Third person POV.

It's been a year since any of the hero's saw or heard anxiety. Sleep and deceit thought the worst of it since anxiety was the leader and he lost his only two members.

"Deceit? Sleep?" Morality asked as he entered the room to see the two people crying. "Are you two okay?" Patton, aka Morality, said softly.

"I-I..." Deceit was trying to say what was happening but sleep finished it for him .

"We're worried about anxiety. He hasn't showed up for a year..." Sleep said.

"Oh... I'm sure he's fine kiddos. He's strong." Patton smiled at the sweetly but he was deep in thought about what awful thing anxiety must be going through.

POV Of anxiety...

I was in the cell with my sister. I've been locked in here for about a year. Maybe more. You can't really tell time in the cell.

"Vee..?" My sister asked from across the cell.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Do you think mom would be proud of us..?" She asked weakly.

"Vicky..." I crawled over to her and hugged her. "Of course she would. She's always proud o you."

"What about you?"

"Me?" I questioned pulling away so I could see her tear filled face.

"Yeah, isn't she proud of you...?" She asked.

I paused and thought about this. She wouldn't be proud of me.. "no.. I did bad things to keep you safe."

I saw as she moved to hug me. I felt her body go limb after a minutes us hugging.

I pushed her back to see her face. Her eyes were closed with tears going down her face. "Vicky...?" I asked with tear welling in my eyes. "VICKY?!" I screamed as she didn't move. I checked her wrist for a pulse.... none... I gulped and backed up. My eyes were wide.

POV Of Sleep.

We we're going around the forest to find the base. Thomas decided to find anxiety ourselves.

"There," deceit pointed out as he remembered the surroundings.

"Should we try and get in?" Logan, Logic, asked.

"Yeah," I spoke as I immediately tried to find the entrance. Once we did we all entered and looked around.

"Why hello Remy and dee." We heard boss speak. We looked over at him to see him hold his sword and a bloody knife.

"Remy and dee?" Roman,  aka Prince, repeated.

"That would be me and deceit.." I spoke.

"Go find anxiety," Morality whispered.

"Okay." We both said as we ran towards the most likely place anxiety could be.

We went to the cells..

Once we entered we heard anxiety scream something. We glanced at each other and bolted down the hall of the cells.

I heard sobbing but I was unsure if it was anxiety. We arrived at the cell he was in to see him up against a wall his hand was over his mouth. His eyes was closed tightly. Tears were streaming down his face.

"Sleep look," Deceit hit my arm and pointed to anxiety's sister.. she looked so lifeless.

"You grab her, I'll get anxiety okay?" I whispered to him as I used my powers to unlock the door.

"Okay," We both moves to get them. When I got to anxiety I realized that he passed out not to long ago.

We carried both of them back upstairs to where the hero's were. I didn't see boss anywhere.

"Where is he?" I asked. The three of them turned to us.

"He teleported away, are they okay!?" Patton asked as he ran to us.

"Well, this girls dead.. no pulse.. this is why Virgil never came with us." Deceit spoke.

"And Virgil passed out..." I said after deceit finished.

Time skip...

POV Of anxiety..

I opened my eyes a bit to see a different room. The last thing I remember is-.... my sister...

I felt tears go down my face but looked around the room I was in. I heard a door opened and someone walk in.

I looked to see logic... shoot.

I backed up to the wall and curled up to make my self seem smaller. Logic didn't seem to notice I was awake. He closed the door and finally looked up at me.

"Virgil?" He questioned in shock but then the look softened when he realized I was scared. "Are you okay?" He back up a bit to let me have space.

I starred at him and made myself look smaller than before.

"Hold on, I will get someone you know." Logic left the room, he carefully shut the door as if it would scare me. He would be right.

After a few moments I saw sleep and deceit enter the room.

"Hey anx.." Sleep spoke with a weak but soft smile. They both approached me carefully as sat down next to me. I scooted away from them. I was now in a corner. I glanced at each other worried than looked back at me softly.

"Anxiety, we're not going to hurt you.." Sleep spoke. Deceit didn't dare say a word. I didn't blame him. I've been hurt to much to know that I'm going to end up hurt anyways. Sleep sighed and held out a piece of paper to give it to me. I didn't take it. He looked at me sadly and put it down on the bed. He got up and deceit left. Before sleep left he said one last thing to me. "I'm sorry we left you in there for so long.." and just like that he left.

I calmed down a bit but I stayed curled up to make myself look smaller. I starred at the paper he left. I finally picked it up carefully and slowly.

I unfolded the paper to see it was a letter. I paused... this was my sisters hand writing..

Dear Virgil..

I know I'll be dead soon. I'm sorry if I leave you but I'll be with our parents! I hope you survive though whatever that monster puts you through! If you have a chance to leave or escape take it please. You can live on for them. For me. I hope you get better big bro.

I let out a sob as I held the letter in my hands. I let go of the letter a just cried into my knees.

"I'm sorry Vicky!" I said in a near scream.

I heard someone open up the door but I couldn't get myself to look up at the person.

I felt someone sit down on the other side of the bed from me. The only sound in the room was my sobbing.

"It's okay kiddo," I heard Morality's voice after a few moments. I looked up a bit to see him looking at me with a smile. It was a sad but soft smile. "I know it can be hard.." he looked away. "Would a hug help?" He asked in a low but calming voice.

I made myself look the smallest I could possibly look.

"I'm guessing that's a no," he rubbed the back of his head.

Time skip..

I've been here for a while now. It's been a year since I've been here. I hadn't talked to any of them and I was crying most of the time. I barely get any sleep and I barley eat. Everyday I read my sisters letter over and over again. Every time I remember how she died. Morality always came in with food and water for me but I would barely eat or drink it.

One day as I'm reading over the letter I realized she would want me to get better... I've only been getting worse..  I wiped my tear filled eyes and remembered that they always kept the door unlocked just in case.

I let out a shaky breath and got up. I almost fell but quickly caught myself. I'm going to try.. 'for vicky' I thought as I put my hand on the door knob.

I walked down the hall with my shaking knees.

I heard someone humming to a song. I entered what I think to be the living room. I notice that a movie was playing. Sleep, Deceit, and Prince was watching the movie. I looked to the other side of the room to see Morality and Logic. I stayed by the wall but walked over to Morality quietly. He was in what I think to be the kitchen.

Morality looked to be cooking something. I made my way to the kitchen and hesitantly taped him on the shoulder.

"Hmm?" He turned to see me. I was backed up against a counter. I gulped as he looked surprised. "Anxiety?" He questioned.

"Y-Yeah..." I said in a whisper.

"You're out of your room?" He said with a smile.

"Uhh.... Yeah..." I gulped as I looked at him.

"I'm glad your trying kiddo," he smiled. "I was just about to go and give you a cookie." Morality grabbed the thing he was baking and held on me out for me to take.

I looked at it and back at him. After a moment I took it carefully.

"M-Morality?" I questioned. He smiled and nodded. "What's a-a cookie?" I asked.

"Wait you don't know what a cookie is?" He asked.

"Uhh.... I-I.... n-No...? Y-yes?.... uhhhhh.... m-maybe?" I kept stuttering.

"Just try it," he smiled.

I looked at this 'cookie' and took a bite. My mouth was a gap.

"Is something wrong?" Morality asked. He looked worried.

"This is amazing," I said without stuttering or worry.

Morality chuckled, "so kiddo." Morality started. I looked up at him. "Do you want to have supper with us?"

"Uhh... I-I... guess?" I stuttered out.

"YAY!" Morality scared me with this. I physically jumped.

"Patton are you- anxiety?" I heard logics voice. I looked over and saw everyone standing in the doorway to the kitchen.

"Uhh... y-yeah?" I stuttered out. Deceit walked forward towards me and held out his hand.

"Hey anx," he smiled. He looked better than before. "I have to tell you something before you say something about it. I don't lie anymore!" He said happily. He pulled his hand back knowing I wouldn't shake it.

"Oh kiddos!" Morality said happily. "Anxiety is joining us! For supper that is!" Patton giggled happily.

"Really?" Sleep asked surprised.

"Y-Y-Yeah..." I spoke quietly.

"I'm happy your getting better anx."

"V-Virgil.." I said.

"What?"

"C-call me v-Virgil.." I said.

"Oh okay, well Virgil wanna come watch Disney with us?" Sleep asked.

"W-what I-is Disney?" I asked.

"WHAT?!? You don't know what Disney is?!" Prince seemed to flip about it.

Time skip!!

It's been a few years now since Vicky died. I went to see the grave they made for her. I sat down at the front of the grave. I smiled with tears in my eyes.

"He paid for it Vick," I said with a watery smile. "He's dead now.. he didn't want to go to jail so he jumped. None of us could save him. I'm happy none of us did." I paused as my smiled faded. "I'm doing all this for you Vick.." I spoke in a lower than a whisper.

"Kiddo?" I heard Patton's voice. I turned to him to see him with a sad smile to reassure me. "You ready to go?" He asked.

"Y-Yeah..." I stood up and walked over to him. For the first time, I hugged him.

"Kiddo?" He was shocked because I flinched at any contact. He hugged me back knowing I needed it.

"P-Patt...?" I asked.

"Yeah kiddo?"

"I don't want to be afraid anymore.." I whispered but he heard me.

"Don't worry kiddo, We'll help you anyway we can."

I smiled and hugged him tighter. Im glad that I got out of there. Im living for Vicky.
