Your POV

I was frowning in my room. I sighed deeply. I was the most terrible out of all the gems. I'm an aquamarine that doesn't have a wand. I have the ability to fly though.. it's not that cool. Logan can summon a weapon and make clones with his gem.

Patton has a scythe, I found that to be awesome. He had a weapon, I didn't.

Virgil has a obsidian blade though I barely see him fight with it.

Roman can summon a gauntlet and is super strong. Probably the strongest out of all of us.

Then there's me... a weak aquamarine that can only fly...

Out of nowhere I heard someone knock on my door. I sighed and got up wiping my tears.

Once I opened the F/C (favourite colour) door I saw roman.

"Uhh... Yeah Ro?" I asked. Since I was an aquamarine I was smaller than everyone.

"Are you okay?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"Yeah I'm fine I was just about to go outside.." I rushed past him closing my door.

POV Of Roman.

I looked down the hall to where Y/N had just ran. Something was wrong with her/him/them. They/she/he have been off these past few days. I decided to ask the others.

"Hey guys?" I walked into the living room where everyone was sitting down.

"Yeah kiddo?" Patton asked a bit confused.

"Have any of you notice that Y/N has been acting weird lately?" I asked.

Virgil looked like he was thinking. Logan and Patton looked at each other.

"Now that you say it.." Virgil turned to me. "I did notice it but never questioned it."

"I know why..." Patton said sadly.

"What..?" I was confused, Patton knew?

"They/She/he doesn't think her/their/his abilities are cool. She/they/he thinks less of themselves/herself/himself..." Patton paused.

Before anyone could say another word I ran out the front door to try to find Y/N.

Your POV

I was standing on the edge of a cliff. Before you say anything I wasn't going to jump.

I felt my Y/H/C (your hair colour) hair flow with the wind.

"Y/N!" I heard someone scream my name. I turned to the person but I was tackled in a hug. I shut my eyes in fear. "Please don't ever think that your ability's aren't cool."

"Princey?" I opened my eyes to see roman hugging me.

"That's me.." I heard the sadness in his voice.

"Why.... why do you care.." I asked him as he pulled away.

"Because-"

"I'm just a useless gem that doesn't have a weapon the only thing I'm good for is flyin-" I was cut off by Romans lips. A deep blush spread across my face.

"I'm sorry but I will not let a princess/prince/royalty like yourself talk bad about yourself!" Roman started to cry. "You may not have a weapon but you can still fight. You can do something no one else can do here! You can fly!" Roman put his hands on my cheeks.

"But I not a normal-"

"Who cares! It's you, it's what makes you unique." Roman smiles sweetly at me.

"I-I...." I was lost for words. I felt tears running down my face. Roman, without a thought, wiped my tears with his thumbs.

"I love you Y/N." Roman said after a few moments.

"I-I love you two my prince." I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back. "Prince..?" I questioned.

"Yeah?" I pulled away from the hug and stepped back a bit.

"Grab my hands," I stuck out my hands for him to grab. He grabbed both of my hands. I let my wings come out and I started to fly. Roman was in the air.

"Woah..." Roman look amazed that he was in the air.

"Roman," I spoke once we were close to home.

"Yeah?" He questioned.

"Would you.." I landed in front of the house. "Would you be my boyfriend?" I asked closing my eyes thinking the worst.

"Of course I would." He than pulled he in and kissed me.

"AWWWW!!" I heard Patton. We broke away a deep blush on both of our faces.

"P-Patt...." I covered my face to hide my blush.

"Wow it finally happened." Virgil spoke. I could tell that he was smirking.

After that day me and Roman got closer than ever before. Every time I thought I was a broken gem he reassured me that I was perfect. I was happy.

I'm sorry if it's not what you expected but this is my first time ever hearing about the Steven universe AU. I had to research about this AU I'm happy I did cause this is actually really interesting.
