Synopsis~ Virgil is switching between dimensions and the one person who can help him, is locked in his room. Patton won't let anyone help due to his crush on the anxious side.

Virgil was sat on the couch with the others as it was movie night. Suddenly, the anxious side's head began to ache. Remus seemed to notice this as he lay the smaller side down with his head in his lap.

"You okay little spider?" Remus asked as he ran his fingers through Virgil's hair.
"My head really hurts Re." The smaller side muttered as he curled up slightly.
Patton saw what was happening and got really jealous. He should have been the one comforting the side. Not that thing.

"I'll go get you some painkillers Vee." Remus said as he lay Virgil down on the couch. As soon as Remus left the room, Patton quickly made an excuse and followed him from behind. He snapped his fingers so the first aid kit was in his room. He was going to need it.

"Watcha lookin for kiddo?" Patton asked putting on a false smile.
"The first aid kit. Do you know where it is Pat?" Remus replied as he turned to face the father figure. Patton nodded and took Remus' hand, leading him up to his room.
Remus walked in. He was about to turn around when he was hit over the head. Then everything when dark.

Patton dropped the metal pole and grabbed the first aid kit, getter the antiseptic and gauze. He cleaned and patched up the wound on Remus' head before carrying the unconscious side into his own room. He placed him on the bed and walked out, locking the door behind him. Remus' room was the farthest from the stairs, meaning even if he screamed, nobody would be able to hear him.

Patton skipped down the stairs with some painkillers and handed them to Virgil, who took them and lay down. The sides all said goodnight as they made their way to their own parts of the Mindscape.

~11pm~

Virgil woke up to see his room changing colour? He sat up and rubbed his eyes as he watched his room go from purple, to black and grey and then to a pastel purple. It repeated like that. He got up and went to get someone when he passed by his mirror. He looked into it and gasped.

His clothes, hair and eyes were changing colour too. He ran down the stairs screaming for everyone to come down. By the time everybody- other than Remus- showed up, he was pacing around the room, still switching. He realised that depending on what colour he was, his attitude seemed to change as well. When he was purple, he was his usual snarky, anxious self. When he was grey and black, he was more paranoid and he kept thinking of ways to over throw the light sides. But when he was pastel, he was worried and jumpy.

Janus walked downstairs rubbing his eyes.
"What time is it?"

The clock stopped ticking forever ago.

They stood there as Virgil stopped and stated at the others. He was stuck being black and grey for a moment before switching again.

"How long have you been up?"

Logan asked as he placed his glasses on his face.

I don't know

Virgil replied while he was a pastel colour. He remained like that again before he began to switch again.

"Can you get a hold of yourself and talk to us?" Roman asked angrily due to Virgil interrupting his beauty sleep.

I can't get a grip but I can't let go
There wasn't anything to hold onto though!

He tried to explain as he switched through all the colours.

He switched to purple as he stared at the others.

Why can't I see?

He shouted as his eyes started to flicker white.

All the colours that you see

He switched back to black as his eyes flashed all the side's colours.

Please can I be

Colourful and free?

He asked as he cycled through the three colours.

He snapped back to his usual purple.

WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON?
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE!

He screamed as Janus covered his mouth. Everyone but the deceitful side looked confused.

Why I'm switching faster than the channels on TV?

He asked as he continuously switched through the three of him.

I'm black

He growled as he turned to black and grey.

Then I'm white

He whimpered as he turned to his pastel self.

No something isn't right!

He called out as he turned back to his normal self.

My enemy's invisable
I don't know how to fight!

He shouted as he again went through all of them.

The trembling fear is more than I can take
When I'm up against the echo in the mirror.

He said as he shook uncontrollably.

ECHO!

He shouted as cycled through all the different colours again.

Janus grabbed Virgil and took him into his room. He tied the man down and stepped backwards. He turned to Roman.
"Go find Remus now!" he shouted. Roman ran off to find Remus.
"I don't think we need him kiddo. Maybe I should try talking to him." Patton said with a nervous look on his face.

"Patton, Virgil is switching through dimensions right now and the only way to save him is to get Remus. You talking to him won't do anything." Janus replied sternly. Virgil started to mumble. The sides turned to him as he started to speak louder.

I'm gonna burn my house down into and ugly black!

The paranoid side screamed as he turned into what Janus knew as Paranoia.

I'm gonna run away now and never look back!

The side said as he tried to pull on the restraints in an attempt to flee. Janus recognised this side as caution and worry.

He kept repeating through the two lines as he switched back and forth before finally, he was back to purple. He looked up at the sides as he kept switching. When he was Paranoia, he would laugh maniacly. When he was Anxiety, he would beg Janus to tell him what was happening. And when he was Caution/Worry he would cry and plead for them to let him go.

Remus burst through the door with the bandage still wrapped around his head. He ran over to the boy and immediately kissed him on the lips. The smaller side immediately stopped switching and went back to being anxiety again.

They undid the restraints as Remus pulled the anxious side into his arms.

Let's say Patton got a long ass lecture from Logan the next morning.

Sorry if this is bad but oh well.
