Janus shakily got to his feet as he dressed himself, covering as much of his skin as he could. He didn't want anyone to see.

As he walked down to breakfast, he heard the normal chatter happening amongst the other sides.
'Just act natural' he told himself.

As he sat down, he quickly started some witty bantar between himself and the emo of the group, noticing the nerd's lingering glances.

It was all fun and games till Thomas walked in, tired and seemingly agitated.
"What's wrong Thomas?" Janus asked.
Thomas grunted.
"Someone was being mean to me."
Janus rolled his eyes and handed Thomas some coffee which his host drank gratefully.

((just some wholesome shit to make up for later))

"Oh yeah! I wanted to make a short video of you singing today Janus. If that's okay of course." Thomas said. Janus thought for a moment. Should he? He hasn't sung in a while.

"Sure"

Once the camera was set up and Janus was ready, Thomas began the video. Logan was busy checking the audio while Janus pulled his clothes further down.

"And without further ado, I give you Janus!" Thomas shouted. The camera panned to Janus as the snake side flashed his natural smile.

"Hey guys. So this is an original song that I wrote about being used for your body." Thomas looked shocked, as did the other sides in the room, especially Remus.

Janus ignored them and started singing.

((get ya fucking tissues bitches))

"Body, let me see your body"

Janus used his powers to create a visual image of the lyrics he was singing.

There were two figures, one in yellow and the other in green. The one in yellow looked uncomfortable as the one in green touched them in intimate places.

"Take off all your makeup and your clothes"

The illusion started to become clearer and you now could make out the mustache on the green figure and the makeup covered scales of the yellow one.

The one in yellow pushed the green one away.

"Trust me, why don't you just trust me?"

The green asked with a smirk as he pulled him unbearably close.

"You're the only beauty, show me more"

The one in yellow shook their head and whimpered, pushing the other away. They tried to run when their arm was grabbed.

The green one pulled the other close to himself and held him there.

"You're not a dime a dozen"

The green one hissed. He lifted the others arm up and trailed his hand along the scales and skin.

"Oh your skin is golden."

The illusion became clearer, showing that the yellow ones skin had a golden brown hue.

"Let me show the whole damn world."

The green one hissed.

"You're one in a billion
The only thing you're missin'
Is some tape over that mouth"

The green one placed his hand over the smaller's mouth.

The illusion disappeared and Janus became visable again.

"Body, I'm more than my body!"

He was crying.

"You can pack your things up, buh bye, just go"

He was looking Remus square in the eye.

"Body, I'm more than my body!"

It was then the others realised what he was saying.

"Don't owe you a thing, no, not at all"

The snake shook his head.

"I'm not a toy to play with
Not just a sight to see"

He walked towards Remus.

"My mind is worth its weight in gold"

Logan noticed the dark marks on Janus' skin, almost blending in.

"I'm not a dime a dozen
I know I'm worth this, more than
You will ever know"

He pushed Remus back.

He grabbed his hat and gives, taking them off as well as his cape. Along his arms and neck were dark bruises and bite marks.

"Touch me, you just want to feel me
You just want to share me
You don't care at all!"

Janus was screaming.

"Trust you, why don't I just trust you?
You just want to use me!"

For too long he'd been abused.
Too long.

"Now I know"

He showed memories of all of the times he was raped and abused. All of the others gasping and turning to Remus in anger, disappointment and fury.

"Body, I'm more than my body
You will never get me, buh bye, just go!"

Janus screamed at Remus. Said side sunk out, leaving Janus to fall to his knees, sobbing.

"I'm more than!

My body!"

He grasped at his hair, trying desperately to ground himself.

"I'm more than!

His cries got quieter as he curled in on himself.

"You're more than

Your body"

The others said softly.

Your body"

Logan whispered, holding the snake side close.

"I'm more than
I'm more than
I'm more than..."

Janus' voice trembled as he fell asleep in Logan's arms, feeling the safest he's ever felt.

Maybe, just maybe

Things will be different.
