Trigger warning~ Kidnapping, crying and being locked up.

Until there was a loud crash from upstairs of course.

The two bolted up the stairs and and towards the sound. It was coming from the kids room. They stopped outside the open door as they realised something unusual. Remus was giggling? He hadn't even smiled since they got home.

Janus felt a tug on his arm. He turned his attention to his boyfriend. Octavian pointed inside the room while smiling like the Cheshire cat. Janus looked over to where the smaller side was pointing to see Virgil and Logan kissing sweetly on the bed.

The two pulled away when they heard Octavian squeal excitedly. They saw Remus giggling like a maniac, Octavian jumping up and down and Janus smirking. Logan pulled Virgil up as said side covered his face with his hands while he blushed madly.

Janus walked into the room and sat on the bed. Logan immediately rushed into his arms as he cried softly.
"I m-missed you dad." he croaked out. Janus was confused as to why his voice sounded so hoarse. None the less, he hugged the intellectual side close.
"What's wrong lolo?" Remus asked as he plopped himself down on the bed next to Janus, joining the cuddle pile which Virgil was already a part of.

"Logan, did something happen?" Octavian questioned softly as he too joined in. Logan pulled out the letter he had written for Virgil and held it out. Janus read it and was just barely containing his anger. The note was passed along between everyone. By the end of this, they all clutched Logan tightly while they sobbed. Some with anger and some with sorrow.

"You can stay here tonight lo." Janus whispered as he lay him down on Virgil's bed. Virgil snuggled up against his boyfriend and hugged him tightly. Worried that if he let go, he would lose his lover. Remus lay on his other side and lay his Morningstar next to him.
"I'll protect them JJ." Remus said with a mock salute. Janus chuckled as he kissed the children on the head and walked out of the room with Octavian following close behind.

All the sides went to bed that night and fell asleep. Well, everyone but Remus. The small boy stayed up most of the night, watching over the two other sides next to him. Then just as he was about to fall asleep, he heard a whisper in the dark.

"Remus?" it sounded like Roman. He stood up, unfortunately leaving his weapon on the bed. He followed the voice as he got to the window. Then he heard it from behind him, so he turned around.

Suddenly, he was jerked backwards as a hand was slapped over his mouth. He struggled against the hold on his body as a gag was shoved into his mouth. He tried to scream. To kick. But all that came out were muffled cries for help. He felt his hands being pulled together as the person whispered into his ear.

"Don't be scared kiddo. Don't you want to see your brother?" it was Patton. Why was he doing this? Patton spun the small boy around and grabbed his chin. Well tried. Remus, seeing an opportunity, flung himself backwards in and attempt to make a noise. Just because he was gagged didn't mean he couldn't try and get help.

His plan worked to an extent as he managed to make a loud thumping sound that woke up everyone in the house. Virgil grabbed Logan and pushed him behind him as he started to scream for Janus. Patton growled as he grabbed Remus and held him against his chest while he thrashed about. Patton's eyes flashes a red colour as Octavian ran into the room with his weapon while Janus rushed in behind him.

Patton turned Remus around and smirked.
Janus looked into the boy's eyes and saw raw fear had filled them. He tried to run towards him but was stopped by the blue strings wrapping around his ankles, causing him to fall. He looked up again to see Remus still thrashing around in the iron grip on his shoulders. He was crying.
"Take a good look into his eyes Deceit. Because you won't see then until you give me Logan back." and with that he sunk out with Remus. The four stood there in shock. How were they going to get him back?

Roman woke up to crying? That's weird. He thought Logan never cried. Being curious and slightly concerned, he walked towards the source of the noise. He walked down into the basement and he was not prepared for what he saw. He saw a boy who looked exactly like him locked in a cage. And he was tied up?!

He rushed over and tried to console the boy as he undid the restraints.

"Hey its alright. You'll be okay." he whispered through the bars as the boy stopped crying and looked at him. The boy's eyes lit up when he saw Roman.
"Roman?" he asked quietly. Said side nodded with a look of confusion on his face.

"Yes? May I ask who you are?" he asked back. The boys smile faltered at this.
"I-it's me Roro. Remus?" he stuttered. The nickname sounded familiar but he didn't know a Remus.
"I am still confused as to how you know my name." he said quietly as he sat back.
"It's me. Your twin brother. Do you not remember me?" Remus said quietly as he leaned against the bars as he grabbed Roman's hand.

Roman pulled away and stood up.
"I don't have any brothers. You're lying." he said quietly as he started to walk backwards.
"R-Ro it's me!" Remus shouted as he shook the bars, trying to get out.
"Please bro bro! Help me!" he screamed.
"YOU'RE LYING!" Roman screamed as he turned to leave.

"Please you can't leave me here! Please remember." Remus began to plead as he bashed his hands against the bars.
"I'm Remus! I'm your little brother!" he screamed as Roman began to make his way up the stairs.
"I taunt you and I tease you and I make your life miserable but you love me anyway!" Remus began to cry as he saw Roman continue up the stairs until he heard the door slam.
"You're everything I've ever wanted to be..." he mumbled as he slumped against the bars.

His own brother had forgotten him. He didn't care anymore. He had lost one of his best friends. He just hoped that Janus would come before Patton did.
