Summary: It's Picanis birthday and Patton is trying to get closer to his son, but when he continues to push him away, he wish something, and somehow it came true.

Patton was in the kitchen, making sure everything was ready as he made a cake for his son, Picanis birthday. today was Picanis 15th Birthday and even thought it wasn't a special birthday like turning 18, he still wanted to make it one of the best birthdays, even though Picani asked for no party that year, since he felt as if he was to old for it.

Patton looked at the cake which had Steven Universe characters over it with pink and white icing and beside it, he had party hats with him, so he and Picani could wear them like they did every year.

After a little bit, Picani walked into their house, talking to his friend Roman on the phone. He giggled softly at something Roman said. "Oh shush Ro! I doubt he would like me back." He giggled as Roman said something back. He looked up and saw Patton and waved at him, smiling softly.

"Well I gotta go, I'm at home but I'll call you later about it, bye." He smiled softly to himself and hung up on Roman. He sat his stuff down and walked into the kitchen, where Patton was, but his smile famished as he saw the cake.

"Happy birthday kiddo!!" Patton said happily holding the cake up. Patton was excited to see his reaction. He assumed Picani would be happy but he was wrong.

Picani looked at him, and his eyes widened. "Dad! What did I say about my birthday this year??" He said, somewhat frustrated and put the cake down.

Patton looked confused, and was concerned he did something wrong. "That you didn't want a party, but don't worry! I still wanted to bake you a cake! And look t has your favorite characters on it to!" He giggled but it slowly faded away, and he  sighed softly as he was a bit disappointed. He loves his dad but this year he just didn't want to do much for his birthday.

"Dad, I really do appreciate it And the cake looks great but I'm 15, okay? I'm to old for this." He sighed softly and looked at Patton.

Patton frowned slightly. "But kiddo! Your never to old for birthdays! Besides, we do this every year!" He smiled slightly, offering a birthday hat to Picani.

Picani looked at the hat and pushed it away softly. "Well this kiddo is to old.." he sighed and walked off to his room, closing the door behind him.

Patton felt his heart break looked down and sighed. all he wanted was a good day with his kid. Every since Picnai lost his other dad, Logan, they never hung out much and he kept pushing Patton away. Today, Patton hopes he could've changed that, but sadly it didn't work.

He sat down and took a piece of cake, and put it on a plate. He grabbed a fork and sat down. Where he sat, a picture gram was beside him, which held a picture of him, and Picani on Picanis first birthday. He wore a bright smile, and laughing as Patton held onto him, taking the picture.

Patton picked it up and looked down at the picture, and sighed, looking at both of there faces, which both held smiles. "I just wish we could have one more day like that.." he held it close, and sighed, feeling as if he was about to cry.

After he whispered it, he started to hear a baby's cry, but how?? He looked up and heard it come from Picanis room. "P-Picani??" He called out but there was no answer, just crying.

He quickly got up and ran towards his room, scared something happened, and opened the door. He scanned the room but didn't seehim, but he heard the crying echo through the room, as if he was there. "Picani?? Where are you?!" He yelled but not to loud. He looked around and saw Picanis clothes, in one spot.

Patton wore a confused look on his face and looked around. "P-Picani??" He Called out again, looking around but this time, he noticed the clothes were moving.

"Huh?" He bent down, and picked up Picanis shirt only to see a crying baby under it, who looked just like how Picani was when he was a baby.

Patton's eyes widened and picked the baby up. "Oh boy.." he said to himself.
