Virgil had confessed to Roman a few months after he first appeared in the mindscape and Roman shut him down..:well in Roman's defence he didn't know Virgil was confessing. That's why they didn't get along..Virgil pushed Roman away and built up walls to keep him out...but with all the recent developments...they started to get close again. When Patton started to notice the bonding he suggested they play truth or dare. When Virgil was asked who he liked he said Roman without much hesitation and Roman slowly started to flirt with Virgil throughout the game—with dares and truths—before Virgil huffed, yelled at him to leave him alone and stormed off to his room. Roman was confused until Patton and Logan told Roman that Virgil thought he didn't feel the same and then Roman went after Virgil.
