Has it been a year. Yup.
Im- okay
Yeah. I had logged off wattpad for quiet a..long while now. Taking care of stuff irl.
Am I fully back-? No.
Am I gonna finally update because apparently people keep finding this and reading it and waiting for more? Yes!

Also I wanna make some clarifications that I should have done in the past but it's about time:

This story started being written BEFORE Deceit's name reveal.
Just because I dont wanna go throught 15 chapters or so fixing the name, nor I wanna suddenly change it and create some sort of confusion, Deceit's, well, Janus' name will remain as it is in this fic, Derek.
In future fics I'll make sure to use the right one
For the time being, please do excuse this little problem😅

Patton's POV

"Logan" I ran behind Logan, catching up with him before he walked in the school

"Goodmorning Patton" Logan turned and looked at me, stopping at his tracks. "You are rather early-"

"I need to speak with you" I nodded and grabbed his arm

"Patton I'm meeting up with De-"

"One second Logan!" I said seriously. He had to finally know what was happening. I pulled him into one of the bathrooms and pocked my head out to make sure no one was around in the hallway. It was empty. It was just 7:30 am after all and classes were starting at 8 am. Why is Logan coming to school so early anyways! "This is about Megan."

"Megan" Logan's expression changed "It's too early to care about that-"

"Logan. Her and some dude named...uh...named...Rufus! No-"

Logan checked his watch and sighed. "Patton. I really need to be som-"

"REMY! Yes that was the name" I giggled

"What about him, Patton?" Logan seemed tired. He pinched the bridge of his nose almost...annoyed

"These two are blackmailing Roman." Patton mutters "with some photo..."

"Blackmailing?"

"Yes Logan. You think.. that's why Virgil was so mad..?"

I wouldn't doubt it if I were him. Virgil had suddenly acting so weird. He avoided Roman and he was..moodier than usually. It kinda hurt to see him like this

"Perhaps. What photograph?" Logan looked at me finally interested in what I was saying

"I'm not sure. I just heard them talking about it. And Megan was happy with Remy having it because it would ruin his and Virgil's relationship."

Logan looked skeptical. I wish I could tell you what was happening in his head. He looked up "it's happening again" he sighed "Derek-" Derek..it's always Derek that...Derek the other.
He keeps talking about Derek! ..Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for him! So happy and proud and happy! I just camt help but miss his beautiful chocolate eyes, and brown soft like a squishy squishy cloud hair and- "Patton" Patton? A voice pulled me back to reality

"Yes-"

"Are you listening to me?" Logan fixed his glasses, starring down at me

I nodded "uh sorry. Heh..got distracted. Um. Could you say it again..?"

Logan sighed. He looked annoyed again. What was going on lately?

"I said. Derek told me that Megan had been blackmailing him as well when we were dating that she would tell everyone. That's why out relationship ceased and he started acting like Megan's puppet. Figuratively." Logan took his glasses off, cleaning them with the fabric of his shirt "we can only assume she is doing the same with Roman now. And Roman, unlike Derek, is still under her control."

"Shouldn't we tell Virgil? He needs to know"

Logan nodded "I need to go now. We will speak at a later time. Okay?"

I sighed "sure.."

Logan walked to the door but before making it out, I spoke again "Logan? If the same that happened with Derek is happening again. That means that, the same thing that happened to him is gonna happen to Roman..?"

Logan took a moment. He sighed "we can only assume." He walked out closing the door behind him. And there I was left, in the cold smelly students' bathroom. Alone.

Feeling like this has started feeling tiring. I'm always putting on a smily and happy facade for my friends but lately with everything happening, it's becoming harder to do so.

Am I annoying them?

Or has Logan finally found the one whi is completeling him...?

Roman's POV

"For the third time. HOW are you back?!"

"For the thiiiird time. I took the bUS" he STUPID brother grinned, sucking on some yellow lollipop "Hey De likes yellow doesnt he?" He grinned

I rolled eyes "literally shut up. Why are you here? Weren't you in that boarding school?"

"Yup"

"Across the country"

"Yuuuuuuppp"

"Then WHY-"

"Oh romeo romeo why do you have to be romeo." He stood up and leaned on my shoulder grinning like a maniac "Maybe I just wanted to visit my lovely little brother and say HI! And also meet his smooooking hot friends" he grins

"Don't even think about it. Derek has a boyfriend"

"Eh" Remus shrugs "I can take him. I'll sedu-"

"Shut up Remus! Why did you suddenly remembered I existed eh? What do you need?"

"Look bro bro. I just dropped by okay? And now you have a school play so I'll stay" He grinned and flopped back on the school lab's chair.

"What about your school?" I sighed in defeat

"Ditching. Goody two shoes boy" he laughed again. How annoying. Couldnt he shut up for 5 minutes. Was it that much to ask??

"Whatever. Stay OUT of my business got it? I dont know what the heck you're doing here. Nor what you're trying to achieve. But stay. Out. Of my life" I walked out furious. Ugh. He is such a baby

Remus's POV

Suuuuuuuch a baby. Remy is REALLY owing me a favour. There's only one thing making this horrible stay bearable and-

"Morning" Derek walked in the lab and went over some desk.

-and he just walked into the classroom. Hehe.

"Morning Snake dude. Combra manic. LORD OF THE PYTHONS-"

"Okay I get it I get it. I look like I have scales" he mumbled while setting a microscope

"Awww dont take it like that. I think it looks nice. And really cool" I leaned against the table and smiled at him.

Derek looked up "huh? You think I look nice"

"Yup" I bopped his nose "nice. And handsome..and ho-"

Derek grabbed my hand slamming it against the desk

"Ow" I whined "why did you do that-"

"I have a boyfriend. And I know you're up to something?" He glared at me. That gaze. Oh that piercing gaze I could get lost-

"Oi! I'm talking." Derek glares

"What-thing?" I blinked "I'm not up to anything"

"You show up here. Roman looks VERY uncomfortable with you around. You suddenly become my supporter with my script and now this? You're a friend of Megan's arent you?" He glared at me

"...uh." I mumbled. I was never good at lying without practicing the lie first "no..?"

Derek scoffed "I knew it. Just leave me alone" he turned back to the microscope.

"Derek.."

"Leave me alone" he mumbled again with a cold tone

I backed away and walked out of the lab. It's true I was Megan's friend. And that I was here dor a reason but. He wasnt part of the reason. He just..happened to exist and be perfect.

Third Person POV

The days were passing and rehearsal started becoming more frequent.
Derek's take of the Shakespeare's big play, was honestly more appealing to the younger audience.

They had managed to add musical parts as well to add more spice.

Derek worked besides the teacher-director, being a director as well. Roman did his best, rehearsing daily.  Everyone was working together. Logan and Patton hadnt told Virgil yet not wanting to cause problems to him and Roman a bit before the big play. It could cause Roman to unfocused and mess up and they really didnt want that.

Megan was standing in the audience, boiling in her anger while she watched Harley being the incredible actress she was and executing Juliet's part beautifully.

And that's what everyone said...and everyone bragged

And the weeks passed and all this praise turned against her.

When one day, a week before the play, shhe woke up and her voice was gone.

"Oh no"
