The lesson was coming to an end.

R: "Hey, Virg. Do you have a lesson after this one?"

V: "No I got a free hour before my next lesson. History of Cinematography." (Author note: this is actual lesson I have on my high school lol)

R: "Cool! I have a free hour too. Then chemistry... We can hang out."

V: "Alright..."

A light sound of bubbles escaped from Roman's pocket.

R: "Oh. Sorry, I got sms." He took out his phone that had red leather like case and a keychain with a gold snake. He responded to his SMS and smiled at Virgil.

R: "Hey. That friend that is going to play Heather Duke will come here today. He said he is feeling well in the end."

V: "Cool... Nice keychain...?" Was he sure about complimenting it? Snakes gave him the creeps ever since one incident on high school...

R: "Heh thanks. I got it from him. He loves snakes. And he also gave me this bracelet." He pointed at a golden bracelet on his right hand.

When Virgil heard that this unnamed friend loves snakes a shiver ran down his spine. Could it be?... No that's ridiculous.

The bell rang as the teacher announced the end of lesson. Everyone got out of there as fast as they could, except Logan, Patton, Virgil, Roman, Remi and Allisa.

P: "Hey Allisa! I see you know Remi!"

A: "Yeah. He's my cousin. I haven't heard from him in ages." She didn't even look next to her to slap his shoulder playfully.

Remi: "Welp sorry but there was just too many parties, I got my ears pierced, I had a boyfriend, no time for boring family meetings."

A: "Parties? You went to parties and didn't take me too? I know I'm social as your socks but dude! Free food!"

Almost everyone laughed and Virgil just smirked after a little giggle. All of them eventually left. Logan for piano lesson, Patton for graphics lesson and Remi took Allisa to Starbucks telling her

Remi: "My boyfriend cheated on me. So we are going to f*cking expose him!"

A: "Hell yeah!"

Virgil giggled upon hearing them. Roman looked at Virgil and blushed lightly. He was cute. Smile suits him. Roman wanted to bring as much smiles to that face as he could. Virgil took his phone out to check his blog. One question was standing out.

'Virgil, are you dating anyone? And is Patton single?'

V: "I'm single Pringle. Obviously... Who would want to date someone like me? Only trouble and bills from therapist. Heh... And yes, Patton is single. But there is someone he likes. And if that guy will break Patton's heart than I will murder him. Literally..."

R: "Aww! You want to protect your brother from getting hurt. That's beautiful!"

V: "Heh thanks I guess?"

R: "No prob Bob."

Virgil giggled a bit.

R: "Well. My friend should come in like half hour from the end of this lesson we just had. He said he'll come to cafeteria. So where do you want to go before that?"

V: "Cafeteria sounds as a loud place to me... What about the near little park? It's quite. And most importantly there isn't much people."

R: "You really don't like crowded places. Or crowds in general..."

V: "They terrifies me."

R: "Alright. We are going to the park than."

On the way to the park they got some ice cream. Virgil got pistachio and vanilla. Roman got strawberry and whipped cream. They were enjoying their ice cream when they ran into Virgil's old classmate.

OC [Old Classmate not Original Character ok? XD]: "Hey Anxiety! How's it going? I haven't heard from you since the end of the high school."

Virgil gave him the coldest look Roman have ever seen. More emotionless than Logan's.

V: "Spare me your pity. You haven't cared when we were classmates so don't pretend like you care now."

OC John: "Sorry... I just..."

V: "You just never gave me a chance and started to bully me without a reason and when your king left you just pretended I don't exist. But I will give you a few bonus points. You were one of those that actually said Sorry for what you've put me through..."

OC John: "Sorry... Well I should go..."

V: "Bye John."

OC John: "Bye Anxiety."

Roman looked at Virgil with shock.

R: "What was that about? And why he called you Anxiety?"

V: "One of my old bullies. I just can't act like nothing happened. They ruined my life so far. So I'm not going to be nice to someone that made my life a living hell... And he called me Anxiety because it's my mostly preferred nickname. It's way easier than my last name. Most people from my old school don't even know my name. They just call me Anxiety. Even few teacher learned to call me Anxiety."

Roman felt bad for that little man standing next to him. For that man than was hurt so bad that sadness and anger turned to hatered and emptiness in his eyes. Virgil noticed that his ice cream is melting and licked it from his finger. Roman looked away blushing.

R: "I wish I knew you at the time. I'd protected you..."

V: "Than you would had to protect two."

R: "Huh?"

They were already in the park, Virgil found a bench in the shadow of an old tree and sat down as Roman Sat next to him.

V: "They took the bulling to the next level you know? The most painful way to hurt someone is hurt those who are dear to them. Those who stand up for them. So when they realised I don't care what they do to me at one point... They started to hurt Patton. If they'd beat me, stab me, kill me... I couldn't care less. But they hurt Patton. And seeing Patton cry... Seeing Patton don't understand what he did for them to hurt him... That hurts way more that anything they could do to my body or my mind state."

Roman felt as sadness and anger was filling him.

R: "They hurt Patton?! I would flipping murder them!"

V: "I almost chocked one of them. I snapped. But the others took me of him. Plus when I saw the shock and fear in Patton's eyes I knew I can't do it."

Roman put a hand on Virgil's shoulder.

R: "I will protect you now."

Virgil blushed. By this time all left from their ice cream was the cone. Virgil looked into Roman's eyes with a spark of hope in his eyes.

V: "You promise...?"

R: "I promise."

Virgil gave Roman a weak smile and Roman offered him a hug. He hugged Roman lightly. They had a small chat and than got to go to cafeteria.

'OMFG who is joining me to kill those bullies?'

'Me! They hurt my poor dark anxious son and the ray of sunshine happy Pappy! This won't go unpunished!'

'I got weapons. Is tank and a few AK47 enough?'

'THIS IS WAR!!!!!!'

'Can we just talk about how Roman wants to protect our boy?'

'I know right? That's so sweet!'

'I ship them. Like I see some chemistry!'

They arrived to cafeteria chatting about life and everything. Roman told Virgil that he's trying to save enough money to get a house and fulfill his dream of being theatre actor. While Virgil told him he wants to work as a musician or a singer. They got some juice and talked some more and then Virgil took out his phone with his blog.

'Hey you two. Enjoying each other's company?'

V: "So far so good."

R: "Yeah."

'So. Who is that friend of your Roman?'

R: "It's friend from child hood. He actually got to my high school in like the middle of it. He said it's because his old school was boring."

Virgil's expression froze in pure shock. He grew anxious. It... It can't be... It's just a coincidence. It gotta be... Virgil's face started to burn, his fingers and feet grew cold, his heart was racing, his head was starting to hurt and spin. He felt like that moment is never ending, he saw world as if he was watching a let's play... His breathes started to get shorter and he started shaking. He felt as panic was getting over his mind, over his body. He grasped the edge of the table coughing.

Roman started panicking. He didn't know what to do so he hugged Virgil tight and started to repeat.

R: "Everything will me alright. Everything will be just fine. Everything is okay."

Ran felt like calming Virgil took forever. He felt worried all that time. Virgil after few minutes felt better but he was still anxious and his fingers were ice cold.

R: "Are you alright?" Said Roman looking into Virgil's eyes as he was still holding him in his embrace.

V: "Better... I... Got anxious... My worst bully left in the middle of the high school... And he loved snakes..."

R: "What a coincidence... But still. If it was him... I'd teach him how to apologize and treat you well. Alright? Your on a good place now..."

Virgil hugged Roman back. He knew him just for few hours but he felt like he knew him forever. Virgil felt like he can trust him. He ever trusted only Patton and his friend Chris. And they had to gain his trust with time... But Roman? He just... Appeared... And he already feels do familiar so close...

Virgil was scared to get close but was afraid to end up alone... He was scared to break open... But still he was hoping for someone to love him.

Roman let go of Virgil and gently grabbed his shoulders.

R: "Did it actually helped you? I don't know what to do when someone have a panic attack... Or what was that..."

V: "It helped..." He wanted to say that he needed a hug for a long time but he was getting hugs from Patton every day. It just was a different type of hug...

Someone walked into the cafeteria. A man of their age with black beanie, brown hair with bleached edges, green eyes, a smug smile, black t shirt without sleeves, yellow shirt with Gray stripes, a snake tattoo on his left hand, 4 rubber band bracelets (2 black, 1 blue, 1 red), dark green belt and green trousers with black shoes.

When Roman and Virgil saw him they both said in the same time in way different tones

R and V: "Dean."

While Roman sounded excited... Virgil sounded terrified...

Yeah boiiii! New chapter! You guys were excited that I added Remi (I wasn't planning too but then I was like 'I NEED A SASS QUEEN!') So guess what? Our snek boi- I mean snake boy is here. (I was planning to add him muhahahaha) Here Dean is no one else than our old friend. Deceit.
