Virgil's POV.

I was kicked out of my house today.. I turned 18 and my family didn't want me. My mom hated me cause I was a emo. My dad said I was useless and never did anything right.. and my older sister, who was 21. She hated me the most. Unlike my mom and dad she would hurt me mentally and physically.

I was now on the streets and alone in the freezing rain. I found a small box with a roof over it. It almost look like a home for a cat. Luckily I could turn into a cat.. well more like a kitten but that doesn't matter! I used my power to fit into this small box and went inside. It was better than nothing I guess.

Hours passed.

I had slept for around an hour or so.. I think? It might've been more cause I felt a warm ness I hadn't felt in a long time. I opened my eyes to see I was no longer in a box but on someone's lap. I looked up to see someone looking as the tv screen. He had a soulmate necklace on him. In the middle it would have his colour and the outside colour would be his soulmates. He had three. One was light blue. The other a dark blue and the last was... purple... my colour.......

I looked at his outfit. He kinda looked like a prince. Hmmm.... I looked at the tv to se what he was watching. It was a Disney movie.... oh... that explains the prince outfit. I moved off of his lap cause it felt a bit weird that I didn't know this guy and I was on his lap sleeping.

"Huh? Oh your awake." He said in a calming voice. "It's okay, I won't hurt you." He said as he held a hand out to Smooth me down. I hissed and backed away.

"Hey roro! Is the kitty..? Huh? I guess He is!" Someone walked in. I looked over at them. It was a man with glass. He had a shirt on the had a small heart with glass on it. He was wearing a necklace too. His had a light blue colour in the centre and the other colours were dark blue, red, and purple.... he kinda reminded me of a dad. Well not my dad but I felt like I could trust him. He gave off a good vibe.

"Yeah. He already hissed at me. So where's Logan? We need to make sure he's healthy." The prince dude said.

"Oh he's in his room. I should probably tell him we need his help huh?" The prince nodded and the dad guy yelled a name. "LOGAN!" Suddenly a guy with glasses came running out.

"Is something wrong?" Logan looked wide eyed and once he realized no one was hurt or anything he then looked more calm. "What is wrong patton?" Logan asked.

Logan was wear a tie. One his shirt he had a brain with glasses. And his soulmate necklace was also one. It was a dark blue colour. With light blue, red, and purple around it. I was shocked.. these are my soulmates...

"Well lo, I went on a walk last night and found a box with a kitten inside and I took it home and roro watch it while I tried to find missing flyers to see who it belonged to. We wanted to see if you can cheek him to make sure he's not harmed." Patton said. Logan nodded making his way towards me. I hissed at him. Logan stopped in his tracks and thought for a second.

"Did he hiss at you to?" Logan asked the others. Princey nodded and Patton shook his head. "Patton de did he likes you more." Logan said. Patton nodded, he slowly came towards me made sure not to scare me. Once he got in front of me he went to pick me up. I moved back. I thought he was going to hit me.

"Hey hey. I'm not going to hurt you" Patton said with a smile. He comforted me. He went to grab me again.

"N-no..." I whispered. Once again afraid he was going to hurt me. Did I mention that I could also talk as a kitten? No? Well I can...

"D-did he just... talk..?" Princey asked. I looked at their faces to see pure shock in their faces.

"Hmm... it seems that this is a.... person.... maybe it's a person with powers." Logan said rubbing his chin.

"Wow. That would be amazing to be a kitten and a human. Can you turn into your human self?" Patton asked eyes glowing with excitement. 'He wanted to see what I looked like? Why is he getting his hopes up? I'm just a worthless emo who is hated. Wait... he doesn't know...' I thought to myself. That's when I closed my eyes. When I opened them I was human again. Their faces looked like they've never seen anything like this before. They probably haven't.

"Wow... you are.." I looked down at my feet before Logan even finished. I knew he was going to say something like 'your a monster! Get out of my house before I kill you' or something like that. "Amazing.." Logan said. I looked up in shock.

"W-what? H-how I-is th-that amazing?" I asked. Patton smiled. He was now sitting next to me.

"Well a person who can make themselves into a cat is pretty amazing Wait... why were you in a box outside then? Shouldn't you be with your parents?" I looked down at my feet.

"Well.... my p-parents kicked me out cause I was a m-monster a-and they couldn't k-kick me out before a-age 1-18 so they kicked me out yesterday...." I explained the best I could.

"So your homeless?" I nodded at the prince.

"Well you can stay with us! You can stay in a guest bedroom!" I looked at him shocked.

"R-really?" He nodded as his smile grew wider.

A year later.....

We had all grew quite close. I found out logan and Roman knew each other since high school and Patton and Roman knew each other from grade one. and Patton and Logan met each other through Roman. That's when they found out they were soulmates.

We were all sat at a table when suddenly Roman had a confused look on his face. We all asked what he was confused about when he said,

"We've never seen hot topics necklace before..." Patton and Logan also looked at each other and were interested.

"Kiddo can you show us your necklace? You don't have to." I gulped. I wanted to show them but I was nervous... I knew for a year that they were my soulmates but.... I was scared.

"Umm.... Fine.." I sighed and grabbed the chain. I pulled up the necklace. My necklace had purple in the middle and red, light blue, and dark blue on it.

"Kiddo?"
"Oh my-"
"Oh my love of Disney!"
They all said at the same time. I gulped afraid of what they would think.

"This is amazing!!! Your our soulmate!" Patton jumped up and hugged Virgil.

"Why did you never tell us?" Logan questioned.

"Well.... I was kinda waiting for the right moment. And first meeting you was to always like you picked up a kitten that turned out to be a real person that you don't know and they pull out a soulmate necklace and says their your soulmate doesn't really sound like something people would want to hear." I said. They all nodded and all of them gave Virgil a hug..

Another year passed. Virgil's now 21 today is his birthday and the others doesn't know.

We're all happily laying in the king size bed. It was the morning and I was the only up. I couldn't sleep remembering what today was... my birthday.. I hated it.. I really did. It's just another year wasted so we're closer to death then last year.  I got up and did my morning routine and turned into a kitten. It help me to get into high places.

I jumped on the counter to get to the fridge to get to the top cabinet to hid away all day. I had left a note on the table explaining that something was going on today and I didn't want to come out.

An hour passed and the other were up and saw the note and thought nothing of it until Logan read it.

"Uh Guys?" Logan asked. Patton looked over and him and Roman did the same. "Virgil didn't say he was leaving the house he just said he was hiding...." the two others looked shocked.

"KIDDO! COME OUT!" Patton yelled.

It was another hour of torture as they all tried to find me. That's when roman entered the kitchen. He looked around and his eyes passed me. He pulled something out of his pocket as Logan and Patton entered the room and looked confused at roman. Roman pulled out a piece of yarn...... gulp...

Roman carefully placed the yarn down and took a step back. I couldn't control myself. I jumped down dead on the yarn and started to attack it forgetting my situation. I felt someone pick me up. I was about to swing at them before they smoothed  down my head to calm me down. The sat down in the couch and stopped petting me but they still had ahold of me.

"Virgil why have you been hiding all day?" Patton asked concerned they did something wrong. Virgil transformed back. Romans hands were around Virgil's waist so he couldn't moved or run away.

"Well... I always hate this time of year.... but.. it's my 21 birthday...." Virgil whispered the last part.

"Oh? What's so bad about that hot topic?" Roman asked.

"Well.. every year on my birthday I would get a 'present'," I said.

"Well yeah Virgil everyone gets presents on their birthday." Logan said.

"No not that kind of present. I would get hurt tell the point I could die by my parents or my sister... I was call a monster," I said tears flooded my eyes as I remember the painful moments. "I was treated like I was nothing. Like their was nothing to look forward to... I was a mistake in their eyes.." i gulped as I just told them...

"Oh kiddo... it's okay." Patton got up and hugged me. Roman had a angry look on his face. I looked at him afraid of what he may be thinking. Ro noticed this.

"Virgil... where are your-" before he could finish the door bell rang.

"I'll get the door." Logan said and got up to get the door. I was wiping my tears away and saw Logan had came in with three familiar faces that are scared in my brain. I gulped. My family.....

"Hello, were looking for our son." 'Dad' said holding my 'moms' hand. Patton smiled. He was happy to help them.

"So last time we saw him he... ran away when he was 18. He would be 20 now..  and he had amazing powers-" I hissed. They both look at me in shock. My boyfriends all looked at me. Roman still had a grip on my waist.

"Yeah right! YOU called me a monster every day! YOU kicked me out! YOU abused me for years! YOU hated me! and guess what?! No matter how much you tried to kill me," I said with venom in my voice. "I found people who HELPED me! Something you could never do!" I hissed again. My 'mom' was now mad that I accused her of doing such a thing.

"How dare you! I'm your elder! You should respect me! Your only 20! And I'm you mother!" I laughed at this point. Roman let me waist go and I got up. My 'mother' and 'dad' stood up.

"If your a mother, your a sorry excuse for one! You don't even know my own age! I'm 21! Not 20! I don't even want a mother like you! I HATE YOU!" Virgil screamed. 'Mom' went to slap me when Logan grabbed her wrist and put it behind her back.

"No one hurts my soulmates. So don't even think about it you sorry excuse of a mother." Before she could speak logan throw her out the door. He glared at my 'father' and him and my 'sis' ran outside. I hugged Logan. Logan was surprised. I was crying into his shoulder and mumbled thank you to him. He made a rare small smile.

"Why don't we build a pillow fort and watch nightmare before Christmas?" Logan asked. My eyes went wide. And I screamed,

"YES!" They all giggled about how excited I was. Once we finished building the pillow fort. Roman put on the movie and sat down next to me hold my left hand with Patton holding me right and I was sitting on Logan lap. I was almost asleep when I spoke,

"Thank you... if it wasn't for you guys I would probably be dead." I whispered. I felt my hands being squeezed by Roman and Patton. Logan had tightened his grip around my waist.

"We love you virge." Patton said as my eyes closed. I could just feel his sweet smile and caring eyes looking at me.

"We'll protect you tell the end of the earth." Roman said. I could feel his smile.

"We will never let you get hurt. We won't let them-" I could tell there was a bit venom in his voice just thinking of them. "-hurt you again." Logan said. I slowly drifted to sleep in my boyfriends arms.

A few hours pasted....

I woke up to all three of them cuddling me. Roman and Patton at my side. Logan however I was sleeping on. He smiled. That's when he heard a knock on the door. He sighed quietly and managed to get up without waking his boyfriends up. He went to the door with four people standing there. His 'family' and a police officer.

"Hello officer how may I help you today?" I asked a bit confused.

"Are you Virgil?" I nod, "may we come in?" Virgil glared at his family.

"You can officer but I'm not letting them in my home." A bit of venom came out when I said them. The officer was confused.

"Why not?" She asked. (The officer).

"Cause they made up lies about me and abused me when I was younger and after two years they finally tried to find me acting like they care when really they didn't." The officer snarled her nose.

"I understand. They said you pulled a gun on them and threatened them. Either way... have a good day sir," just like that they went to jail for abuse and lying to a police officer.

I smiled knowing they would be locked away and leave me alone. I decided to make breakfast for all of them. Once they woke up and heard the news they all were cheering.
