "Sounds good to me."

Virgil send Patton a thankful glance which Patton responded to with that look only parents give you when you know they doesn't need you to say thank you. They just know. Patton sat next to Virgil into a bean bag with some lemonade from table with snacks and they waited for Roman to play something on the tv. Roman started Netflix and looked at the other two. They all agreed on their favorite show so they put it on. After some watching people began to come to the party.

Remi, Emilie, Allisa and other people Virgil couldn't identify. They were forming pairs talking to each other, some were playing games and few started watching with them.

Roman started karaoke turning the show off while on the other tv was already active dance mania. Few people were taking turns there, having good time. Roman looked around.

R: "Who wants to start?"

Patton jumped up from his beanbag.

P: "Me, me, me!"

He was jumping excitedly.

R: "Alright Pat. Just choose a song and I hope you know the drill."

P: "Yep. Just sing."

R: "You know the drill."

Roman chuckled. Patton choose the song Fireworks from Katy Perry and than Treat you better from Shawn Mendes. Patton was killing it! Than he looked at Virgil.

P: "Virgil?  Please?  You have such beautiful voice."

Few people around that Virgil remembered from the theater lesson were looking at him encouraging him with word like: You can do it!  You have such beautiful voice! Go for it!

And few were quietly chanting Virgil's name.

Virgil sight.

V: "Alright. But only for you bother."

P: *squeak* "He called me brother again!"

Virgil chuckled as he lazily got up and took the microphone. He was looking through the songs as he couldn't decide what song to chose. He saw a song that caught his eye. Watch me from Icon for Hire. So he put it on.

He sang it as Roman's eyes we're glued on him. Virgil started to get into the Rock star mood through the song pulling of something bit like choreography. It looked good so people were cheering for him. He than put on another song because others wanted to hear more. So he put on True Friends from Bring Me the Horizon.

Just as he did a doorbell rang. Roman went to open the door. Virgil was really putting his whole soul into this one when a too familiar figure entered the room by Roman's side but Virgil didn't notice him at first. He continued singing even when he noticed him. He put more anger into the song. Others were so surprised but excited by his passion. When the song ended he spared a single glance this person. This person that was ruining his life once upon a time. Dean. Dean Dolo. That guy that could have anything he desired while Virgil couldn't even have peace in his life.

He handed the microphone to one person standing by and sat back into the beanbag taking his phone out to play. He needs to get his mind off Dean. Even thinking about him made Virgil anxious. And now they were in one room. But the anxiety was getting overcomed by rage. Virgil stood up in few short minutes to get a glass of alcohol.

V: "Here we go again..."

He said as he took his glass and drank some alcohol looking with all his hate at that f-----r that was talking to Roman. Than he went for the karaoke. Oh of course. Because he needs to prove that he's better than Virgil, right?

Virgil drank the when glass in short period of time. He got a bit drunk. Patton wandered of after Virgil stopped. Virgil knew where to look for him if he needs him. Patton went to be Logan's silent company. He was just sitting next to Logan happy that he could be in Logan's presence. And Logan was pleased that he have some company. Virgil also knew that Patton would come back with Logan. It would take some time but Patton is determined.

Virgil found a place in the room that he can hide in and be comfortable so he stayed there with his phone and earbuds for now.

After about an hour Virgil felt someone touch his shoulder. Patton?

R: "Virgil?"

Okay. I know I don't upload a lot. But hear me out. I'm lazy, got a lot of school, it's almost midnight rn and I was trying to make this one long so hope you enjoyed it. I will start writing the next chapter ASAP. Also WE GOT OVER 1 K READS! THANKS GUYS!  Also the boys are still opened to all questions so don't be afraid to ask.
