"I just kinda thought that we had a connection, you know?" Destiny told her friends back at her house. "Guess not."

Like before the five of them had gone to Richard Gold to shop for Same Difference tonight, Destiny was locked up in her room with her friends, talking about her unfortunate situation with Kiandre.

Valentina & Calista were sitting down on her bed, Destiny was sitting down on her studying chair, Esmeralda was sitting down on the floor & Janette was sitting down on a pink pillow on the chair.

Because there was absolutely no way that the girl was getting her brand new trousers dirty on the dusty old carpet.

But obviously.

No offence to Destiny, before she had started losing it like she had almost always did when someone had insulted her, joking or not.

Destiny had to sneak her friends into her house (like before they had gone to the shops & McDonald's) because her mother didn't exactly know that they were in there. She had absolutely hated all of them, because she had believed that they were all bad influences on her, especially Esmeralda.

Destiny could see why.

And it wasn't unlike her to go against her mother's wishes, but not having her friends over (especially during the summer holiday) was stupid.

So Denise (Destiny's mother) just wanted her daughter to spend time with her siblings 24/7?

Not going to happen.

Destiny's friends had mattered too.

Family had mattered more than friends, but... Destiny had believed that both were equally important as she couldn't really have lived without any of them.

Destiny had been talking about Kiandre since her and her friends had been at home, so for precisely ten minutes now, and surprisingly, none of them had seemed to mind.

Yet.

All of her friends were pretty much ready for Same Difference tonight except her because she had kept on lamenting about the loss of Kiandre.

Janette was wearing a sleeve silver dress with yellow stars on it & yellow high heels.

Calista = Sleeveless short red straight dress + tons of make up & black sandals (black went with everything).

Esmeralda = Puffy turquoise dress with red hearts and turquoise flats (she hated high heels).

Valentina = Checkered jacket, blue T Shirt with her name on it in neon writing, Black All star converses & black relatively ripped jeans.

"Dresses just ain't for me, sis!" Valentina had told Destiny the other day, when Destiny was standing round her house & she wanted to know why Valentina wasn't wearing a dress to Esmeralda's 17th birthday party last year.

Trousers suit me way better, but maybe that's just me. Sorry.

They had all curled their hair, except Calista who straightened hers and Esmeralda, whose hair was naturally an Afro so she couldn't really do anything to it.

Everyone was wearing make up except Janette as she didn't like it, and neither did Destiny too for that matter so if she was forced to wear one then that would have been a downright no for her.

Destiny had never ever in her life thought that she would have lost Kiandre whilst he was still alive but she had literally just done so today, when the guy had somewhat kindly rejected her.

Gosh, if Destiny was upset over losing Kiandre whilst he was still alive, then what would her life had been like when Kiandre had died?

Probably endless crying, leading to dying with him.

This girl was obsessed, and it seriously needed to stop.

"So what if Kiandre rejects you, boo? There are plenty of other fish in the sea."

Someone needed to say that.

Despite this though, Destiny had sighed to herself, at the thought of not being able to talk or hear from Kiandre again.

Kiandre still could have probably talked to her...

Although they could have only done so as friends, which Destiny would have found hard to do because she had found it extremely difficult for her to talk to someone she had a crush on platonically.

But even then... would Kiandre really have talked to her?

Esmeralda had literally humiliated the dude, twice.

Destiny had also told her friends about her rejection, even though it seriously didn't concern them at all. Though she didn't have a choice- they were her best friends & she had practically told them everything.

Kiandre was in a bad mood because of Destiny.

Thinking about Destiny had probably made Kiandre sick now, because if Kiandre had thought about her then his thoughts would have most likely brought up the fact that he had rejected her, which everyone had seemed to be against for some reason.

"I feel like this is all my fault though," Valentina lamented. "If I hadn't pressured Destiny to confess her feelings to Kiandre then I feel like none of this would have happened."

"No, Valentina, don't beat yourself up, you were only trying to help," Destiny reassured her. "Even if Kiandre and I had more conversations, he would still probably have rejected me anyway, because apparently, there was no spark between us."

And Kiandre had said that very rudely as well.

Regardless of the amount of quote unquote 'meaningful' conversations we have, I would probably still like you as a friend. No offence though, there's just no spark between us.

Who had rejected someone like that?

Kiandre had seriously needed someone life lessons from Kassandra, who had unsurprisingly rejected countless people in her life?

Kassandra's type?

She didn't even like bad boys that much, to be honest.

She had liked worthless pushovers that could have done stuff for her voluntarily... or rich guys.

Hence why she was so stuck up half the time.

Destiny & her friends had been talking about Kiandre for a while, except Esmeralda surprisingly, who usually had the most things to say in their group.

But just not today.

No one had realised much that Esmeralda wasn't saying anything, until Calista had accidentally on purpose stared at the girl, wondering why she was being so quiet.

"Esmeralda?" She called, everyone literally staring at the girl straight after that. "You haven't said a word. You OK?"

No, Esmeralda wasn't OK.

Why?

She had kept on repeating the video, the one she had said on Instagram to tell everyone to go and unfollow Kiandre.

She had repeated it on low sound though, so that nobody else could have heard the video but her. Despite the somewhat light hearted video, not all of the comments there were light hearted.

This was from Kiandre himself, and it had said this:

Yo, how long is this feud between us gonna last for, man? I've lost 150+ followers because of you. Is this what you wanted? Hope you live to regret this. Don't know what you're tryna do, tryna get everyone against me & on Destiny's side instead but it ain't working.

That was what Esmeralda wanted... as in Kiandre losing followers, but Sekani was right. Maybe she had taken it a bit too far, perhaps?

Esmeralda had even remembered what Sekani had told her as well.

I know y'all are mad that Kiandre rejected Destiny... but don't you think you're taking this a bit too far, Esmeralda? Kiandre can't control who he has feelings for- and he didn't really have any feelings for Destiny right now... is that a crime?

Esmeralda didn't even know that she hadn't answered Calista's question as she was too focused on that video on Instagram, and when Destiny realised that her friend had zoned out, she had decided to call her name again in order to get her attention.

For the second time.

"Guys, look at the comments I'm getting on this video on Instagram," she had showed them, everyone gathering round to see what Esmeralda was talking about.

Destiny & Valentina hadn't actually seen the video yet, and Valentina was literally about to click the video to see what it was about, until Esmeralda had realised what she was doing, smacking her hand lightly in the process.

"No, girl, don't press it!" Esmeralda snapped. "But I was basically dissing Kiandre."

When Destiny had heard that, she had become furious, because now Kiandre was probably never going to speak to her again, and she knew it.

"Why would you do that, girl?"

"Exactly what I was thinking, chica. You took the words right out of my mouth."

The negative comments Esmeralda had received weren't all of the negative comments in the video of course, and their usernames weren't going to be revealed for security reasons.

Even Esmeralda's follower count had dropped as well, but not as much as Kiandre's.

Definitely not as much as Kiandre's. Kiandre had lost about 300+ followers now but Esmeralda had only lost 70.

73, but one didn't want to be too precise.

"I was just doing it for jokes but now I realise I've taken this too far, even if the comment section is surprisingly more positive than negative."

Janette wanted to know why Esmeralda hadn't deleted the video yet, with Esmeralda telling her friends that she had never ever received this much attention in any of her posts before.

Ever.

"Just delete it girl, it's the most responsible thing to do," Calista suggested, which Esmeralda had sighed to before rolling her eyes comically and doing what she was told.

She had also wanted to apologise to Kiandre as well, but she had a feeling that Kiandre had blocked her.

And...

He did.

Janette had suggested that maybe she should have apologised to Kiandre for her, but surprise, surprise.

Kiandre had blocked her too.

And Calista.

And Valentina.

That had left Destiny, and inevitably, if Kiandre had blocked all of her friends then he was most likely going to do the same thing to her to, for causing all of this.

But surprisingly, the dude didn't block her.

Although when Destiny was about to talk to him on Instagram, Kiandre had realised that he hadn't blocked her, so he had therefore blocked her instead.

"He's blocked all of us," Janette realised. "But screw him. We don't need him! Sisters before misters!"

The girls had agreed to that, before Calista had told Destiny to get ready for Same Difference as everybody else in the group was pretty much ready except her.
