After finally figuring out how to pack everything I needed and what I wanted I went downstairs to greet my new foster parents, who had been waiting for me for half an hour.

I knock on the door to the place I was supposed to meet them, after entering the two people that stood in front of me, being my foster parents, had this air about them that made me not trust them. The woman looked tall but in truth she was only that tall due to her heels, had bright blonde hair and brown eyes, she was slightly tanned and wore heavy amounts of makeup as well as a very heavy American accent when she introduced herself as Lea, the man was relatively tall, looked to be balding but from what I could see he had bleached ginger hair, might be why he's balding, his accent was no where near as thick as Lea's, I could tell when he introduced himself as Maxwell. Apparently they're both scientists in the same institute and the reason they chose me was because I could take care of myself when they were having to work longer hours... still, I can't shake the feeling that there's something about them that I shouldn't trust...

After saying my goodbyes with Mia and the rest of the staff I was soon on the plane.

Just as I was reaching for the book I decided to bring on the plane with me Lea pipes up with a million and one questions "So Trinity, what's it like living in England? Is it true everyone's really polite?" I reply quite bluntly "England is bland, it's boring, and no, everyone is not polite, you won't often find polite people, now let me read." I open my book up on the page about Merpeople, annoyingly Maxwell looks at my book and asks "Watcha reading?" Once again I reply bluntly "A book on creatures people think are mythical, Vampires, Merpeople, Lycans, the list goes on." A brief look of disappointment flashes across his face, before subsequently vanishing and being replaced with an obviously fake look of interest "Oh? Is it interesting?" I look up from my book "I wouldn't read it if it wasn't, it also seems a lot more realistic then the whole 'Vampires are hot sexy creatures' portrayal that Twilight presents, rather it portrays Vampires in a more ordinary light" just before I can go back to reading he pipes up with the most annoying thing anyone has said to me "Maybe you should stop reading books like that? Aren't they hard to understand for someone your age? Shouldn't you be reading books like Vampire Diaries?" (Sorry if those aren't books XD) "excuse me?" "Well books like that can't be good for you, you're young and susceptible to books like that" I shoot him a glare "It's not your job to say what books I should and should not read. I refuse to read books that are so obviously fictitious, even if the information in these isn't real, it's at least interesting to read." I go to read the book again but by this point we had already arrived in America.

Guys help, I don't know the location that Sanctuary is set in, it's either in America or Canada since it was shot in Canada, if anyone knows could you please tell me and I'll edit it in XD thanks in advance to anyone who does know.

It was around a 4 hour drive to the house I was to soon live in. Once we arrived I was soon shown to my room, the library, and everywhere else, all in all it was a relatively large building, not as large as the orphanage but it was close.

Soon enough I was unpacked with my piles of books on the floor once again...

A few years later on my 15th birthday.

"Trinity, we're going to be going abroad for a few years, do you think you can take care if yourself? Your aunt will be coming by each day to make sure you're OK." Maxwell says to me "Oh, Trinity, don't go reading those books while we're gone, I don't want your incredibly smart mind to be filled with garbage." Lea says soon after "I'll be fine, and mother, I understand that you want me to become a scientist like yourself but that's just not what I want to do, I want to live my life my way." I say before getting up and holing myself away in my room 'Why can't they understand'

A few more years later, months after my 18th birthday. Finally I can get away from here for longer, going to university is the best thing that could ever happen to me.

Two years later. There was an attack in the university, no one who saw the creature survived other then me and a younger student that I was protecting at that time, it was strange, it looked almost like a tiny dinosaur (it's supposed to be the hostile abnormal Ashely got locked in with in episode 2?) Even more so like the creatures in my books.

A year later. I did in depth research on the location of multiple gentle creatures with the intent on finding one, to prove to myself that they exist.

Three years later. It took three years to get to track down this creature but here I am, right in front of it, well no... what I actually found was a Sorkel, and now I'm not prepared to defend myself...
