Echizen and Yumiko looked at Kuran Kaname at the same time. "What do you mean, Onii-chan?" Yumiko asked him. Kuran hugged them both and of course, they felt how warm he is to them. He is only like that to the two of them. He may be cold to others but just like Ryoma and Yumiko, he is also in misery.

Miyaki also cried and hugged the two of them. After that, she asked Kaname, "Yumiko, you have the power to see the past by touch, right?"

Yumiko nodded and looked straight at Echizen's hazel eyes.

Kaname gave them the pendant and told them, "White Tulip means forgiveness. Your love for each other is somehow... foresaw by the Council of Ancients. You saw his past, right? Not just his past but what and who his ancestors are, right?" After that, he looked at Rinko. "This pendant is passed down unconsciously by the Takeuchis, right?"

Rinko nodded. "Right but... it really became a bad luck for me. I threw it up and I can't believe that boy has it."

Miyaki was so surprised. "That pendant is my father's!"

All looked at her. She sighed and told Yumiko, "You knew who his ancestors, right?"

Yumiko held Echizen's right hand more. "Yes, it's true. I was surprised to see a human having pureblood vampire ancestors. It really was a shock to me when we met inside the shop... in my curiosity... I do not know my heart has fallen for him. He helped me stand up when I slipped down the stairs. When our hands met each other... I saw his deeper past."

Echizen's eyes spoke to her. He wanted to learn what she saw when they first touched. "Since that time, you knew about the secrets of the past?"

Her tears fell down in her cheeks. "Forgive me, Echizen! I really don't know that I shouldn't have turned you into a vampire! I saw the past... but I didn't take it as a warning! You know, I never believed in prophecies or sayings!"

"Tell me, Yumiko. I will take it all," he told her.

"Even it hurts you, Echizen?" she asked.

"Yes."

Kaname saw their sad eyes and knew that it was the right time to give the two of them privacy.

"Let's leave this room now. We need to give them privacy," he said.

"You're right. Let's leave now," Miyaki replied back. Rinko opened the door and as the four of them leave Ryoma's room, they noticed that their hands kept glowing whenever they touch each other's hands. It's a mystery, yes but for Kaname, his lips are contented and happy.

When the four of them are walking downstairs, he told Rinko and Miyaki, "Your descendant seemed to mature now, isn't it?"

"That's true. It was hard for him to accept what he has become at first until he taught himself to accept the truth," Rinko replied back to him. "He's happy whenever Yumiko's with him. He's sad if he's not around her."

"It's just the same as Yumiko. She's sad if she's not around him. She's happy if Ryoma's with her," Kaname said.

"Are you ready, Echizen?" Yumiko asked.

"I am always ready," he said.

Yumiko pressed down her fingers on Ryoma's chest without making it bleed but she's making it sure that her hands are glowing with her silver aura.

Echizen felt the glowing heat covering his whole chest and little by little, he's already seeing visions from the past.

A tower...

A gate...

Dungeon...

A familiar girl locked behind metal bars...

The surrounding is definitely from middle ages...

"Save me!!! Let me go!!!" screamed the girl but the humans kept spiting curses at her.

"You're a vampire! What if you attack humans? Vampires are no different from bats! You all feed on blood!" the three men looked at her mischievously and hit her face. Her pale face started to bleed.

They left her hanging on her own dear life to wait for the right man chosen for her. Years and centuries passed by without her knowing.

The tower once located in a city is now located in a forest. The rumors about a ghost of a woman spread incredulously at the time of Enlightenment where most humans are skeptical about supernatural beings.

This rumor reached the ears of two young Japanese men. They really became very interested and bravely entered that rumored tower without knowing that their whole lives will be changed forever.

One of them is already a pureblood vampire. His name is Akari Takanori. He is the soon-to-be father of Miyaki. Just like Miyaki, he has olive green eyes and pale skin.

Both men walked at the weak wooden staircase until they saw a mesmerizing and beautiful woman in front of them behind bars and eating bats.

They definitely felt very afraid of her but they felt pity more. They broke the lock and entered it.

She looked at them. Her eyes were fiery red. "I'm Frances... there were men who locked me here."

"We've come to rescue you," Takeuchi said.

Takanori knew that the woman is a vampire but he wasn't strong enough to protect his human friend when the pureblood vampire woman sucked his friend's blood.

He knew that he will just die if he tries to save his friend...

Takeuchi wasn't devoured at all...

He was just turned as a vampire...

At those times, he still doesn't know what to do but he swore that he'll soon be back for him but he had forgotten about him...

After two centuries...

He already has a beautiful and elegant daughter and wife that were very close to the Kuran Family.

He only remembered him after seeing him and that woman again in the gathering of Vampires lead by the Kurans.

He waited for the right time to save him. He followed him that night wherever he goes and when he's totally alone at the terrace, he shouted at him, "Takeuchi!"

His hazel eyes looked at him and knew quickly who he is. He's definitely angry at him.

"Hisashiburi, Takanori. You said you'll be back for me but... you never came back for me. I was forced to drink that woman's blood!" Takeuchi told him.

"Forgive me!" he begged. "Takeuchi, I do not know what to do those days but please... you know how much I want you to return to your real self!"

"Wait... you can make me human again?" he asked.

"Yes..."

Suddenly, Frances appeared at the back. "Don"t you dare lie at him!" she told him. Takanori felt her fierce aura. He stood like a statue at her back and suddenly, her right hands were already in front of his chest.

His mouth were filled with blood and his chest bled severely.

Takeuchi's brainwashed mind woke up in an instant after seeing him dying and witnessing how his master torture his old friend. Takeuchi Mayuri, Miyaki's mother quickly felt that his husband is in deep danger and when she arrived at the terrace where she felt his husband"s aura is fluctuating, she saw him drowning with his own blood.

"Takanori" she cried hard. Her tears fell bitterly. She hugged him and when she saw Frances's hand covered with her blood, she quickly released a transparent, gravitational shield protecting the two of them from Frances as she kept crying and asking him, "Why did she attack you?"

Frances tried breaking the shield but she couldn't. It was as thick as a wall. "His blood excites me!" she said as she lick her right hand.

Takeuchi stared at her in disbelief. "How can you do this???" he screamed.

"It's his blood I want actually. I only used you to find him but... I cannot let you go, too! Stand back and watch me finish him!" she told him.

He did follow but he couldn't bear to watch her trying to break that unimaginable shield created by a pureblood vampire.

She tried using her hands again to break it. Yes... it did break into pieces after pushing harder but it made a large impact on her body. Her body felt tense and heavy. His chest couldn't bear the invisible sharp glass that went through her chest, making her bleed.

She was forced to create a carbon copy of herself and leave that place without Takeuchi. She went back to her tower where she rested and waited to return the favor.

As she was waiting, Takanori turned Takeuchi back as a human causing him to die.

Miyaki, who was just ten at those times doesn't know what was happening and her fate.

Of course, her mother knew that if Miyaki was kept as a pureblood, she will be hunted by Frances.

Mayuri left Miyaki beside Takeuchi soon after she made her human. The white tulip is left in her possession.

Frances, of course is absolutely pissed off because she couldn't find them and for years, Takeuchi and Miyaki lived safely and peacefully as humans .

But after so many years,Yumiko found their descendant inside a shop and turned him into a vampire.

Yumiko released her hands on Ryoma's chest and stared at him. He's definitely dazed after seeing all of it. It was truly a painful and traumatic past but it only explains everything why she wanted to devour him.

"She wanted power... that I inherited from my grandma's mother," he said. Yumiko touched his hands and she's definitely afraid of her more but Yumiko hugged him again and comforted him.

"You won't die on me, Echizen-kun!" she promised him and they kissed again.
