When Anita opened her eyes, it was already morning. She got up and sat on the bed. She groaned when she felt a headache coming.

"Take the advil for your headache."

Anita's head shot up at the voice. Kim Kimhan Theerapanyakul was standing there with a smirk on his face.

"I don't know why I'm surprised by the act you pulled." Anita said.

"You were not picking up my calls and I got to know that you were with Kinn and all in the Hum bar, so I went there." Kim explained.

"Oh, so you're stalking me now?" Anita asked.

"Now?" Kim asked.

"Oh my god! How long have you been stalking me?" Anita asked, appalled.

"I can take care of myself, Kim. Thank you so much for bringing me here but I should go now." Anita said, getting up from the bed.

Anita gathered her things and was about to leave his apartment when Kim held her wrist and pulled her towards him. Her back was against Kim's chest. Kim bit her ear lobe.

"Kim, what are you doing? Let me go." Anita demanded.

"My whereabouts are none of your concern Khun Kinn." Anita said with a hard voice.

"Lia, I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have said what I said yesterday but I was angry. Please, forgive me." Kinn pleaded.

Anita nodded and smiled a little. Anita and Pete became busy with their work. After an hour or two, Kinn called Pete in the sauna. Arm came into Anita's room and took her to the restaurant in the mansion. She saw that Porsche was unconscious and Pete was swabbing something under Porsche's nose.

"What happened to him?" Anita asked.

"Tough guy fainted in sauna." Arm said, laughing.

"Of course." Anita said and rolled her eyes.

Porsche jolted awake and startled everyone sitting around him.

"There you go, my friend." Pol said.

Arm said something in Chinese that no one understood.

"What did you say?" Porsche asked, suspiciously.

"What did he say?" Pete asked, grinning.

"I don't know, man. I'm hungry." Anita said.

"We're in a restaurant in the mansion. They changed you clothes. Look at it." Arm said.

"Hey, eat up." Pol said.

"You, eat up." Pete said to Porsche due to his condition.

"Where is Khun Tankhun?" Porsche asked.

"There. He's in that zone with Khun Kinn." Pete informed.

"That's good that they are over there because I wouldn't be able to eat."Pete said.

"Yeah. Hey, it's boiling. I'm gonna lift it up now. I can't take it any longer." Pol said.

He lifted up the lid and put a piece on his plate and one in Anita's plate. Anita smiled at him gratefully.

All of them turned to the source of the voice and saw Vegas. They all stood up.

"Good afternoon, Khun Vegas." Pete greeted him.

"Can I join you guys?" Vegas asked.

"Uh, Khun Vegas, Khun Kinn is in that zone." Pete informed.

Pete really just wanted to hang out with his friends without anyone intruding. Vegas smiled at Pete and stepped towards him. He put his hand on Pete's shoulder to which Pete flinched.

"But I want to sit here. Can I?" Vegas asked.

"Yes sir." "Of course, sir."

"Hia, don't scare my friends. Sit down and eat with us and let everyone else eat." Anita said.

"I'm guessing you're hungry and that's why you're grumpy." Vegas said, chuckling.

Vegas sat down on the seat which was previously occupied by Pete. Pete moved his seat and plate next to Anita.

Arm and Pol gave Vegas a new plate. Vegas smiled.

"Thank you." Vegas said.

Kinn entered in their zone as well. Arm noticed him first and stood up which got everyone's attention. Everyone except Vegas stood up.

"I'll be joining you guys as well." Kinn said and walked in.

Anita rolled her eyes and took her seat again. Vegas smirked at Kinn. Pol moved from his seat. He took his plate with him and sat next to Anita. Kinn went on about how their table was better because they had cheese. Anita and Vegas were amused looking at Kinn's action.

"There's a diamond auction coming up this saturday. Have you practiced raising your hand?" Vegas asked.

"My papa just wants me to go there for formality." Kinn answered.

"I heard that it's for your very first opening to the press." Vegas informed.

"Word travels fast." Kinn said.

Anita zoned out rest of the conversation she only looked up when Vegas put some food in Porsche's plate.

"My bodyguard got hands and feet. He can take care of himself." Kinn snapped.

Vegas smirked, enjoying Kinn's irritation.

"Sorry, I forgot you all treat your bodyguard differently." Vegas smirked glancing at Anita and Porsche.

"Oh right, Kinn said that you can't adjust yourself working here. Well my personal bodyguard just quit. I asked Anita first but she declined. What would you say if I-" Vegas started but was cut off by Kinn.

"No." Kinn snapped again.

Pete, Anita, Arm and Pol looked at each other feeling the obvious tension between the cousins. The tension between them was so thick the one could cut it with a knife.

"Porsche takes care of Tankhun. He won't give him to you." Kinn informed.

"Then you go talk to him for me." Vegas said.

"I don't like getting into other people's business and I don't like others getting into mine." Kinn replied with a sarcastic smile.

"Why's that? Oh! You're afraid that when you open your heart, you will be hurt again?" Vegas asked.

Kinn glared ata Vegas and Vegas, who quite content that he made Kinn mad, took a bite of his food smirking. Suddenly Vegas was hit by a metal tray on his head. Vegas stood up, ready to beat the guy who hit him only to stop when he saw the culprit was Tankhun.

"Hia!" Anita exclaimed in disbelief.

"Guy, how could you let him eat with us?" Tankhun asked, angrily.

"Vegas, go home." Tankhun ordered.

Vegas continued to glare at Tankhun.

"What are you looking at?" Tankhun asked.

Vegas bumped his shoulder against Tankhun harshly and went out. Anita got up and went behind Vegas. She swiftly avoided Tankhun who tried to catch her.

"Hia! Hia, wait." Anita shouted.

Vegas stopped and turned around. He saw Anita rushing towards him.

"Hia, I'm sor-" Anita started.

"No, Ani. I don't want your apology. You did nothing wrong. And why do you always cover for them? How do you live here with these people?" Vegas asked.

"They treat me like their sister, Hia. Just like you and Cau." Anita said.

Anita hesitated a bit. Her relations with Kinn for the past few week became quite strained.

"He apologises if he had scold me for a wrong cause." Anita said with a weak voice.

"And I'm pretty sure that everytime time you accepted his apology? You know what is gonna happen one day? He will stop apologising. He already know that you're indebted to his family when they took you in after your mother's death. They take advantage of you. You're just too naive and dedicated to them to see it. I pity you, Ani. I really see you as my sister and Macau already love you so much. My offer to join the minor side still stands." Vegas said.

Anita was standing there quitely.

"I'm leaving. I'll see you soon." Vegas said and kissed Anita's forehead and left.

Big came to Anita and saw her standing with a confused face.

"Anita?" Big asked.

"Are you okay?"

The whole night Anita thought about what Vegas said to her. Pete came in and saw Anita deep in thought.

Anita smiled and looked at him.

"Nothing much, Pete. Just thinking about the scene that happened in the afternoon." Anita said.

"Yeah. That was something."

Anita and Pete sat in the silence for sometime before Pete spoke up.

Next Day,

Anita wore a casual dress and went with Big to Kim's apartment.

"It's been a while since we talked." Big said.

"Yeah. I know. You had to do a lot of work since Porsche is new."

"Yeah. He is an amateur and immature. I should've stood up for you that day. I'm so sorry, Big." Anita apologised.

"Don't be. Doctor said I will be better in a few weeks. I will share the head bodyguard position with you again." Big said.

Anita gave Big a genuine big smile and hugged him.

They stopped at Kim's house. Big went in with a file in his hand and Anita waited in the car. Big returned after a while.

"Anita, Khun Kim is asking for you." Big informed.

"Okay. You go back to main family mansion, I'll take a cab or something to return." Anita said.

Big hesitated a bit but nodded.

He has the guardianship of his younger brother Porchay who is in his last year of school. He worked at a bar before becoming Khun Kinn's bodyguard and he is also an underground boxer known as The Pheonix." Anita informed.

"Hmm, he is not as skilled and experienced as you, Big and Ken. How did he manage the head bodyguard post?" Kim asked.

"Khun Korn gave him this position. He was impressed by his frankness and boldness." Anita replied.

Kim nodded. He went near Anita.

"I hear you're accompanying Kinn in tonight's diamond auction." Kim inquired.

"Yes, I am."

"I know that you're not going as head bodyguard but as Kinn's sister. Keep an eye on my brother." Kim said.

"I know how to do my job, Kim. I don't need you to tell me what I should do and what I shouldn't." Anita said.

"After all you're the head bodyguard. You should know your job and you should do it well."

"It's okay, Hia. You're forgiven." Anita said.

Kinn grinned and hugged Anita tightly. Anita hugged him back as well.

Anita nodded at Kinn and he left. Anita can only hope that this diamond auction goes without any problem.
