Virgil's P.O.V

Finally. It took me about half an hour but I finally finished it. My master plan to fool Pathos into thinking I have a master plan is complete. He'll be SO shocked when he sees my real plan! Now just to call and tell him.

*like 7 minutes later cause Virgil fell down the stairs trying to get to his phone*

"What do you want V?" Pathos sounds annoyed. I can't tell if he hates me or if it's been a bad day. I'll go with the latter.

"Rude." Pathos sighs and I can just imagine that he's rubbing his eyes.

"Sorry V, bad day. Now continue, please." I think for a second and decide to just abandon the whole master plan piece and invite him out with me.

"Well if it's been a bad day, then I'm gonna-"

*click*

.....DID HE JUST HANG UP ON ME?! THAT IS SO NOT PATHOS LIKE! I'LL CALL HIM RIGHT BACK!

"What is it now, Vermin?" Oh it's Prince asshole. He probably hung up on me.

"I need to speak with Pathos. Now." I start pacing back and forth while waiting. The phone makes a high-pitched noise so I just sighed and hung up. The high-pitched noise is Prince's way of saying 'fuck you' over the phone when Pathos is nearby.

I call again and this time Logos answers me with "This is Dominos Pizza how may I help you?"

"I CALLED BACK WILL YOU PLEASE JUST LET ME TALK TO PATHOS?!" 

*click*

In anger I throw the phone across the room and scream.

"DAMN YOU LOGOS!" Which of course gets the attention of Deception.

"Little bro, chill out. Do you ever think that maybe they just don't want you to fuck their bubbly buddy?" I glare over at Deception, who's at the bottom of the stairs just sitting at the bottom step.

"They just hate the idea because I'm "evil". I bet Pathos would be ok with it.... And I'm not just looking to fuck, ok?!" Deception laughs and I feel my face going red from both anger and embarrassment.

"V, I get that you're into the guy but they're heros. You're the villain, it would never work." I know Deception isn't saying this out of meanness. He wants to look after me. Both of us know that it isn't a good idea for light and dark to mix.

"Then... what if I start over?" "Wha-" "You do a heist and I pose as a victim" "V n-" "But I could use my powers to "stop" you" "That won-" "So they'll notice me and I can be with Pathos!" "Virgil, stop." I pause and notice that Deception has stood and is staring at me with a concerned/stern face. The face he makes when someone has a bad idea.

"That won't work. Logos is a fucking genius, not to mention Prince is paranoid about everyone he meets. Let's make a deal. If you get Pathos to like you AS YOU ARE, then I suppose you two could meet up here. I will... I will allow that much." I smile and nod, knowing that if I ask for anything more, my luck will run short.

"Now, they won't let you call so how about we get Duke to set a building on fire, an important one, then when they come I can silence Pathos and bring him to you while Duke keeps the other two busy."  I nod and hug Deception. I don't know what I'd do without him.
