Tezuka and Oishi were just walking around the corridor of the Day Class Dorm when they suddenly saw a new highschool student seriously talking to Chairman Cross.

"Chairman Cross, you know the reason why I accepted your offer for me to study here. Where's the man who ruined my younger brother's life? I'll definitely kill him!" he asked. He has the same green eyes like Ryoma.

"Come with me at once. I'll let you meet Echizen Ryoma. He'll tell you everything he knows and will assure you that his life wasn't ruined by his vampire senpais," Chairman Cross felt Tezuka's and Oishi's presences and so, just by his look, Tezuka told Oishi to leave them.

As they walked away from them, Tezuka had a glimpse of the young man's face.

"Echizen Ryoga?" he truly is surprised seeing him inside Cross Academy Dorm. He's the new Dorm President of the Day Class.

Upon seeing him, he knows that Ryoma will be totally surprised to see him.

Oishi just felt confused why he knows about Ryoma and so, as they go to their classroom with their bags, Tezuka explained who he is, "Echizen Ryoga is here. He's the person we saw with Chairman Cross."

Oishi is definitely surprised. "Why would he be here?"

"I don't know but as what I could deduct, he's definitely angry with the Vampire Society who turned Ryoma into becoming a vampire."

"Echizen Ryoga... he's Ryoma's older brother, right?" he said.

"Right."

Chairman Cross guided him at the Night Class dorms where all of the Vampires live and so, upon entering, there was no one who welcomed them.

"Where are they?" Ryoga asked.

"They're asleep, of course! Ryoga-kun, you musn't be angry with Kaname-kun. They saved your brother twice already," Chairman Cross told him mischievously but Ryoga wouldn't budge. After learning the truth through Nanjiroh, he wanted to take Echizen Ryoma away from them and find any way to make him human again.

Yumiko entered Ryoma's room without her sensing Chairman Cross and a stranger just beside her. Of course, it became her habit that everytime she wakes up, she would go inside Ryoma's room and wake him up by sinking her fangs at his neck. Well, Ryoma is already used to it already.

Ryoma just kept his eyes closed even he can feel his warm blood trickle down his neck while his master take some of his blood but he suddenly opened it when he sensed his older brother's scent.

Yumiko stopped drinking his blood for a while. She looked at his startled face. He sat up because his blood makes him feel uneasy. Why is he here? His eyes turned red due to the strong scent of his blood. It makes Echizen feel uncomfortable and his heart pumps real fast.

"Ryoma?" asked Yumiko. She looked at her servant's eyes and knew that he needed her blood to calm him down. She put his neck closer to him and told him, "I think you should be the one drinking my blood."

Ryoma decided to follow her so that he can divert his sense of smell through her scent. He held her wrists and hugged her.

He just started licking her neck and he haven't even started sucking some of her blood when Chairman Cross knocked at his door to enter his room. Ryoma calmed down and opened it after a while.

Ryoga stared at his little brother and when he saw Echizen's neck, he knew that it is newly bitten. There were still excess blood dripping down his shirt. Yumiko looked at them. Ryoga looked at Yumiko full of hatred that made Yumiko hide behind him. Ryoma held her hand and sensed that she's afraid of his brother.

"Yumiko-sama, don't worry. I'll settle this quick."

Ryoga kept looking at them and he's definitely surprised that his brother is allowing himself to get bitten by a female vampire. His anger rose up higher.

"Ryoma, what happened to you?" Ryoga asked him.

Ryoma bravely faced him. "It's obvious what I am right now, brother. I'm a vampire. I do believe our parents already told you about me, right? Why won't you just accept it?" he reluctantly told him.

"But...," he was really surprised, "Chibisuke, do you like your life?"

Ryoma laughed at him, "I have surpassed many challenges. Oniisan, my life is different now."

Yumiko went closer to him and held his right hand. "Ryoma-kun, are you really happy?" she's really worried about him but he just smiled at her.

"I have her, Oniisan. I have my friends here. You are here, too. What else would I ask for, right?" he said.

Hanabusa walked down the corridor after smelling a strong scent and it directed him to where Ryoga is but knew that he can't just budge in. He decided to eavesdrop on them.

"Chairman Cross, can my brother replace my duty? I can't keep my job as a prefect. I'm annoyed with the girls!" he threw the white badge to him.

He caught it by his left hand and said, "Alright." He quickly passed it down to Ryoga who tried to refuse but because of his persuasion, he accepted. He knew, finally that Ryoma had become stronger and independent after becoming a vampire. He finally accepted his brother but he didn't just accept Chairman Cross's offer just to hear those words. He came to warn Echizen.

"Chibisuke, do you remember your first victim?" he asked.

Ryoma is thunderstruck after he heard it. Everytime that he remembers it, it strikes him painfully. Ryoga stared at his eyes and it's an enough answer when he saw his startled, brother's eyes clearly without doubt that he does still remember it.

"Naze, Oniisan?" he asked.

"His father is a vampire hunter but don't worry about that. I'll surely make sure that you are safe!" he said.

Ryoma looked at Chairman Cross's four eyes. "Does he know that it was me?" he asked.

Chairman Cross put his right arm at Echizen's left shoulder and told him, "You musn't worry."

The Tennis Club in Cross Academy is just newly formed after the old members of Seigaku have all changed their schools and now that it was summer, Momo and Kaidoh were assigned to find good tennis players to be its members but they couldn't even find a decent freshman nor a second year as members for almost half a day since they opened the club.

Both were very tired now when suddenly, they've noticed a young man knocking down the three cans they've placed at the far end of the court.

Both stood up and when they observed him, he does look like Ryuzaki Sakuno but his way of play does resemble Sanada and Yuuta in some angles. He also has miltary-cut hair but then, Echizen Ryoga went inside the court wearing the badge given by Ryoma.

He went at the other side of the court with his racket and returned it. The young man was shocked to see an orange ball coming after him. He stopped and looked at the stupefied Captain and Vice Captain.

"So, is he in?" Ryoga asked.

Momo quickly went back to his senses and answered, "Right. He's in."

"Why are you wearing Echizen's badge? Who are you anyway?" Kaidoh asked Ryoga.

"You don't remember me?" Ryoga felt really shocked at Kaidoh. A large question mark went above his head. He really can't believe that someone would quickly forget about him but Momo's eyes opened wide.

"Did Ryoma-kun give it to you?" he asked.

"Momo, you know him?" Kaidoh asked.

"He's Ryoma's brother! Do you remember the time we went in at a fake cruise ship?" he told him. When Kaidoh remembered it, he quickly collared him. "So, you're one of those men who trapped us, eh," he hissed. As they were all talking inside the indoor tennis court, they've heard the screams of the Day Class students outside who were all trying to escape a certain man who shot a young man.

All of them went outside the court to know the cause and when they are already at the scene, they found Fuji Shuusuke's brother, Yuuta drowning in his own blood.

Fuji quickly ran beside his brother, hugged him and screamed for help. Chairman Cross, and Yagari Toga quickly chased the man who attacked him without warning, while Echizen Ryoga do all his best to save Fuji's brother even it is too late.

Toga and Cross kept following the man but he was too fast. The only thing that they could observe of him is that he is wearing a light brown coat and holds a long rifle at his right hand.

The forest drew darker and so, both hunters decided to stop until Yagari Toga noticed an envelope which he accidentally stepped on.

He took the white envelope with him and opened it. Cross stopped for a while when he noticed that Toga went frozen upon seeing the picture inside the envelope. "The young man made a huge mistake! He was assigned to kill a Level E!" he said and passed it to Cross. He knows it because the man in the picture was once his Vampire accomplice who never had a chance to be his master's servant until he became a Level E.

"This man only looks like Fuji's brother but he had killed a human, not the man at that picture," he said but Cross wasn't so sure if the young man did really made a mistake.

When they got back at Cross Academy, Fuji tried his best not to cry over his brother's sudden death. They lay Yuuta's dead body on his bed inside his room. He kept his eyes open, for him not to lose a tear. If he close it, a tear would drop down.

Echizen Ryoma, Kuran Kaname, Kuran Yumiko and the other tennis regulars were all shocked to know that Fuji's brother was shot while he was entering the entrance of Cross Academy.

Tezuka went beside Fuji who kept trying to hide his feelings. "Fuji, don't hide your real emotions. A man isn't a machine who isn't allowed to show their feelings."

Upon learning that Yuuta is killed by a strange Vampire Hunter after his brother told him, Echizen quickly ran and went at the Day Class Dorm that afternoon and asked, "What happened Fuji-senpai?"

Fuji did not reply to him but as Ryoma stare at his senpai's eyes, he knows that he is definitely in pain right now and reduced to pieces. He knows that the Fuji Brothers doesn't have a long bond together and they were just restarting again when in an instant, it was all gone.

Miyaki went inside Fuji's room after seeing her grandson run so fast. When she looked at Echizen's eyes, it seemed, he was more dumbstruck than Fuji upon knowing that everything that his brother told him is true. Fuji's brother had passed away.

Cross went inside Fuji's room while he is waiting for someone to take him to his family in Tokyo. Ryoma went beside his senpai and tried to comfort him but their emotions were just the same. Both wanted justice for Yuuta's death.

"Toga believes that the vampire hunter thought that Yuuta is his target and he killed him by mistake. Echizen, do you think that young, vampire hunter really did it by mistake?" Cross asked him.

Echizen lowered his eyes but it was full of bravery and hatred, "Chigau. It's a warning for me."

Fuji stared at his eyes seriously. Tezuka also looked at him and asked, "What do you mean?"

"I can't tell all of you but I know it's a warning for me. That vampire hunter would come after me for revenge!" he told them and ran away.

Yumiko followed him as Echizen ran down the stairs of the dorm. He still can't forgive himself for the pain he had caused but as she chase him, Yumiko saw her cousin, Shiki and held his right wrist tightly. It seems he knows what Echizen would want to do. He had heard about the surprising news, too.

He threw him on the ground and told him, "Running after the person who hurt your senpai? You're a total jerk! You want to suicide, aren't you?"

Echizen looked at him and tried pushing him away but Shiki pinned him on the wall. "If you go at the forest without anybody, this vampire hunter traitor would come and kill you successfully! They are more dangerous than the vampires who almost destroyed you!"

Kaname went out on a broad daylight after Yumiko informed him about Fuji's brother's death. Kaname saw them and ordered them to get inside the Night Class Dorm. Both men followed him with Shiki dragging him inside their dorm before the gate closes.

Kawamura and a girl behind him just witnessed it but not heard whatever Ryoma and Shiki were talking about but he's sure that it is very important and serious.

Both he and the girl beside him decided to keep walking until Inui came into view that astonished him. "INUI! Why'd you shock me like that?" he asked.

"Fuji's brother is dead. The news already reached the Vampire Society, the new Council of Ancients and the Vampire Hunter Society. I was tasked to be trained to become a Vampire Hunter with Eiji and Oishi with me. They've checked our backgrounds and found that our grandparents are retired Vampire Hunters," he said.

"Doiuo iminano?" Kawamura asked.

"Tell Ryoma goodbye for us. Also, Chairman Cross told us that the Vampire Hunter Society did ask a young man to kill a dangerous Level E but because of the mistake the boy had done, Kaname will meet the Council of Ancients which he had chosen to do their responsibilities fairly and loyally to him to investigate it carefully. Kawamura, your job has just started. Tell everything I know to Echizen and Fuji, do you understand?"

"I will, Inui."

After that, Inui already joined Oishi and Eiji to depart Cross Academy to begin their training to become professional and strong Vampire Hunters.
