37| Rakim To The Rescue
Second to last chapter. Also Rakim (picture above) as himself. Enjoy!
☆ KAZENOSUKE ☆
"Kiandre's grave?! Seriously, Valentina? You had one job, girl! One job!"
"So I can't pay my condolences to him?" Valentina had asked Janette after she had said that. "Girl, have some respect."
Valentina, Candi Rose, Janette and Terrence had just arrived at Kiandre and Kassandra's graves on their way to Thugs & Drugs where hopefully Kazenosuke was.
But the issue was, everybody else in the car had absolutely no idea that Valentina was coming here though, mainly because she didn't really tell anyone about it.
She had just gotten out of the car, with everybody else in the car except from Candi Rose being really annoyed that all of them were here, as they were seriously wasting their time.
Whilst Terrence and Janette were heavily ranting at Valentina for bringing them there, with Valentina arguing with them back...
Candi Rose on the other hand had just felt extremely guilty, and she didn't want to go unnoticed.
"Actually, I think it's really sweet that Valentina has decided to come here to be honest," she had admitted quietly, with everybody literally stopping to stare at her when she had said that.
She was holding the flowers to put on top of Kassandra's grave, whilst Valentina was holding the ones for Kiandre's grave instead.
If Candi Rose knew that they were coming here, then maybe she would have brought flowers for her mother too, but she had gotten cremated yesterday and her ashes were in a vase that was in Kazenosuke / Israel's room.
Valentina had thanked Candi Rose for saying that, before they had then gone over to Kiandre's grave, which was right next to Kassandra's and opposite some other guy.
This dude had died in 2016 (it was 2020 in this story) and he was born in 1915, and he had died three days after his 101st birthday, after having a stroke.
"I guess being here isn't too bad," Janette had whispered to everyone after a while, after feeling really guilty over yelling at Valentina. "I just didn't want to remember the fact that Kiandre's dead."
She would have said Kassandra's name as well, but Kassandra hadn't really gotten along with any of them and vice versa as well, they had found her annoying.
So whilst Valentina and Janette had gone over to Kiandre's grave, Candi Rose and Terrence had gone over to Kassandra's grave instead, to put the flowers there and everything.
Candi Rose had cried really hard when she had put the flowers on top of the grave, because Kiandre and Kassandra being dead had reminded her of her mother being dead, and she couldn't cope.
She had hugged Terrence because of this, who had hugged her back before asking her if she was OK with her brother going missing and all that.
"Of course I'm not OK, Terrence!" She had cried, hugging him really hard. "What if Kazenosuke's dead?"
Honestly, if Valentina knew that being here would have caused terrible memories for Candi Rose, then she wouldn't have gone here but they were already here although they were going to go back soon.
"Don't worry, we'll find him."
"And if he's dead?"
"Stop thinking that, think positively and positive things will happen."
Valentina had then insisted that all four of them had gone over to Thugs & Drugs now to hopefully find Kazenosuke, and that was what they had done.
Janette wanted to call Destiny to find out how far they had gone in finding Kazenosuke, but she didn't realise that the thugs in which her and Kerazin had to run away from had taken both of their phones.
No one knew as well that Calista and Trevor were dead right now, but that wasn't the problem- the SatNav had apparently run out of battery but Valentina had accidentally left it at home by mistake.
"What do you mean you left it at home by mistake?" Terrence rasped. "Kerazin said that Thugs & Drugs isn't on Google Maps because it's illegal."
That was true, he had said that.
And now they literally had no one for help, as neither Destiny, Kerazin, Calista or Trevor had picked up their phones or they had answered their calls either.
That was until Janette had remembered that they could have gone to Rakim's house.
"But Kerazin, Destiny and the rest of them are doing that."
"Yeah, Candi Rose, but we haven't heard from them since," Valentina had reminded her, sighing over the thought of that, as she was worried that they weren't OK.
She had then asked Terrence where Rakim's house was, and he had told them, with them using Google Maps to get themselves there, and it had taken them approximately twenty minutes to do so.
"Kazenosuke?" Rakim had repeated after Terrence had asked him about it. "Nah, man. I haven't heard from him in about two weeks. We don't really talk that much."
All four of them had just arrived at Rakim's house, although because the girls didn't exactly know Rakim on a personal level and Terrence did..
He had therefore told them to wait in the car whilst he had gone over to talk to Rakim.
Rakim was a chill guy, he really was, but the only problem was that he had smoked a lot, and smoke was everywhere as Terrence was talking to him.
He was now blowing on a cigarette whilst sitting down reading the note that Kazenosuke had written to Destiny's family.
But he had just finished reading it, with Terrence bringing it in the first place in case Rakim hadn't believed him that Kazenosuke had actually run away.
"Can you help us find him?"
"But what if he's already dead?"
Yeah, but the note had said that he wasn't planning on dying.
Although then again...
Kazenosuke might have just lied about that so as not to scare anyone or to make them worry about him less.
However that wasn't the only reason on why they had needed Rakim though.
Nobody had heard from Kerazin and Destiny since, because they weren't picking up their phones or answering their text messages either.
"You really want my help, huh?"
"More than anything."
"But how you finna find Kerazin and Destiny?"
That was a good question to be honest.
Everyone in the car had tried using a GPS tracker on both of them, but that hadn't seemed to be working out either.
Terrence was literally about to say something but he had completely stifled it immediately after the news had come up at the most convenient time.
Because it was about Kerazin and Destiny.
Two teenagers have been claimed to run into this forest but no one has seen them come out.
We don't know if they're alive or not, but apparently they're trapped in a house by unknowingly ex serial killers Susannah & Antonio Reeds.
Some thugs were tryna kill them earlier, but they had managed to escape. Their names apparently are Kerazin and Destiny but no one has heard or seen them since.
"We gotta find them before they get killed though, because we don't want anything bad happening to them. You gotta come with us, Rakim. I'm begging you. Do it for Kazenosuke, man. Do it for Kazenosuke."
Rakim had remained pretty silent for a while, seriously thinking about it.
Then after what felt like forever but was really only thirty seconds, he had given Terrence a condition that they had to let him drive, which Terrence had agreed to, so they had gone off to rescue both Kerazin and Destiny before it was too late.
Whilst they were all doing that, Kerazin and Destiny in the meantime were really trapped.
They should have known that both of them were serial killers from the start though but they hadn't, which was exactly why both of them were in this very terrible predicament right now.
They weren't allowed to leave the house though, they had tried escaping through the windows and everything, but Susannah had caught them doing that so she had decided to seek revenge.
The window was still open, however both Kerazin and Destiny were strapped together with chairs back to back with ropes.
They had also used sellotape to cover their mouths, which Destiny had luckily managed to remove after like twenty minutes, and now she had helped Kerazin do the same thing.
But they were still pretty much strapped to the chair.
"This is all your fault!" She had murmured to him. "Maybe if you hadn't skipped their tea and biscuits, then we wouldn't have been in this situation right now!"
"Oh, so this is all my fault now?!" Kerazin had argued back. "You found this stupid house in the first place, and now we've only got ten minutes left to live. And we don't know what they could have put in their tea and biscuits. They could have been poisonous, Destiny."
They were pretty much hopeless at this point, honestly.
Susannah and Antonio for some reason had set a one hour timer on them, aka how many minutes left until both of them had died.
Rakim and everyone else in the meantime were still making their way to the forest, with Rakim saying that he was going to go and rescue them whilst the rest of them should have waited in the car.
"What's wrong with you, Destiny?" He condemned, staring her down like crazy. "What did I say to you about tryna help Kazenosuke? Don't do it! Unless stated otherwise. Unless he wants you to."
That was what Kerazin had said to Destiny before, when she was trying to get involved in his problems, and now Destiny could have totally seen why he didn't want anyone to do that.
He didn't want them getting hurt in the process.
After about an hour or so, they had just arrived at the forest, with Rakim trying to keep a low profile as everyone had waited in the car in a place where no one would have been able to see them.
Because Kerazin and Destiny had absolutely no idea that Rakim was coming to go and collect them, when Kerazin had seen him enter through the window, he was honestly very surprised.
"Rakim?!" Kerazin had shouted in happiness when had seen him. "What are you doing here? And how did you find out we were here anyway? Our phones got taken away."
Rakim had just told both of them really that they were on the news, and he would have done anything to help out his nephew Kazenosuke.
He was trying really hard to rescue them, and he had rescued Kerazin kind of flawlessly, however Destiny had caused more problems because Susannah & Antonio had noticed what he was doing.
Rakim had realised that there was a gun lying somewhere in the cupboard, so he had therefore shot both Susannah and Antonio before they had the chance to do that to him, and he had stopped the timer in the process as well.
After all of this had happened, Rakim had then rescued Destiny, with all three of them making their way back to the 7 seater car (whilst trying to keep a low profile at the same time) and off to find Kazenosuke.
"Where's Calista and Trevor?" Rakim wanted to know.
"They died, sadly," Destiny had reminded him. "Now we just seriously gotta find Kazenosuke before he does the exact same thing."
Hopefully not though, that would have really sucked as that meant that all of this would have been for no reason whatsoever.
And they didn't want that.
