3rd person POV:

Remus and Janus had always been best friends. They did a lot together. Something they loved going was making up characters together and acting like them for a day. Remus loved being a monster that would terrorize everyone, or he would be some over the top dramatic person. Janus loved to be a hybrid human. She always was a half snake half human, or she would be some kind of ultimate villain. Other times they would screech at each that they where trees and they would grab stick, stand in their yard and yell "IMMA TREE!!!" They laughed at each other, had awesome adventures with each other, and were the best of friends. 

Janus was over at Remus' house a lot and she started developing feelings for his brother. Roman was a drama king. He was a lot like his brother, but a bit more sophisticated. (HOLY FRICK I SPELLED SOPHISTICATED RIGHT-) Remus on the other hand was still figuring out his emotions. He had feelings for girls, but at the same time he liked guys. All he knew was 'gay' and 'straight' he never heard of anything in between. Now they were 15. Roman and Janus were dating. Remus was single because he still wasn't sure about his sexuality. 

"Hey I have a new character!" Remus said excitedly

Janus was writing in one of her journals. She had it for stories, personal thoughts, and writing songs. Of course Remus had read it so many times. It was also used for writing about funny inside jokes and memories of their friendship. "Oh cool! What's it this time?"

"Ok so it's a three-headed reindeer. A demon reindeer, And it flies above the sky its yelling MERRY BITCHMAS MOTHER FU-" Janus slapped her hand over his mouth.

"I wouldn't recommend saying the rest. You know how your mom is about swearing."

Remus giggled and Janus removed her hand. "Honestly I don't get why 'swear words' are a thing. They are just another combination of letters and sounds that make words."

"I think that is the smartest thing I ever heard out of you." She put a hand on his shoulder. "And that's REALLY sad because I've known you for ten years."

Remus laughed and pushed her hand away playfully. "Has if you said 'smarter'. We literally stood in the yard yelling 'IMMA TREE' all the way up until we were thirteen."

They both started laughing and they both started talking about all the hilarious things they've done in the past. They started writing stories and memories in the notebook. Until Janus had to go home.

~Timeskip~

A day later Janus was out with Roman. She never called the couples outings a 'date' because it never felt right to call it that. She spent the whole day with Roman but it felt off. He didn't get her humor, they had no inside jokes, they hardly like the same things. She just thought that he was really attractive. But there was nothing there. The good thing was that Roman tried to make it work. It almost did but still nothing was there. 

Remus had spent the whole day alone. His only friend was Janus. His parents where either doing things around the house or they where at work. He stayed out of the way like he did most of the time. His own brother never wanted to spend time with him. Roman always thought he as to good for Remus. He dug in his closet and dug out some of his old stuffed animals he hadn't brought them out in years. He hasn't needed to but when he was all alone he brought out his friends. The times he's been alone he would play with his friends and gave them personalities. He gathered them all and threw them on his bed. He jumped in after and started playing. Even thought he was 15 he still needed these guys for comfort.

After an hour or two Janus and Roman came home. Roman was going out with one of his guy friends Patton. So Janus decided to stay and hang out with Remus. She headed down to his room and when she opened his door she saw him playing with stuffed animals. She never knew he had stuffed animals anymore. 

"Hey Re? Watcha doing?" She asked curiously

"Mmm? Oh hi Jan-Jan! Just playing with my friends." He picks up the animals and yeets them back into the closet. "But since your here I don't need them anymore!" He flashed her a grin

"Wait what? Your friends?" 

Remus let out a sigh "Well I've created people out of my stuffed animals. They are all very special to me. When I'm afraid/alone I bring them out and play with them. But I haven't needed to in while because we're alway together."

Janus went on his bed, sat next him and gave him a hug. He quickly hugged back. Sometimes all that was needed was a hug.

Remus pulled away "So how was your date with mr. overthetop?"

Janus sighed "The same. Honestly there isn't anything between us. No spark no nothing! I'm thinking of just calling the whole thing off."

"Well do whatever you think is right. I'm just saying that because I have no idea on how this stuff works."

"Yeah you're probably right. But i'm going to have to wait because he went out with one of his friends."  

"Ugh hes always with him. He spends more time with anyone else then his own brother." Remus pretended to pout but both of them knew he was joking, and they both knew that he didn't care about what his brother dose so they just started laughing.

~Another time skip because i did not know what else to write~ 

A few day later Remus and Janus were walking around in there local mall. They went to spencers and got some stuff in there. Now they were walking around looking for a place that sells ice cream. Finally they spotted a ice cream shop logo and rushed to it but quickly stopped when they saw a particular pair. It was Roman and Patton. It looks like Roman got him an ice cream and they were sharing it. Remus made a gagging sound but Janus let out an "Awww" And a sigh of relief. 

Remus gave her a 'WTF' look "Your happy about this!?"

"Duh! I knew things would never work out between us and look at that! They are so cute! Now I know that when I let him go he'll be with someone he really loves!!!" Janus gushed in excitement

"Wow ok soooo you just wanna get home and wait to deliver the news or-"

"Yeah lets get outta here!" She dragged Remus all the way back to his house

"HEY! We never got our ice cream!"

"Shush! We'll get it later! Oh and promise me you wont murder Roman."

"Ugh finnnnne!"

"Good!"

They got to his house and waited for Roman to return. Only an hour later Roman came home and Remus and Janus dragged him to Remus' room.

"Wha- Unhand me!" Roman exclaimed dramatically

"SHHHHH! Quiet Mr. Overthetop!" Remus snapped at him

When they got to his room they all sat down on his bed and Roman looked at the both of them "Janus? Is there a reason you dragged me to Remus' room? Because if you wanna talk we could talk in the kitchen." 

"Naw I'm just in a mood to drag everyone everywhere." She shrugged "Roman, I have something serious to talk about with you."

"Uhhh Ok?"

Remus sat there silently. 

"Now I'm not sure about you but you relationship." She paused "There's nothing there-"

"Oh my gosh you felt it to!?" Roman asked shocked

Janus was not expecting this "Wait you knew?! Wow soooo how does a break up sound."

"Well a relationship without love is just a friendship. So if that's what you want then I'm all for it"

The shook on it and said their goodbyes. Remus was sitting there proud of his best friend. "Good job Jan! I proud of you even though I have no idea how this works."

She just laughed but something was on her mind. "Hey Re?"

"Yeah?"

"Roman said a relationship without love is just a friendship. But what is a friendship with love? would that make it a relationship?"

 He thought for a moment "Well I think the friends would have to confirm it-"

They eyed each other 

"Does that mean-?" They spoke at the same time

"That we're-"

"We-?"

"OH MY GOSH-!"

They started laughing. Janus finally spoke "Your My soulmate Re!"

"Yeah! And your mine!"

They both hugged and from that day forward they where finally the happy couple they where destined to be.

I wrote that!!! I feel so achieved! At the end i kinda got lazy and just decided to do that but whatever man! I think thats the longest I've ever written (1503 words not counting this) So I hope you like it and jez this took a while TwT
