38| Criminal, Thug? Same Difference: Epilogue
Last chapter! Congrats if you made it this far. I love you. Forever and always. Oh and Julio Macias (picture above) as Santana.
Relatively short chapter, just an epilogue, so doesn't have to be long right?
☆ KAZENOSUKE ☆
Kazenosuke in the meantime was alive, and ironically?
He had literally just arrived at the front of Thugs & Drugs.
There had been a lot of traffic along the way there, which had inevitably ticked him off, and the dude had switched off his phone as he didn't really want anyone asking him questions.
He would have left his phone on with him, but he didn't because his battery had really sucked, especially when he wasn't using it, plus he didn't know how to turn off the read recipient thing on his phone.
Knocking on the door of Thugs & Drugs, Kazenosuke had really wondered on if he had made the right decision running away and that.
Of course you didn't make the right decision, K! Now your girlfriend is crazy worried about you, and it's all your fault!
He had kept on thinking this to himself, that was until his older cousin Santana had asked him who he was at the other end of the door.
When Kazenosuke had told him that he was Kazenosuke, Santana had then opened the door almost instantaneously, with both of them greeting each other and everything.
"Kazenosuke, man! I ain't seen you in time, bro. How you been?"
"Up and down, Sannie. Up and down. Can I come in?"
"Of course you can."
As they had walked through the drug store together in relative silence, Kazenosuke had totally forgotten about how dangerous it was.
Santana wanted to know why things were up and down for him, so Kazenosuke had told him everything.
He lost Kassandra, Kiandre and his mother - down
But he had now pretty much lived with Destiny, and had her as his amazing girlfriend- up.
Santana had felt really bad for the guy, telling him sorry for his loss and everything.
And if he had known about Kassandra and Kiandre's deaths, then he honestly would have gone to their joint funeral.
Santana had yelled 'give it up for my cousin Kazenosuke!' to everyone when he had arrived downstairs where all the thugs and drug dealers were, with a lot of people fist bumping him and hugging him...
As well as congratulating him on behalf of Destiny being his girlfriend and all because she was absolutely wonderful.
One of them had even offered to play BlackJack with him, as they knew that Kazenosuke had thrashed Kerazin in that back at Same Difference just over three months ago now, however Kazenosuke had completely refused.
This was because he wanted to have some alone time at the back, but he was too scared to ask Santana this, so therefore he didn't really say anything.
Luckily for him though, everybody had understood the fact that he wanted some alone time, so he had then gone off to the bridge, just staring at the sky really.
And it was with him doing this that Destiny had come over to him, although she had kinda thought that Kazenosuke wanted to jump over it, but that wasn't true, he just wanted to admire the view.
"Kazenosuke!" Destiny had called, which had totally surprised him as he knew her voice and everything. "Don't jump off the bridge, I'm telling you! Please don't!"
Normally, when Kazenosuke had seen her, he would have been pretty rude to her for getting involved in his problems without his consent but today he was really happy, as they had hugged each other.
"I wasn't planning to."
But that was all he had said.
He couldn't have been bothered to talk.
He was relatively tired right now.
He had asked if everyone had found him, with Destiny telling him yes and that they were waiting in the car, then she had kinda condemned Kazenosuke for running off like that, especially without her consent.
"Calista and Trevor got shot when we were tryna look for you bro, don't do that ever again!"
"I was depressed. I'm sorry." Kazenosuke had deadpanned, looking right away from her. "It just got too much for me, man. I needed some me time."
Destiny was extremely glad that he was OK, with Kazenosuke glad about the same thing, then they had kissed each other for a really long time, before admiring the view together.
"Missed you baby."
"Missed you too," he told her. "And thanks for always being there for me. You're my number one. I love you."
Destiny had told him that she had loved him too, then they had interlocked their arms together, staring at the sky in complete silence, before Destiny had said anything again.
"You a special thug, you know that right? You don't go round messing with other criminals. It's like you're on an island of your own."
Kazenosuke had smiled widely at that for a bit, before kinda drinking some alcohol before saying anything else really.
Destiny was against him doing this, but she didn't care this time, she hadn't seen him all day.
Plus that was apparently his way of dealing with his problems. He had gone through a lot lately, and he knew how to control himself.
"Mess with a thug, thug messes wit' you. I keep sayin' that. And all criminals here are similar to be honest. Criminal, thug. Same difference."
