A Hippogriff and a dragon were flying towards Death Storm, an abandoned cliff that comes from an meadow. The yellow Hippogriff were looking happy to flying under the afternoon' s sunlight, but not the white dragon. He were looking tired and a little bit scared. When two friends meet that morning, Sun asked what happened to his chest and Moon' s reply was just a shy laugh and saying a stupid human attacked at him, which the Hippogriff believed instantly.
"Uuh, Moon?" he said, looking around cowardly. This place were scary. When they fly closer to side of the cliff, the ground start to lost it' s dark grasses and alive trees, turning into a dry, dusty and rocky ground. Some dead roots coming out from here and there. Two weak, rotten, brown trees just standing on the ground. Front of them were deep, very deep. And at the end, a tiny, dark blue river curling into it' s own long way. Beyond of the river, a loooong, bright meadow growing with a sea of rainbow flowers, short, yellow grasses and too many prey animals. And the air was very cold, very very cold for a dragon. Why would Moon come to here?
"Yeah? What happened?" Moon asked with a smile.
Sun suprised by that smile. "There is no reason to smile!" he trought. For himself, this foggy black cliff is the last place to smile. When he looked around, the fear were creeping inside of him. "Than why he is smiling now?" A lightning-fast trought entered into his mind: "Maybe Moon want to spend some time with me?" That was not a weird idea, but what was happening were weird.
These two friend' s routine were always same: Let' s fight at the first day, be angry at each other at the second day and let' s be friends again at the third day. Someday, those days are being longer someday. Like, they staying angry at each other six days and becoming friend at twelve days. Their past were like a storm. One day roaring and other day whispering. But no matter how heavy is the rain of tears, they always stayed as two good friends. When a fight happened, two or three weeks later they can be found as making jokes to each other and laughing like nothing happened. Also, they sometimes show beatifull places that they found to each other. Last month, he found a nice beach that filled with humans, mystic animals and dragons and two of them played in there a while. After than swimming and playing on the golden warm sand, they turned back at to the large forest.
So, maybe Moon want to show him a dark, scary, misty cliff and Sun can' t blame him. Sun stared at around again and convinced himself this place is good. Who wouldn' t came to a place that cold breeze always wanders around? That would be nice after than your back burned by the Summer sun.
He lifted his head to look at around again, realising he didn' t give any answer at his friend. Moon' s dark eyes were focused on yellow-white creature, paitently an answer with a weird shine on his eyes.
"Uuh, ım ımm." he cleared his throat awkwardly, putting a yellow claw over his mouth to gag his cough. "I, i just wondered why we are here. This place is not the brightest place in the world, even at the morning. Aand... This cliff is scary."
A sad look entered at Moon' s face but before his friend saw that, gray and white dragon changed his face to a happines. A false happines.
"Th-This place is very cool at the night. Sometimes when i bored, i come here." Moon landed at to the ground and tiny clouds of dust rised from the place. Sun stared at him awkwardly, than landed beside him.
"Why? There is nothing here to have fun," he said, looking around to see something that they can do. A ball, a small creek, twigs, a kite, an abandoned human toy, anything! He only saw few stones that he can count as a toy. Nothing else. "This place is empty! Don' t you see?" The Hippogriff cried, waving his claws.
Moon blowed smoke before holding his friend' s claws with his front talons to stop him from moving like a scorpion stabbed him with it' s tail. Sun shut his beak, looking at him with a confused stare.
"Sun, you don' t have to have or hold a toy to enjoy yourself. Sometimes, you can have fun with an empty room or silent cliff. It' s not about what you have, it' s about how you have." Moon let go of his wrists and Sun sit front of him. He raised his left talon and putted at his fluffy head to stroke him, like petting a cat. He closed his eyes and rested his head on the dragon' s gray and white chest, thinking the every good moment they spend. The beach times, the good views that they found and share with each other, the games that they play alone or with other creatures/kids, the run or flight races, tickle fights, pranks ect. And all of these moments happened in 6 years. 6 stormy and sunny years. 6 terrible and fantastic years.
"Ye-Yes, you' re right," Sun opened his purple eyes and looked at him. "I don' t care where i am, i can be happy at everywhere when i' m with you."
A bright blush shined on Moon' s face and he smiled shyly. "I' m glad to have a friend like you, Sun." he mumbled, looking at to the ground. Moon pulled his talon back from him and get up, walking closer to the cliff. Sun get up and followed him quickly. Moon stood on the edge of the cliff, staring at down.
He stopped on his behind with a smile on his face. "Hey, Moon."
The white dragon turned his head at his friend. "What Sun?"
Sun put his claw at his chest, smiling. "That was really nice."
Moon nodded with a numb face. Sun start to feel a wave of negative energy from him and start to feel weird because of the combination of sadness and fear. "Sun, can you repeat the two previous sentence?"
He put his claw at his beak to think. "That' s not the answer that i' m looking for. Give me the right answer Moon."
Even if he don' t want his question to stay unanswered, Sun gived his question an answer. Moon can reply at his question later. No need to rush, right?
Sun pulled his claw back and looked at him weirdly. "I don' t care where i am, i can be happy at everywhere when i' m with you."
A strong shine of sadness appeared on his eyes and he smiled sadly.
"Even at the Skies?"
Sun opened his beak to give an answer, but before he can speak Moon hit his tail at to the ground three times and jumped at Sun. The yellow-white male was very shocked because of the question, so if Moon would not pin him to the ground, the Hippogriff will contiune to stay at here, with an opened beak. But that didn' t happened. His head hit at to the ground and Sun closed his eyes with pain. A large cloud of dust rised and he start to cough.
"M-Moon!? W-What th-the-"
"Shhht!" he hissed, blowing hot wind at him. "I' m sending you to a better place, Sun. Don' t resist. P-Please." Wave of his sadness turned into a river of anxiety and sadness, and now, Sun know something is really wrong with his friend.
A big body from their left blocked the sunlight and caused a shadow fall on them. Sun turned his head at to the dark creature. That dragon -whoever are they- were really big and wearing a triangle shaped hat. But he could not tell her colour, because of the sun' s shadow.
He squirmed to escape from Moon' s talons, but his friend keep him still. What was happening? Why Moon do this to him? Who is this dragon? And what is she doing under the cliff? Or, is that dragon wounded? If she are wounded, he can help her. Really.
"I knew you will obey to me, Moon. I knew it!" She said with a weird hiss.
Moon lowered his head and said, "Of course," with a low voice. Sun trought he can drown in his river, because the sadness contiuned to come from Moon.
She flied toward them and landed at to the ground, letting the sunlight came on them again. Sun had to close his eyes, because of the flashing bright light. The ragged, small stones on the ground start to hurt his head. He felt like small needles stabbing at back of his head.
He opened his eyes and saw a light pink dragon with four wings front of them. She had four short horns and brown eyes. A dark pink witch hat were about to fall from her head and she were holding a thick, light coloured wand with her front talon. She fixed her hat with other talon and start to walk towards them.
"4 years, right Moon? Fantastic! I was waiting for a 7 month friend but you give me a 4 year friend. You really want to be my first follower, don' t you?" she looked at them, smirking.
"6 years," Moon corrected her, snarling.
The yellow and white Hippogriff looked at two of them. He was confused. What was going on? "If this is a joke, this is not Moon' s best. I mean, fish in the cream pie was better," he trought, remembering the 2 years ago' s joke. "But if this is not a joke, i didn' t like that."
Sun tried to push him with his claws, but Moon hold his claws pinned him to the ground.
"Moon, co-come on. Let me go. That was a good joke, i admint that. You, you and your friend got me. Re-Really. Now, let me go." He squirmed weakly, but Moon hold him stronger.
"Sun," he growled, turning his head at Sun and blowing hot air at him. "Shut up for once!"
Sun shut his beak up with horror and sadness. The female dragon stood front of them and looked at Sun with her shining brown eyes. "Mmm, a stupid Hippogriff," Than, she looked at Moon with a twisted grin. "You send to the Skies a nice gift, Moon. Well, not the best gift, but a good one. Good job."
Sun looked at her with angry and hurt eyes. "That was not very nice. How dare she can say "stupid" to me?" he trought. But unlike himself, Moon was very calm for a dragon that their best friend just called "stupid" by a stranger. He only looked at her like a coward dog that waiting an order from his owner.
Moon nodded and lowered his head. "No problem, Dragon Witch." he said silently.
Light pink dragon growled. "I' ll go and get my magic book from my cave. Hold him tight like you' re holding your boyfriend, Moon. I need his soul. We need his soul."
She glanced at the lightly blushing Moon, than Sun and turned her back at them. She opened her four wings and start to fly down. "If she is not trying to kill herself, her cave must be on one wall of the cliff." he trought, than turned his head back at his friend.
"Moon!" he whispered loud and fast as he could. "You do not need to do that! Let me go. Yes, she is a little bit cra- i mean weird, but that doesn' t mean you have to obey every word of her. Let' s, let' s go away from here. We can live without her."
The dappled dragon frowned and few puffs of smoke came from his nose. "But not me. I can' t live without her." His talon went to the fresh wound on his chest. "Because i promised with my life. Her words are my work."
He narrowed his shiny, purple eyes at him. He, he really don' t know what was happening in his head. So many troughts floating inside his mind, like a tribe of ants that found the most beatifull food pieces in the world; and those fast troughts spinning like a angry, strong hurricane in his mind. In any second, a trought coming on his mind, but before he can think about the idea, the trought were went and an another were coming. And with the pain of sharp stones on back of his head, these troughts are became really unbearable. "Why her life is more important than her' s? What was the promise? THEY MUST BE JOKING! What' s going on here?! Who is she and what she wants? Why you can' t live without psyc- mad dragon? IS THIS A JOKE?! THEY MUST BE JOKING!! Why me? If what she told is hurting you, why are you obeying her Moon? Why her cave is at the cliff? Moon said 'i can' t live without her' than touched at his scar, THAN he said 'because i promised with my life'. What is his scar' s real story? Why she had a hat and wand? IF THIS IS A JOKE, THIS IS NOT FUNNY!! They, they said they will send my soul to the Skies, didn' t they? Yes! I said i can be happy at everywhere when i' m with you, to Moon and he said, no, he asked to me if i can be happy when i went to the Skies. And, and, and, and... And that dragon said you send to the Skies a nice gift, Moon. She also said they need my soul. But why? Can' t i stay alive? And help them as alive? Why my soul is more important than my body? THIS IS A BAD JOKE!!"
With the help of truth, Moon' s dry smoke and the dragon' s sad, wild river, he tossed the "this is a joke" trought. He looked at this morning, starting at the time that he asked to Moon about his scar. And...
And he start to realize what' s happening here is more serious than he trought at the entire time. More serious and more darker, even under the sunlight.
The scar on Moon' s chest wasn' t made by a stupid human. That was made by THAT female. From the pale red colour of the scar, he can understand that the wound is fresh, which means she made that wound in this week. They made a deal and she attacked at Moon, creating that wound. Than, they - or she - decide to do all of this weird stuff. Sun is thinking that the pink female is the leader in the plan because of the how they talked with each other- needed a soul to give Skies, and making sure that nobody betrayal to each other. And Moon trought that he can sacrifice his best friend to impress her. The angry and fast hurricane in his head turned into the gentle blows of wind.
Her life was MORE important than Moon' s, because she is the leader in their plan. He is going to be killed. In the secret promise of their' s, that female should have to say something about loyalty and to show how loyal he is, Moon put his best friend' s life to front of her. He choose him, because the yellow-white Hippogriff is the only creature that stayed friend with Moon in 6 years. And the most shiny diamonds are always found in the deepest, darkest and most dangerous caves. So, Sun is the best victim to sacrifice her. Unfortunely, Moon were obeying to a dragon that can hurt him with the second, and he knew it! When they are meeting, the pink dragon did that scar at him so his poor friend can understand how powerfull she is. So, if Moon doesn' t want an another scar to the chest, he have to say "yes" at everything she says. She choose this place for herself so she can do any evil thing she wants without an eye staring at her. To the "why she had a hat and wand?" question, he only able to guess that these things are making her more cooler and mysterious at front of Moon. And who doesn' t want to look more cooler, more mysterious? That would be awsome! An respect and fame will come with the feeling of "i' m awsome". "If i would be a leader, i' ll wear some cool things too!" he trought. And for them, his soul were REALLY more important than his body. Sun can not be the part of what they are doing; because neither of them really needing to an extra beak/mouth to walk around, asking bunch of useless questions that will give them headache. They needed a follower that obey every gross word of them, without asking what they are doing and why they are doing, just like Moon. "Sun, go and kill that bunny!" "Of course, super duper important Dragon Witch!!" Slash slash, splash splash! No, he couldn' t do that. Only thing he can do is useless parties, stupid jokes and silly optimistic words that cheers nobody up. Even if he would be silent and obey at them, he could not change his personality and without his personality, he already would be a living shell that has no spirit to live. His spirit would left him at the first day and join to the other flying clouds on the sky... Even if Sun can see that he will be useless as an broken hawk egg at their team, maybe they didn' t even think about adding him to the their group, for whatever they are doing. "Because an pessimistic is more usefull than an optimistic for them," he trought, tearing up. "Get yourself together Sun and contiune to think about your questions." he trought to not be sad about anything. He doesn' t care about Moon, the bad pain on the back his head, the weather, the sounds or the female. All he cared became his own questions as he sink deeper in his mind.
Actually, there was only one question that he can answer: Why my soul is more important than my body? And he found the answer quick as a wind: Because the body can heal, but the soul can not heal. The body can forget the number of how much scar it has, but the soul always counts these scars. Because the body always forgets and heals itself, but the soul always remembers and suffers. And that' s what they need;
Something that can not heal itself.
Something that always stares at it' s scars and cries, instead of forgettimg them.
Something that unable to forget the past, and unable to heal itself.
Something that broken and weak.
Something that extremely coward.
Something that can not forget, nor forgive.
A voice came on his mind fastly: "I' m going to die!!"
The tiny tears start to appear in his eyes, shimmering like stars under the light. Moon flinched, like he wasn' t the one who still holding him at the ground or agreed to kill him just for a crazy dragon.
"Sun," he started. His voice was very soft. Sun swallowed roughly and stared at him like an angry eagle.
"Moon, shut up for once!"
He lowered his head, breathing slowly. "I' m sorry."
Sun contiuned to look at him like an eagle. "No, you can' t take my heart back just because you said you' re sorry. That' s not how the friendship works." he trought.
"Moon," he said. The white dragon looked at him. Sun' s hurt and angry eyes locked at his dark gray eyes. "I won' t be an ordinary cloud if you and she decide to kill me. I will be the storm cloud that throws you cold droplets, loud thunders and burning lightnings when you're flying at the sky. So watch out!"
Moon turned his head back at to the cliff to hide the falling single tear. "I will, don' t worry. I will."
Sun keep his angry stare at him. But before he could answer at the spotted dragon, they heard the loud movement of four wings. The light pink female' s giant body soared from the cliff that she flied down few minutes ago, but Sun felt like she flied there four hours ago. She were holding the wand with her one front talon and a dark brown book that has so many pages.
Moon swiftly wiped the tear before she could realize that he is crying. She throw the book towards the ground, right towards them and Sun saw a golden, curly wind symbol and a golden talon symbol upper of the wind symbol. She flied towards them and landed at the ground.
"My magic book," she said as she opening the book, turning the pages loudly. "My mother give me this book as a gift at my 98. birthday before being killed and i' m carrying this book since my teenage days. I hope she is at the Skies now, watching me and proud of me. And waiting the day that i will join at her as a big, fluffy puffy cloud." she said, lifting her head and looking at to the blue, bright sky.
Sun tried his best to not say aloud what he is thinking about her now. "I' m suspicious if you can you join to your mommy as a small, weak smoke."
When any living creature -any creature but plants and humans- died, their spirits go to a place that they can rest. If you are a good creature, your spirit will turn into a cloud that will stay at the sky until the eternity. But if you are a bad creature, your soul turn into a dark smoke that nobody remembers and disappears easily with a gentle blow of breeze. That was rule of the death.
She turned few pages too, looking at her golden and brown book as Moon keep holding the dusty Hippogriff at the ground. Last piece of his brainstorm fluttered in his mind: "Don' t stay at here like a stupid seagull and fight back. At least your death will be heroic if you fight back, like from a very cool movie or something."
He collected all of his shattered energy on his hind legs and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "For my future and for my life." he trought. Than hit at Moon' s underbelly with his strong hooves, using all of his broken power to escape. The scales on his underbelly were more softer and weaker than any other scale on his body, which caused him to feel the pain on his belly more. If Sun would hit at his legs or his shoulders or his back with the same power and same hooves, that wouldn' t hurt his shoulders with the same way that hurting his belly. Moon' s eyes became smaller as he yelped and jumped in pain, blowing the dark red flame from his mouth as he yelped. Sun leaped and hit at his chest with his head like a wild goat, as an attempt to escape. He blowed some fire more in pain with a wheeze as the all air get out from his lungs. Moon fall to to the ground without having any oxygen in his chest, struggling to breathe in dusty, rocky ground. "Breath that dust, Moon." he smirked, flying as a fast zigzag to escape any possible fire attack from his behind. He heard the female dragon' s growl some insults and words angrily.
Sun didn' t looked at his behind and only flied with his fading energy and tired stamina. And, he start to hear a weird noise: A faint, buzzing sound. Still not looking at his behind, Sun twisted to left side and a shiny, golden ball missed him. It fall on his right, blasting with a strong wave of light and heat. Sun felt the heat burn his feathers, tail and fur lightly. He heard the faint buzz again, the sound were sonorous. And a group of 20 small, golden balls hit at him from behind, blasting with fire and melting every piece of fur and feather that they found and turned them into a horrible black. He screamed in pain like a red-tailed hawk and lost his balance. He tried to gain his balance back, but he end up falling with smoke and blood as magical needles stab at him too.
His head and body rubbed against the short grass in a painfull, feather-burning way, as if the scorching balls aren' t enough for him. He grunted and struggled to get up as the sharp pain covered his body like a bloody cobweb.
The world start to spin like a carousel when he get up and he could not even walk normally. Sun take two crooked steps at the light green grass, then fell over on the ground again. The yellow and white Hippogriff saw a blurry tree on his right, which is looking more alive than the cliff' s itself. He can smell his own burnt flesh and feathers. That was disgusting! Maybe the most disgusting thing if he don' t count the dead, gray kitten with short legs. He was found her in a trashcan three years ago with a broken neck. The person that found the cat, just throw her to the trashcan like the kitten is not deserving a nice, small grave for herself. To make her soul rest better, Sun take her and burried her to front of a blooming, nice apple tree.
He turned his head to look at them, so he can see what they are doing, even if his sight is kinda blurry. He saw his old best friend and his leader coming closer.
He struggled to get up and start to crawl away from them. But he fall to the ground again with a new pain as something warm hit at one of his wings. He screeched in pain as few tears fall to the ground. Sun turned his head to look at his right wing and saw a large, long and black burn instead of his white feathers. And few feathers that the fire didn' t burn faded into a dark gray. "Well, this is not the most heroic death, but whatever," he trought in defeat, laying his head at the grass in sadness. "At least i was brave enough to fight back, even if i' m strong enough to fight back."
He felt somebody near of him, from his right. Sun closed his eyes. "They are here. I' m done! I' m dead! Goodbye world. Goodbye my body. Goodbye life. Goodb- Wait!"
The female dragon and Moon were coming from his BEHIND, not from his right, unless this is an another spell too. But he saw them coming from his behind, right? Then who is standing on his right side?
Sun opened his eyes and lifted his head from the grass. He looked back and yes; they are still on his behind, coming closer at every slow step. He swallowed. They knew that Sun could not go anywhere with these wounds and bleeding. Even if he tried to go, blood trail at the ground would scream at them like "Hey, he just passed from here and went there! Go and catch him!" Because of that, they weren' t rushing to get him.
Sun sniffed, than turned his head to right side to see who is standing on the shadow of a brown, dead tree. If that dragon didn' t have any purple patches, they would blend into the shadow. But their purple marks and brown eyes were stopping them to doing this. Their eyes closed as they walked back more and their colours get darker. Sun sighed, than made an attempt to get up. "Right! If i would you, i wouldn' t try to save me too! Because nobody can change the other creatures' destiny."
He finnaly stood on his feet, shaking and bleeding like there is no tomorrow. Actually Sun is an energetic Hippogriff, but these events wore out all of his energy. Now, the adrenaline is only thing that making him awake. The danger of being hurt and the fear of dying causing him to take two steps more. "I can' t escape from them," he trought, sadly and frightened. "I' m slower than a snail. And they are faster than a cheetah. I' m dead!" He felt they are on his behind and tried to move desperately with his hurting body. But...
She frowned at him, turned to Moon. "Woow! You really bring us a hard nut to crack, Moon. Good job!"
He turned his head back when he heard her. The female and male dragon standing on his behind. Moon lowered his head, clawing the grass and riping the few tufts of grass. "Thanks Dragon Witch."
She pointed him with her snout and Moon dashed towards Sun without any talking. Sun could not even made a move to escape as he leaped at himself. Actually, he WANTED to move to dodge his dash, but his legs, his wings and every little muscle betrayed to the bloody Hippogriff.
Moon leaped at his old friend to attack him. Sun just stood there, waiting for the attack.
He saw the purple dappled dragon get out from the tree' s shadow with a feral roar and dig their claws to the other dragon' s body and wing. The purple one hold his head with their one talon at the air and hit to the ground when they fell. Moon howled in pain and tried to kick their stomach. But the unknown dragon dodged his leg by jumping back. Moon tried to get up, but the younger dragon clawed his forehead and slapped him. Than throw a green fireball to his forehead. Dragon Witch growled, grasping her wand to make a spell. Sun can see the angry light on her eyes as she breathed smoke. Moon fall again and other dragon jumped to between Sun and the female dragon, breating smoke at her as a warning.
The pink dragon turned her head to look at her helper, who trying to get up in a big amount of shock. Than turned back at the other dragon and take one step at them. "I don' t know who you are, you stupid hatchling," She breathed smoke from her nose in anger before contiune to speak again. "But what' s happening here is none of your stupid bussines! Don' t jump to the everywhere before not knowing what is going on."
They raised theie head, staring at her and growled. "I do not need to know anything about what is happening here to save a creature' s life."
She smiled wickedly at him, holding the wand tighter on her talon. "Move, kid. Or i' ll roast you like a burnt cow meat. Go away."
He blowed smoke too, still staring at her like an angry bull.
"YOU go away! You' re the one who is dangerous for everyone."
"Me?!" The female lowered her head to look at him closer. Both dragons' eyes glowing in anger as they stared at each other. "I' m TRYING to make OUR world safer!"
He snorted, trying to not laugh, but an angry grin were already forming on his mouth. "Y-You?! You' re the o-one who making life dangerous for us!"
A flying stream of smoke came out from her nose. "Like how, you snakebrain? I' ll start an riot when the time comes. A good one." She take one step towards him.
"For what?!" He growled loudly. "And why?! We are happy at here! None of us in danger."
She sighed. "But we will, you idiot! Don' t you found videos in the Meganet? The animals and humans that beaten, getting hurt and being killed, just for other humans' joy. Didn' t you see them, young one?"
From the shock on his face, the answer was a big "no". She grinned, walking closer to black and purple dragon. Before he can made an attempt to get away, Dragon Witch grabbed other dragon' s jaws quickly with her left talon, shutting them down and making breathe fire impossible for him. "So, what we learned today?" She harshly pulled him closer by his snouth, causing him to groan in pain. "DO NOT JUMP IN EVENTS THAT YOU DON' T EVEN HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT!!" she yelled, holding her wand tightly with anger. He clawed her arm and snarled silently between their jaws.
Sun stayed in the middle of his troughts, once again. Should he run away, with his broken vision, fading energy and weak body and leave him to his fate, or try to save him from Dragon Witch' s claws with the same tired body? Also, would Moon - who is looking at the new dragon - turn back and try to chase him, or let him go? They was going to kill him, but if he just run away, would they contiune to their sacrifice with the black dragon? Or, maybe they can kill both of them to sacrifice to the Skies! He gulped. "Running is the best now, not the fighting back." he trought, shivering.
She lifted her wand and he looked at Dragon Witch weirdly. "Let me teach you a lesson then," She looked at the dragon with wild eyes. She start to say some words and the wand' s tip start to shine with a golden light. Sun' s eyes widened. "She was the one who throw me all those needles and warm balls." He closed his one eye because of the blood that flowing down from his forehead. His head start to ache.
(Note: If you' re reading this book/page aloud, you do not need to say these spell words loudly. Just say you can' t read it, because the lines are from an another language and skip. I know that the people from other countries having a bad time with our words and letters, especially ones with the dots, like "ü ö ş ç and ğ" and i have too many them here. And if you bored enough, you can translate it at the comments XD)
"Bedeni yakında çürüyecek olan yaratık,
Şimdi sihirli ruhunu Gökler' e veriyor!
İşlerimin daha iyi gitmesi için,
Kendi bedenini yerin derinliklerine yolluyor!
Sabahın rüzgarları gelsin,
Ve ruhunu dumanın bol olduğu yere atsın!
Güneş' in altında Gökler' e dua ediyorum,
Sizden daha aydınlık bir gelecek bekliyorum!"
The light on the tip grew bigger and brighter, than a yellow beam hit them on the fore head. Even if their jaws are closed by Dragon Witch, Sun can hear his loud, muffed screech. The light become very bright, so everyone but Dragon Witch had to close their eyes.
The light faded into a light green and Dragon Witch throw the dragon to her left, like he is a rotten cow bone. He rolled at the ground and coughed, a weak, green cloud came from their mouth, but not a green fire. Than the cloud' s colour turned into a pale green, than a white. Worst of all, his wings were disappeared from his back with no sign, like they never existed when he hatched. He stared at his white breath and wingless body with a shock and horror for a while, than turned back at Dragon Witch.
"What," He take a deep breath before contiuning to speak. "What did you done to me?! What did you just say?" He shouted, his voice becoming weirder than before.
"I send your magical soul to the Skies. Your magical dragon soul. You' re not that strong anymore, with a broken soul. Right?" Dragon Witch walked closer at him, grinning.
The purple dragon were walking back in fear as she walked closer.
"You' re hurt. Your soul is bleeding and heart is crying. Come here sweetie. I' ll end your pain now. Quickly. And fastly, if you let me." Her talons twitched to hurting him.
He growled, walking back tiredly.
"No!" He gasped. "Stay away from me, you, you, you cursed lizard!"
"Well, you' re the cursed lizard in here, so you have to die!" She snarled in anger and darted towards him. He rolled to left side, than clawed her shoulder. She turned to him and spit a gold-yellow fireball from her mouth to him. The smokes and yellow sparks came from his scales as the golden fireball hit at his face. He roared with pain, falling over Sun. He screeched, feeling the dragon' s weight on his body. But Sun could not even squirm under him. He sighed. "Well, at least i' m grateful that this dragon tried to defend me. He may ignore me and fly away, but he tried to safe me and ended with loosing his fire, half of his soul and wings, and being wounded by Dragon Witch." Sun really amazed by how brave he was when he attacked to Dragon Witch. He wished he could be brave as the black dragon. Brave enough to stand front of her to save himself and brave enough to fight with her. Even brave enough to speak to her or protect himself. He looked at Moon, who trying to stay calm. "Maybe that' s the reason of why he send me the death. I' m useless, i' m weak and i' m coward. And nobody needs me because of that."
Moon start walk towards them, but Dragon Witch looked at him and raised one talon towards Moon. "It' s okay, Moon. We can let them go."
Sun and the other male opened their eyes, listening them. Was that a joke? Or, is she decided to seek for an another victim to send to the Skies? Or...
"WHAAT?!" he roared, turning at Dragon Witch, opening his wings wide at the air. Few flickers of angry dark flame came out from his mouth as he roared at her. Moon stared at to Dragon Witch, and she looked at him coldly.
He blowed smoke from his nose in anger, his eyes were looking smokier and darker as the smoke came out and the dark red fire start to move in his soul.
"We already take the spirit that we need to give," she looked at them, angrily. "Even if we send the wrong spirit to the Skies. No need to contiune."
"But, but," he looked at her, suprised as the two wounded creature. "But they will say what happened! They will told everything to the every creature they found! We can' t just leave them here like a broken robot!"
She growled, rolling her eyes. "Moon, don' t be silly. I' d be sure about that."
"HOOWW?!!?"
Dragon Witch sighed, blowing a golden fire.
"Güneş' in altında Gökler' e dua ediyorum,
Sizden daha aydınlık bir gelecek bekliyorum," she said, saying the spell that turned the purple and black male into a weird, lizard-like creature. Sun shivered. Hearing that spell again was caused him to feel weird.
"Güneş' in altında Gökler' e dua ediyorum, I' m praying to the Skies under the Sun," she said, translating the words to their language. "Sizden daha aydınlık bir gelecek bekliyorum, I' m expecting a brighter future from you. Because of those spell words, i' m sure that our ancestors will help us no matter what. Don' t worry, Moon. And also," She looked at them with a smug smile. "I don' t think somebody will believe them. Thanks to my spell." she said, putting her talon to her chest proudly.
Moon looked at her with a smirk and she nodded at him. "They can go, Moon. They can do nothing to stop us, do because two of them weak as a dead lizard."
He groaned, turning his back to all of them. The purple male get up and stand dizzily, grabbing Sun' s wounded body and lifting him up. "L-Let' s go. Before, before they change their mind about letting us g-go," he breathed. As he told this to him, Sun' s vision blackened. He felt a big numbness in his body, making his unable to move. Only thing he can feel is his blood and the dragon' s talons that pushing him to walk. "Come on Sun, come on," he trought, trying to stay his mind awake. "Don' t pass out now. Just don' t. You have to run."
Sun tried his best to force his mind stay awake, thinking about what happened between Dragon Witch and Moon. Maybe they became friends unknown time ago and developed a bond with each other and because of that bond, he is unable to say no at her. Maybe because of the fear and getting hurt, but still he were still obeying her and probably will contiune to obey her every brutal word to do whatever she want to reach their goal.
The dragon pulled him closer to himself with his talons and wrapped one forearm around his body to help him walk. Sun' s breathing become slower as his vision become worser. A strong headache start to hit inside of his head. The yellow-white Hippogriff clenched his beak to resist the power of his pain and pass out. But half of his mind ignored the body' s struggled and Sun closed his eyes. He still can hear the breathing of the dragon, but his body went numb and he lost the touch with world.
#
He don' t have no idea when the black-purple dragon carried him down, to an alive place. Sun opened his eyes and looked around slowly, founding himself laying at the grass. His eyes give him a vision of a small meadow with few trees. Yeah, his sight were still blurry and black, but Sun still could recognize the way that he, they use to reach to the cliff that wounding his body. And his friendship with Moon.
He heard footsteps that crushing the grass softly from his left side and turned his head towards the voice. The dragon were coming closer to him with few leaves on his mouth. He stood front of him, than dropped the pile of herb front of him. He start to clean the dried blood from his body by using the wet cottons. Sun made a grunt sound whenever he closed a wound because of the burning pain, but didn' t say anything to him. After than the touch of chervil leaves, the dragon give him a roll of leaves with his talon. Sun leaned towards his talon and smelled them, than looked at him with suspicion.
"What are these?"
"Poppy seeds. To soothe your shock and ease the pain. Eat it."
Sun gulped, looking at the leaf rolls. "To ease the pain, and soothe the shock," he trought, moving his wings and feeling the light pain on his body. "To ease the pain. But, should i eat what he gives to me? I mean, these can be poisonous. But, there is nothing i can do. I can' t found any other way or place to heal my body and only creature that willing to help me is this dragon and i need to obey him," he sighed, pursing his lips. "If these seeds are able to heal me, i' ll be better. But if these are posionous, than i' ll die and my soul will join to the Skies. At least i will able to save myself from these pains. In both ways, the poppy seeds will save me from the pain. So, there is nothing i can do but eat them in this situation."
The Hippogriff unwrapped the leaves and take the dark, tiny seeds in his claws and bring to his beak, only to eat them. He start to chew the poppy seeds with a frown on face. A small smirk appeared on the dragon' s lips. "Don' t worry, you will be okay. I didn' t save you to kill you, or didn' t learned first-aid to hurt others."
Sun growled between his beaks, letting few crumbs fall from his mouth. "Yeh, dad maks sens," he said hoarsely to him, still chewing the seeds and crushing seeds with his beak. The black and purple creature walked closer to him and sit at the ground. Sun swallowed the seeds, looking at to him. Than he take an another leaf roll, which is a looking like a moss leaf and start to wrap his wounds until he wrapped most of them.
"You must be really brave to..." He paused to look at his mossy body. The dragon snarled, clawing the grass and Sun contiuned to talk. "To try to save me from their evil talons. Or bored enough to try this."
He snorted, looking at the grass blades on his talons. Than throw them at the ground. "Yeah, you can say that," he said, as a stream of sarcasm flowed from his words. "Because every bored creature jumps between a psycho dragon and a wounded Hippogriff. Yeah, that' s what a normal creature do at their free time. Hehehehe." he said, ending his words with a chuckle. Sun looked down.
"Ye-Yeah, you' re right." Sun said, looking at the tufts that he ripped. "But... I don' t know. That' s just crazy to me."
He smirked at the yellow-white Hippogriff. "Well, the world is already went crazy. So, why wouldn' t i be?"
"That' s makes sense too. Craziness equal craziness," Sun trought, grabbing a green grass piece and swirling it with his claw. "But, how did you come here. What were you doing around here?"
He shrugged with an empty stare. "I actually fell asleep at under that tree. And her madness woke me up." He growled, his empty stare turning into the anger.
An invisible golden needle stabbed to Sun' s heart, like that pink dragon still want his dead body. Before that two maniac came and spill Sun' s blood, black-purple dragon was sleeping calmly. And then, Dragon Witch hurt both of them. Very, very badly. Bad enough to broke their bodies, souls and minds. "He get hurt and lost his dragon magic, just to safe me. If he would stay at inside of the shadow, he wouldn' t get hurt and stay normal." Sun trought sadly. "If he would not do anything about this, i will be dead and he would not be wounded. Now, i have to live with scars that going to hurt my heart every morning i awake, and he have to live without his wings that going to hurt his pride towards other dragons."
"I don' t want to make you sad or frightened, but i' m having a problem. A bigger problem than not having wings." he said, causing Sun to turn back to the Earth. He looked at the dragon who grabbing a short grass blade that he ripped and lifting towards his face. Sun looked at him. What is the problem that worse than not able to fly anymore?
He take a soft, sad breath to the short piece of grass. A white air came from his mouth instead of fire and cowered the grass. A weird sound came as his breath cowered the grass blade. Like, his claws were crushing a hard snow in a nice Winter noon. The grass were looking paler than it' s original colour. The dragon sit down and grabbed the tiny grass with his talons gently, than broke it. Sun heard a thin sound, like he broke a crystal piece. He hold the two broken piece in his palms and showed him.
"Here," snarled with a frown. "Touch them."
Sun didn' t like what' s going on here, but he still lifted his claw and touched it. A big, cold wave traveled from his claw to arm and to arm to his full body, like a fast Winter wind in a snowing night. Sun shivered strongly and pulled his arm immadiately, frowning at the dragon. "This grass is very cold!!" He yelled, rubbing his arm with one claw. "What happened to your breath?!"
He grunted in anger and broke the cold grass pieces with his talons, than throw them to the ground. "My fire turned to the frost! And that' s very annoying!"
He looked at the pale green, shiny pieces in the grass. A line from Dragon Witch echoed in his mind. "I send your magical soul to the Skies. Your magical dragon soul. You' re not that strong anymore, with a broken soul." His eyes widened, than looked at the dragon.
"She cursed you. Her spell was going to kill me, but instead of that, she killed your dragon powers."
He looked at Sun too with fear. "So, are you saying that she done something to me?!" Before Sun could could answer him, he spoke again. "Well, that makes sense. She knows magic and with her spell, she can do anything she wants. And no-creature can stop her."
"If somebody stands on her way or disobeys her, she kills them. If she thinks that what she is doing right, she will not hesitate to kill or hurt everyone and everything she wants!" Sun said as the random images of hurt and dead animals and creatures she caused passing front of his eyes, like a comet.
"I' m not crying for my fire," he said, growling. "But a dragon that can' t fly is a dead dragon! Flying is what we done to travel faster and make us happier, calmer. What can i do if i only travel with walking?!"
Two of them sighed. Black-purple dragon came to Sun' s left side and lay down to the grass. He were looking anxious, tired and sad. Sun looked at him and brushed his burned wing at his back to relax him. He heard a snort from him and pulled his wing back. That was hard to tell if he is a dragon or not.
"Sorry again," he said, feeling guilty and angry at the same time. "HE COULD BE HIS NORMAL SELF IF I WASN' T AN IDIOT, OR SHE WOULDN' T BE A CRAZY WILD OWL!" he trought, frowning.
"Don' t be," he looked at Sun' s face. "You do not need to say sorry for my braveness. Or her crazy things."
"You' re right," Sun trought, nodding to him half-heartedly.
"Can i ask something? No, two thing actually." The dragon asked anxiously.
"Yes, what is this?"
The dragon take a deep breath. "Who is she?"
Sun shook his head. "I don' t know. Only thing i know is, her name is Dragon Witch and Moon' s her friend, or her helper, or something like that. I don' t know."
He snorted again. "Who want to be her friend or worse, her helper? That would be worse than not having wings or fire."
Sun shrugged. "Don' t ask me, i don' t know too. What is your other question?"
"What is your name and pronounce?"
"Why are you asking this?"
"So, i can told others in the forest that i save a Hippogriff named..." He paused, than shrugged, looking at him. "And they can believe me better."
"Fine," he trought and opened his beak again. "Sun," The black and purple dragon looked at him weirdly and Sun have to add more words to his words. "My name is Sun, he/him."
He smiled to him. "And i am Virgil, also he/him."
"Nice to meet you, Virgil," Sun said, smiling back to him.
"Nice to meet you too."
Two of them created a short silence between them before Sun talk again. "So, where are you living Virgil?"
"At the Shadowed Woods. You?"
"My egg came at the Cavecliff, but i' m living at the Rainbow Bringer now."
Virgil frowned. "Rainbow Bringer? That old castle at the Dovedews?" Sun nodded and he sighed. "Best place to live. You' re living right near of a meadow and i' m living at a dark, misty forest. What a luck!"
Sun didn' t say anything to this, but he agreed with him in his mind. Shadowed Woods weren' t the best place to live.
Virgil sighed, getting up. Than clawed the frozen pieces of grass. "Anyways, i need to go. I have a long time to travel and nobody wants to stay at Death Storm at night. Because cursed bats are living here and they will eat you alive."
He lifted Sun with his talon and Sun looked at him. "Thank you very much again. You saved my life and i won' t forget that Virgil. May the Skies brighten your path."
Virgil nodded, his brown eyes shining. "Thank you, Sun. May the Skies brighten your path too."
Two creatures separate their ways, one going to a larger and brighter meadow, and other is going to the village of heroes.
As six eyes watching them.
#
They were under the tree, standing on the shadow. A mouse lowered his knight helmet and looked at to Virgil named dragon.
"That' s what she done to them," he said lowly to other two. The black rat and the yellow snake looked at to Virgil too, than to the Hippogriff. The knight hold his sword tighter. "And she will have followers than before. She needs to be stopped! We are lucky that her helper is not a good secret keeper." he said with a smirk that unable to seen by other two.
"Even if they are a good one," The hooded snake narrowed his eyes, his tongue flickering out from his mouth. "They are terrible at spreading newsssss and searching for new followerssssss." he said, hissing and showing his four fangs. The two tiny venomous drop start to appear at his upper fang immadiately and because of that, he closed his mouth, than swallowed the venom in his mouth.
The knight nodded. "Yeah. And this is just makes our job easier."
"So," The rat interrupted them rudely and they looked at him with a frown. "Won' t we take a look at to the plan again? To see if any error in the plan," he added, looking at them anxiously. The black rat added quickly as other two hang their heads and sighed. "Not because i forgot it! Yeah, i-i do remember the plan! I' m asking because i want to learn the plan better."
The knight faceclawed to his face, mumbling. "Why my brother is stupid?" he trought. He don' t want to insult him, but if Remus still don' t remember the plan after two repeats, than he could have a problem in his brain.
"It' s easy Remusssss," The brindle cobra said, flickering his forked tongue in and out. Two of them looked at each other; Remus with a confused stare and Deceit with a bored stare, like somebody told him he can' t eat Remus and Roman at lunch. "You went to them distract them, at least the smaller dragon. I' ll bit them with my venomous fangs," He paused, only to open his mouth and show his teeth to Remus. "So they won' t be a problem for us. Than," He turned at Roman and pointed him with his tail. "Than this metal mouse attack at her - to the pink and bigger dragon - and after than thiss mass of madnessss, we' ll eat few shrews. That' s it!"
"Yes, but no," he said to Deceit as his brother hissing to the snake at background. "That' s the plan, but you won' t eat eat any of our cousins. Get it?"
Deceit lifted his tail to the air, looking sad. "But -"
"GET IT?!!"
He put his tail to the ground back and lowered his head with a sigh. "Fiiine!"
Roman narrowed his eyes at him, grateful that he can' t see his eyes because of his armor. Because if he would saw how the armored mouse' s eyes looking at the cobra, Deceit would try to attack Roman instead of her. "You can' t even lay a scale on them when i' m - or we' re, if i can trust to Remus - near of the shrews. Not at my or our watch!" Well, Deceit weren' t living with them, but that doesn' t mean he can swallow five rodent front of them when he felt hungry. Sometimes, they meet to walk around or chat together, and both brothers sometimes catching him looking at an another running prey animal. He can eat whatever he want at Shadowed Woods, but not front of them. And if he tries to, Roman will have replace those scales with scars.
"Soo, will we take action?" said Remus causing Roman turn back to the reality. His brother take a step forward, looking at to the place where the dragons needs to be. "Or will we contiune to talk here until they gone?" Deceit and Roman lifted their heads and looked at to the cliff too.
"No. If you understand what we gonna do now, we WILL take an action Remus."
"Yes!" He nearly shouted. His claws curled like the fist of a human and his green tail shivered. "I get it! Let' s scratch few scales now - few scales of dragons ovbiously," he added quickly as Deceit stared at him like he is going to eat a poisonous Remus at his dinner. Roman ignored how his brother looked at the snake back and take a deep breath.
"Is everyone ready to go?" They both nodded in silence.
"Good. Let' s start then!"
Remus and Roman start to walk at the grass in four claws. Deceit put his head to the grass and start to slither silently. Remus saw three twigs on the ground and put them on his jaw, carrying the small branches on his mouth. Roman sighed. Yes, his brother was weird, but in every day; every morning, every night, every noon and every hour, this "Remus is most weirdest rhodent in this world" trought become stronger in his mind because of his actions. Roman rolled his eyes, his sight were darker than normal because of his helmet' s shadow. "Anyways, i need to give attention at THEM, not HIM. If they be succesful with their bad plan, we will be doomed." Actually, Roman doesn' t have any idea what was the big, pink dragon' s plan. He, Deceit and Remus only know that she is going to kidnap childeren. But they don' t know the deeper information of her, like what they going to do with those childeren or why they kidnaping them.
"Well, that doesn' t matter," he shrugged, contiuned to crawl at the ground as he thinking, crushing the grass with his claws. "She is going kidnap childeren and i don' t care why or when they going to. We have to stop them."
Three creatures actually trought about if was that a weird joke, or the warning of the real kidnappers. The brothers voted for the real kidnappers as Deceit voted for a weird joke. After than a long conversation, they decide to go and check what' s going on. If this is really a weird joke, they will say sorry to her and turn back all the way down, growling each other - mostly Deceit to the brothers about how they trying to be hero of the day, like a stupid worm and the brothers to Deceit how they can' t ignore a warning that may can be a serious problem for everyone at the future - but if this is not a joke, Roman can' t see any reason to sit and sleep as she will develop her plan with her other followers. You may be a rapist, or a killer, or both but somewhere in the world, an idiot will STILL support you with a blind cheer and endless money. Before she can get that support, they must stop her.
And that' s what they going to do now.
Deceit lifted his head, stopping moving. "Here they are," he said as other two stopped walking too. A big, light pink dragon were talking with a smaller dragon who has a wound on his chest. A ridiculous hat that has two shades of pink dangling on her head and she were holding a wand on her one talon.
"I trought you will not going to do that," she said with a stream sarcasm on her voice. The younger one ducked their head and gulped.
"But i did, didn' t i?" They said, looking at to the ground.
Roman narrowed his eyes. "I can see who is the boss here, even with a simple look," He flickered his tail at the short grass silently as he trought. "She is the one that gives orders and yells around whenever she want. And others will obey her. Because they are idiot enough to listen her."
He breathed angrily. The brave mouse never understand how bad people has so many followers and support on their back. Maybe she is giving them drugs or something like that so they can' t think normally - they saw few examples of this at the past like Demagon; a dragon who were putting some drugs to the meals of her followers or Tara, the lion who forcing her fans and followers to stay in a room that always has toxic gas in it, so they can' t think normal when they woke up and kill every human they saw, or Shotgun, a big spider who only hunts poisonous animals and not only eats harmful things that can kill a Hydra easily, but also making sure that his fans are eating these as well. Shoutgun was the first famous crinimal that caught by Police Force - But, the small dragon weren' t looking weird or high. "Their words were silent, yeah, but i could not catch any weirdness in their voice or the words that they choose. Their smell and body is normal too. I never smelled a dragon in my life, but i think the burnt fish smell is normal for them. Their looking..." He paused his troughts to look at him better. "This that normal to have THAT type of scar on your chest when you take drug? I don' t know," He sighed, shaking his head. "I don' t feel the drug users weirdness too. Than, that means their mind and body is clear. But why a sane creature decide to follow her?! I don' t get it!"
She smiled at them and lifted her talon, causing Roman to turn to the reality. The short mouse trought she is going to hit them, but the pink dragon only pet their head, like she is the owner of a dog. "Yeah, you did. Great job," She pulled her talon back. The gray-white dragon lowered their head and kicked a small rock with their claw, mumbling something under their breath. The big dragon frowned, than grabbed their lower jaw and lifted their head to make them look at herself.
"Don' t say that!" She growled loudly as she forced them to look at herself. "If you really care about him, you can be happy because he is alive! If that idiot just stayed at under the tree did nothing, that VERY important friend of yours would be dead!" She stopped talking, only to breathe. "Anyways, let' s go to Understorm." She said, leaving them and turning back to the cliff.
"Understorm?" They lifted their head in suprise.
"Yeah. I give that name to the caves under the Death Storm. And those caves connects to other every cave in Goronatha." She grabbed one horn of them and pulled them towards the cliff. "Come on, Moon. Let' s go. I' ll show you where you can stay and where you can keep the childeren as hostage. Than, i' ll tell you why i am doing all of these."
Moon growled something under their breath that three friends couldn' t hear, maybe even the female dragon. Even if she heard them, she didn' t say anything as an answer, only contiuned to pull them.
"It' s time." Roman whispered to others. "And Remus, you do not need to distract them."
He looked like a confused puppy, but he replied with silent nod.
They start to walk towards the dragons fastly. The young one' s ears twitched and they lifted their head. "He heard us, we need to be faster!" he whispered and their walk turned into running.
First Moon, than the female dragon turned their heads to the running animal team.
She walked towards them and lifted her head.
"I didn' t understand why parents let their little childeren play at a cliff, but fine, whatever." She blowed some smoke from her nose towards them. "Go away now."
"No!" He take a step towards her, holding his sword tightly. "Tell me why you want to kidnap childeren?" Roman shouted at her. One part of his mind were shouting loudy and desperately. "Please tell us this is nothing but a joke! Please tell us this is not true!" Yes, he wanted to be a hero, that was true but he also don' t want to look at a future kidnapper. But his hopes were about to broke and shatter, like the glass of crashing car.
"Because i need them. I need them for myself! And for others! For everyone, every creature in Goronartha!!" She shouted too and the pieces of Roman' s broken hope fell as the shout become silenter. "That' s not a bad joke," The brave side of his mind spoke. "That' s true. SHE IS GOING TO KIDNAP CHILDEREN!"
"You can' t do that!" Remus came to right side of his brother. Deceit nodded, slithering towards Roman' s left.
"Why not?" The gray-white dragon smiled weirdly. Deceit lifted the half of his body and opened his hood to scare them. Remus grabbed the twigs that he carried in all way. He broke them on the middle with a snap sound. Roman felt stupid and proud at the same time; 'Why i never trought about turning twigs into the weapons?' as for his stupidity and 'MY brother trought about turning a normal garden trash into two sharp knives. Holy breezes!" as his proundness. "His weird ideas worked at the first time!" Roman looked at his brother and smiled at him, even if he didn' t saw that. Than turned back to the dragons.
"Because thiss issss not right, you idiot!" Deceit hissed angrily as Remus turned the sharp sides of the small, broken branchs to the dragons.
"Yeah! You just can' t kidnap random people just because of your stupid fear!" Roman hold his sword very tight, so his paw start to hurt a little. But he didn' t care.
"Idiot fear, huh?" She sighed and shake her head, few flickers of yellow fire came out from her mouth. Than she turned to the younger dragon with a bored expression. "That' s what happens when you jump into a random conversation. I' m sure his only information is from YouTube Kids and YouTube Teens."
"YouTube?!" Roman trought, taking a deep breath from his nose to calm himself down. "ARE YOU THINKING WE ARE IDIOTS?!!"
"Yeah, you' re right," Deceit smiled mockingly. "Because your sssssshort friend is really really bad at founding new followersss or telling other creaturessssssss about what you are doing."
She looked at the gray and white dragon with a frown shortly, then looked at them back. She were looking angry and tired at the same time. The light pink female pointed the three warriors with her nose. "Wanna attack?"
"Yeah," They grinned evilly.
"Do it then," She swirled the wand on her talons, looking at her clear coloured stick. "I want to see what you can do for me. Prove your royalty to me and our plan."
They take a deep breath and walked towards them, growling like a wounded bear. Roman lifted his chin and looked at the dragon resolutely. "If that big dragon want to fight, he WILL get what he wants!" he trought. But before he could move, Remus ran towards the dragon with with a battle cry. "RAAAAAHHH!" They paused, looking suprised but they took a deep breath and blowed a large, dark red flame at the leaping, black and green coloured big mouse. And Remus' body disappeared in the fire.
Roman' s ears dropped, looking at the fire cloud with shock. Deceit' s hood opened wider in anger. "Remus just ran to his death." he trought. He saw the anger and pride on the light pink dragon' s face. "Yeah, good job Moon. Now burn the other - OH MY SKIES!" She yelled as a black, four armed figure get out from the flame and launched himself to the Moon. They squealed in suprise and tried to walk backwards. But Remus were faster than them. Because of Moon' s fire, the broken twigs turned into two sharp, burning spears. And Remus didn' t hesitate to stab the dragon with them.
The dragon roared in pain as the short spears stabbed to their chest and shoulder with a bad sound, similar to when a human cooked a meet at an iron thing. They clawed Remus' paws and the twigs, stumbling backwards in shock and pain but Remus gritted his teeth as their talons scratched his paws and stabbed the twigs deeper in their body. The female were in shock too, she just stared at him with wide eyes. She clearly wasn' t expecting this from a mice like him. Roman grinned and poked Deceit' s tail with his own tail. "Come on, it' s our time Deceit." he said lowly to the snake and they ran towards the light pink, ridiculous dragon. Deceit leaped at her to bite her, but she turned back at the same time and hit at his open mouth with a talon. The yellow snake' s painful hiss muffled as he fell to the ground with a thud. He could hear Remus' angry, wild squeaks as his brother clawing the young dragon. Deceit tried to get up as Roman jumped towards her. She take a breath to burn the knight down. Deceit get up quickly and tried to strike again, but she hold him by his hood, than throw him to her right side strongly. Roman trought he is going to do it. He trought he is going to give her a damage, like the any knight can do to their enemy dragon. What he didn' t trought is, Remus' flying towards him.
As he leaped to the female, his brother' s grip on the gray-white dragon slipped away and they throw Remus with all of their power towards the nearest attacker to them, which is Roman. Two brothers hit at each other at the air. They squeaked, Remus in pain and gasp and Roman is suprise. Roman didn' t felt any pain, thanks to his armor but the same armor that protects him, hurt Remus more. If his brother had no armor, the rat' s body was going to hit at his soft fur. But now, Remus hit his chest harshly because of the armor. The knight heard his brother' s loud gasp, loosing all the air in his lungs. They fell to the ground and on Deceit' s body. He let out a low and tired hiss because of the pain. Roman tried to get up, but Remus' body seemed more heavier than it has to be and he fell on Deceit again. The snake under him snarled again, but more silenter than before. Roman wheezed, trying to get up again. He dug his claws into the ground and start to pull himself out from where he stuck.
Her cold gaze shifted to the dragon that Remus scratched wildly. "Are you okay, Moon?"
They lifted one forearm and looked at the black scratchs. "No, i' m not! That scratchs hurts too much!" They answered with a loud growl.
"I' ll heal them later," she said, looking at the young dragon' s wounds. "But now, i have to deal with those idiots." With a twisted smile, she turned and spit a golden fireball to Roman. Roman saw it, but there was nothing to. He doesn' t have any idea where was his sword and his brother was lying on him.
He immadiately jolted forward at four claws as the heavy figure get off from him. A low blast sound came and the fireball flew above him, going to the large cliff at their - and Death Storm' s - behind. The shiny ball went to the Rock Crack and hit to the ragged stones with a louder blast. The rocks covered with yellow flames and burned everything it found before fading away. Few screechs start to came from the Rock Crack' s small hollows. The sounds of the sleeping cursed bats that get hurt or scared by the sudden flames, sound and blast. Roman turned his behind and saw Remus dodging the fireballs of Dragon Witch to protect his brother and friend, using his brother' s sword and his claws. And Deceit were up to his feet - or, his scales - fighting with the gray-white dragon, dodging every talon of their' s and leaning swiftly to bite them.
Roman get up to help his brother. He rushed towards the big dragon, ignoring his size and leaped towards her. She saw him and turned to claw him, lifting her talon, but Remus stabbed the sword into her chest and her action cut by her own hurt roar. Roman landed on her one right wing. He hold the skin with his claws and bit her wing. Remus pulled the sword back to stab her again, but she swiftly turned and hit at to the rat with her tail. Remus snarled and a soft thud came out. Roman couldn' t see what just happened to his brother because of his place, but he trought Dragon Witch hit at his claws and causing to the sword fall.
She turned around herself fastly like a crazy, tail-chasing dog, beating her wings fastly and swinging her tail around. Roman shut his eyes tightly because of his spinning, rising falling world and hold her wing stronger. "Bat bite!" he trought, stabbing his back claws into the inside of her wing to stay on her wing. If he fall, he will be an easy prey for her. No matter what happens to him, he could not let it go. He heard the dragon' s angry snarl and shouted as loud as he could: "REMUS! GO AND HELP TO DECEIT! I' LL BE OKAY!" He only heard a squeak as his answer.
The brave - and unlucky - knight opened his one eye to see what is happening. He knew she were still spinning by the sharp, swirling wind around himself, but he both suprised, both shocked when he saw a light pink head darting to him to bite. Thanks to Skies, she lifted her wings at the same time and her mouth meet with dead air. She tried to hit him with her talon, but accidently clawed her own wing. She spit a fireball, but her fireball went to a random place instead of Roman. He knew the female dragon were hurting herself instead of him, but that doesn' t mean she or her fireballs always going to miss him. Roman felt like he was in a extremely fast carousel that trying to kill him instead of entertaining him. His one claw slipped, almost causing him to fall, but Roman hold her wing tighter with four claws, stabbing his nails deeper in her skin.
He heard an angry growl, than felt she is spinning slower than before. He smiled weakly. "Finally, i defeated you!" He trought. Probaby, her vision were spinning like Roman' s. The wild dragon walked dizzily before lifting her head and looking at to the sky. Roman trought she is going to fall to the ground and say she is defeated by strong Roman. Than she will promise to them she won' t do anything bad. And they will return to Shadowed Woods and fall asleep on a branch. He trought she is going to fall, not rise.
She leaped to the sky and start to soar like a scared crow. Roman squealed, using his every power to stay on her not moving wing. Dragon Witch wasn' t using lower two wings, only upper two to fly as her lower wings were dangling like broken. She start to fly to Rock Crack in the sky and start to spin above the large cliff. Roman saw some spiders coming closer towards them and waiting for his fall to eat him. Males opened their wings and screeched to their prey, showing their thick fangs. Roman felt a scale under his claws move and his lungs troubled with breathing. He knew he can' t hold the wing forever and his fear start to rise in his heart. If he fall, the spiders will poison and eat him. He looked around to see a way he can escape, knowing she won' t stop until she rid off the rodent from herself. And he realized something...
If his claws slip because of her speed, he will fall into somewhere he don' t want to and probably end up as dead or heavily wounded. But if he aim to the Death Storm and leave himself, her speed and power will throw him to the Death Storm. Yes! He is going to use the dragon as his second chance to fight.
He clenched his jaws as the wind around him start to help to the female by tugging his ears and tail. He prepared himself to the big throw as her spin become faster and stronger. Not now, not now, not now, not now...
Roman ripped her scale with his claws as he throw himself with a great power that coming from a dragon wing. Wind around his body contiuned to pull him and he teared up by the wind' s sharp, cold touch. He saw Remus is still fighting with them with his claws and sword, and Deceit lying on the ground without moving. He looked at the big, light pink, circle-shaped scale on his claws, which is shining like a rose-coloured diamond in his claws. He throw it towards the wounded dragon like a ninja star and the scale hit to their head. They snarled in pain, rubbing the side of their head with one talon. And the snarl turned to a louder growl as Roman fall on them like a falcon on the hunt.
(Dragon Witch throwing Roman scene remind me Dizzytron from a MLP episode, Flying In Paris and i wanted to put this video here.)
They turned to bite Roman, but Remus hit at their neck with the sword hard as he could. They breathed fire to the air before blacking out on the dirt. Two brothers looked at each other.
"Thanks... Remus," he said, breathing.
"No problem Roman!" The rat said with a large grin as he moved around him to take the scale and give the sword to it' s owner. "What you just done is crazy - brave!"
He laughed softly, "Thanks," than pointed the snake. "What happened to Deceit?"
"They knocked him out," He said, turning back to see Deceit. "Like i did to them!"
Big brother moved his armored head to say "let' s go" to him and both of them walked at Deceit.
Remus crouched beside him. "Deceiit!" He growled, poking his hood with a claw. "Deceit wake up!"
They heard a faint hiss from him, but Remus contiuned to poke his head and hood until he opened his eyes. "W-Wha -" His mumble stopped when he saw Roman. "Roman! Are you aware that you just stared at the death?! You snail-brain, you scared us too much!" He said with a false anger in his voice. The snake opened his hood and flickered his tail towards him.
"Yeah, i am," he said with a shy laugh as Deceit frowning at him. "Sorry guys."
Remus and Roman' s ears perked up as they heard a movement behind them and they turned back, only to found Dragon Witch checking the young dragon with her talon. She snarled in anger and blowed smoke from her nose. Roman give a proud smile to her, even if she can' t see that. They, two tall mice and one snake just defeated a dragon! And they were going to change the number one to two.
Dragon Witch' s head turned at them angrily. "Okay, that was really sweet and nice. Very very good," she said, grabbing the wand and taking few steps towards them. "You guys are causing him to pass out, how fantastic! Woov, oh my Skies!" She snarled with sarcasm and anger. "But, you know, we have to be equal. Three versus one is not fair."
"What you gonna do about that?" Roman asked to her bravely. "Are you going to call your friends or something?"
She lifted her head and smiled at them like a evil fox. "No, of course not! I' m not coward, kid. I' m just going to do a pro gamer move." Before they can understand, Dragon Witch lifted her wand and start to say something. But Roman could not understand what she said because of her low voice. The wand' s tip flashed with a golden light and blinded all of them. Roman bring his empty paw to his helmet. He felt like he is looking into the sun as their eyes burned by the strong light. He heard others' growl too. They were blind and because of that, none of them saw the golden ball that flying towards them. And when they saw it, that was too late.
Remus were the first one that sees the ball. He grabbed Roman' s shoulders and pushed him his behind, towards Deceit. The ball hit to the Remus and splashed it' s juices towards Roman and Janus. He heard Remus' scream before the yellow juice striked to his helmet' s eyes and Deceit' s face. Roman closed his own eyes to protect them, but he could not do anything to protect his pelt from the toxic thing as it start to flow down towards every piece of his body. "Holy shit!!" he trought in shock and pain. The yellow thing... It felt like weakest acid in the world, melting most of his bristles and burning his body, but not it didn' t kill him. Just causing his body to feel high pain as the liquid drip at the ground with pieces of his burned bristles from his burning legs. Roman teared up, shivering, and heard Deceit' s loud, strong hiss blocking Remus' swears. He weakly turned to look, only to saw the scales on left side of his face melting and dripping to the ground. His stomach twisted painfully as he saw the green skull. Roman quickly turned back to not see his melting face anymore and saw an another cursed thing: His brother. To be more clear and longer, his screaming brother' s fading colours. Remus' arms and tail were twitching as his black fur turning into a gray, his ears and tail to a pale green. Roman saw the holes start to appear on Remus' ears and his own ears start to itch very very badly, bad enough to hurt his head. Roman start to shake in pain and heat as Remus fell to the ground, crying.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DONE TO US, YOU BITCH?!!?" Remus shouted at the dragon who watching them with proud.
"Spell, honey," she answered with a calm venom in her voice, like her chest weren' t bleeding badly. "And it looks very powerful, if you ask me." She chuckled, than start to say something that Roman didn' t give a shit about. He heard Remus and Deceit' s gasp and looked at Dragon Bitch. His heard sinked painfully as he saw an another ball floating front of her wand.
"So, what are all of you thinking now?" She asked them with a deadly calmness. "Do you want to feel an another ball on your bodies, or running away and leaving us alone before i melt you guys down?"
Roman knew they can' t let her go like that, but they were too tired and hurt. He don' t have any idea if they even can turn back to home. "I swear you' ll pay that," he trought as he waddled towards Remus and wrapped his arms around his warm body.
"Rem, let's go," he said softly. Remus squealed and sobbed, thrashing about but Roman didn' t let him go. He pulled his brother to the alive part of the cliff as he shouted every insult and weird, bad word he knew with pain, anger and sadness.
"YOU LITTLE BITCH! DRAGON BITCH! I HOPE YOU BURN YOURSELF WİTH THAT WAND ALIVE! I HOPE YOU' LL CHOKE YOURSELF WİTH A DICK WHEN YOU HAVİNG SEX WİTH A TİGER AND DİE!!"
"Hmm, a weird idea. I might try that." She smirked, obviously not taking him serious. This dueled his emotions and tears more.
"I HOPE A COMET FALL HERE AND CRUSH YOU AND KILL YOU! I HOPE CURSED BATS EAT YOU ALİVE! I HOPE -"
His brother contiuned to swearing like crazy as Dragon Witch turned to the younger dragon, ignoring Remus. And Roman contiuned to pull Remus, ignoring his hurting ears. He walked backwards as Deceit crawled on the ground. They traveled like that for a while until Deceit lift his head and hissing at anger to the faded rat. He raised his tail too, and curled it' s tip. Remus' one paw moved without his control and closed his mouth. Remus sobbed into his palm and contiuned to cry silently. Roman breathed tiredly, than let him go. Remus collapsed to the ground and cried louder for few minutes. Roman sit beside him and start to pet his sticky fur until he calmed down.
"B-B-Bitch," he said faintly as his cries become silenter.
"Remus," Roman said, trying his best to not cry with him. "Thank you."
His brother smiles weakly at him. "N-No problem, Princey. I' ll do anything to protect my friends and family."
Deceit stroked his tail with his own tail. "How are you feeling, Remus?" he said, breathing slowly because of his fear.
"Like a shit. Like a high shit." He shook his head and lifted his claw. Roman quickly grabbed the claw with his paws and pulled to himself.
"I got you, Rem!" He said. "I got you!" Deceit get on his back and pushed him with his head. With two creature' s power, poor rat finnaly get on his feet. His knees start to shake as he walked slowly. Roman walked slow like him as could as possible as he hold his brother' s arm, knowing he will not able to catch him. The rat breathed sharply. "I feel... Bad," he mumbled. Roman looked at him with worried eyes. "You just said that -"
"No!! I mean, my vision is spinning like a falling place and my body is getting number. And i feel tired, very tired." His eyes closed halfly.
"Please try to stay awake Remus." said Deceit as he tried his best to force him to walk.
"Ugh! Where are we even going?"
"Uuh," Roman looked at him. "To the Misted Dirt? Did you seriously forget our home, Remus?"
She shook his head, trying his best to stay awake. "No, no," he mumbled. "My body... I can' t go here, i can' t take that. Can' t we go a better and shorter place?"
Roman trought to a better and shorter way to found a place that they can heal and recover, but his mind only showed him an empty map of Goronartha. "Deceit?" He turned his head to the snake, who trying his best to keep his cool.
"What?!" His voice came from Remus' back.
"I need the map in your mind." he said, flickering his tail. "Where we can rest? With peace, please!" He added the last line after few seconds.
Deceit hissed. "If you don' t trust me, why are you even asking?"
Roman were about to answer, but Remus spoke before him. "Deceit... Do what he says," he mumbled.
"Fiiine!" He feel silent in few minutes, than spoke again. "Brave Village and Greatgate at our west, and Stone Village at the opposite side." He paused, before talking again. "Let' s not go to Stone Village."
"Why?" Roman asked, curling his tail.
He saw Deceit' s hood opened widely before closing again. "Other snakes won' t be happy if they saw me helping to their prey. And kill you two."
Roman shivered and the weak burn feeling in his fur wake up again to suffer him more. "Than, are we going to Brave Village?"
"N-No..." Remus said faintly. "They won' t, help..."
"Remus' right!" Deceit said. "That village is for the important heroes of country, not for silly animals! They will kick our tail!"
"G-Greatgate..." Remus whimpered. Roman grabbed his tail and give to his claws.
"Remus!" he shouted. "Squeeze my tail, so your mind will stay awake, at least a little bit! Do it!"
"But..."
"Do it Remus!" He grabbed his brother' s tail and squeezed it hard, at least hard as he could since his mind was about to shut itself down. Roman start to walk again, pulling his brother with a great power.
His tail, his feet and hind legs were hurting extremely! But he ignored the pain and contiuned to pull him. Deceit came to his side and slithered on his left. They contiuned to walk like this for a while, until Deceit' s ete catch something weird.
He spotted crawling at the grass and lifted his body to having the same size as Roman. "Hey," he said, pointing a purple and black coloured figure with his tail. "What is this?"
They all stopped, only to look at the body. A black dragon with purple patches on his scales and no wings. Roman gasped, remembering the poor male' s name. "Virgil!" Remus let his brother' s tail go and Roman rushed to the dragon. He crouched front of him and relaxed as he saw his rising and falling chest. He poked him twice and smiles as he heard his grunt. "He is alive!" he trought. "I might can' t do anything about the childeren that going to kidnap, but i can save the others." He grabbed the dragon' s body and suprised by how skinny and light he is. He was looking more heavier when they at the tree!
"What the rot are you doing?!" Deceit hissed angrily.
Roman lifted the poor dragon with his claws, than turned to Deceit. "Saving him," he answered.
Deceit looked at him with shock for few seconds. "Are you kidding? We have to deal with a tired rat and are you saying we HAVE to take care of a dragon?!?!"
Roman pointed the dark sky with his tail. "The night is already come!" he said. "If we leave him here, alone by himself, he will die Deceit!" Deceit flinched at the last line. "We have to do something right here!!"
"Fine, fine! Whatever!!" Janus flickered his tongue. "Let' s just go and rest! I' m tired!!!"
They walked at the darkening place. Roman ignored the strong pain on his every muscle and contiuned to carry Virg. He breathed in and out, determined to not black out or do something like that until they arrive to a safe place. The fire was burning wildly in his soul to get revenge. "I swear to Skies," he trought, trying to fight with pain and tiredness in his body. "I' ll get my revenge from you, Dragon Witch. I' ll get my revenge because you hurt me, Sun, Virgil, Roman, Deceit and Remus and you' ll hurt more at the future. Today, we defeated by you, but i' ll return. I' ll return with more friends and end your story! You' ll just wait..."
