_____________
(No one's POV)
Logan took a deep breath as he looked over everything again. He had a dark blue and purple blanket sat on the ground and on top that set a picnic basket. He checked his pocket for the small box and smiled softly once he felt it.
Soon, Virgil walked up in his normal outfit just a bit of different makeup and smiled at his boyfriend. "Hey Lo. Sorry I'm late," he said softly.
"It's quite alright, love," Logan said before taking Virgil's hand and leading him to the blanket.
Virgil couldn't stop himself from staring. It was all so beautiful. The dark sky was lit up perfectly by the moon, and the stars just seemed to add the most amazing details. They were in a clearing that no one seemed to know about because it was always just the two of them.
The pair sat down and stared at the sky for a while. Occasionally, one would reach for the sweet snacks Logan had brought.
"God Lo, it feels like we've been on a hundred dates, but you always seem to make them perfect," Virgil said softly as he gently laid his head on Logan's shoulders.
"We've been on eighty two dates, but if you mean proper ones, then this would be our twentyth," Logan said, smiling softly at Virgil.
Virgil couldn't help but laugh. "I bet you know down to the second how long we've been together too," he joked.
"One year six months five days nineteen hours six minutes and two seconds," Logan said.
Virgil shook his head, "it feels like just yesterday I was standing in front of you a stuttering mess,"
Logan smiled at the thought, his cheeks, a light shade of pink. "I remember. You weren't able to say what you needed, so you pulled me into a kiss and were gone before I could process what happened, " Logan said softly.
Virgil laughed again "Yeah and then you sat at my door for like an hour trying to get me to come out," Virgil said, smiling at the thought.
"And when you finally did, I kissed you again,"
Both males laugh, and Virgil sighed happily. Logan glanced at him and smiled. Virgil then looked up at him, and they stared into each other's eyes like it was the first and last time.
Virgil's eyes were dark brown, but if the light hit them perfectly, they would shin a dark burgundy. Logan's, on the other hand, had a lighter shade of brown. It was still dark, but it was lighter. What Virgil loved was the way Logan's eyes shined with fascination anytime he learned something new. The 'emtionless' male would always be given away by the look in his eyes.
Logan finally broke the eye contact and cleared his throat as he stood up and offered his hand to Virgil. "Shall we take a walk?" Logan asked.
Virgil smiled and took Logan's hand, standing up. The two started to walk through a small path Logan seemed to lead.
Soon, they made it to another path, and Virgil watched as Logan let go of Virgil's hand and ran over to something. He pressed a button and suddenly the trees lit up with small white lights. Virgil looked around in amazement and didn't notice Logan get down on one knee on the other side of him until he heard a voice say his name.
"Virgil Storm," Virgil gasped "before I didn't know why I felt this way. I didn't know why I needed anything but knowledge. But then you came in. You showed me so many things. You showed me what it meant to be happy. What it meant to be sad and, most importantly, love. You came in, and you made me better. I know I can't promise you forever, but I can promise you the rest of our lives. I will always be here, and I will always love you. So will you, Virgil Storm, marry me, " Logan said softly, and Virgil teared up.
"Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" Virgil held out his hand, and Logan slipped on the ring before standing up and kissing Virgil passionately.
