"So, basically, we're all stuck like this until we get back home...?" Naruto inquired, after having him and Sakura tell their story on how they arrived, whilst you and Kakashi explain everything of your situation back to the duo afterwards, trusting them to retell it to Sasuke once he wakes.
Due to the uninvited parties within your and Kakashi's heads, you told your students beforehand to not address their village by name, but by the term 'home'. The less your borrowed bodies know about your country, the better-- for all Ashido and Kaminari are concerned, the techniques you all casually mention are just part of your story regarding how you belong in a place where multi-quirk users thrive; with chakra being just another term for 'energy' where you're from.
However, there are some particular parts you cannot censor, like how Team 7 changed appearance, and your unintentional body swap overall. The best reason you can come up with to them was that this was a training accident. Half-assed, you know, but they bought it anyway. There's nothing else that can explain this without having them think outside of their world-- literally, so it wasn't entirely difficult to convince them.
You're just lucky you ended up with the dullest crayon in the box, second only to Kaminari.
Then again, you can always just ask Sasuke to brainwash them via Sharingan, but you'd like that as last resolve as much as possible. Having him wipe up a lot of the teenagers' memories might lead to undesirable damage. Besides, you don't like to deal with Mina's incessant questioning that can easily be identified as interrogation, once she acknowledges you're literally from a different world.
So, keeping secrets it is.
"Unfortunately," You sighed, making sure that there's enough leftover ramen left for the unconscious member, who is left resting in one of the two bedrooms; with you and Kakashi occupying one, with the rest occupying the other. You're certain that Sasuke would regain consciousness sometime tomorrow.
"This sucks," The blond sniffed, before taking another slurp of his ramen.
"Well, it is one of our job descriptions to adapt," Kakashi quipped, before setting down his chopsticks, somehow finishing his bowl within seconds, without removing his mask (or so you think?).
"Still sucks."
"At least we have (Y/n)-sensei and Kakashi-sensei with us." Sakura optimistically stated.
"Still su--" Naruto froze when you gave him a look; your eyes no longer covered with the shades you only wear outside of your abode. "Haha, kidding, nee-chan!" He grinned good-naturedly.
Dinner at the small apartment has never been livelier than it currently is, as you and Kakashi don't really bother to distract yourselves through white noise. However, now that the original Team 7 members (minus Sasuke) are present, the room became a lot brighter than it usually was; you could tell that even Kakashi wordlessly agrees.
The kids really are your remedies, especially now that they look like how you saw them when they first became genin. It honestly makes you feel younger (no, you do not admit you're old and no, you will never admit this to anyone; over your dead body). While it may be true that they're technically still genin due to not retaking the chuunin exams (except Sakura), their skill sets say otherwise, however due to... circumstances, their capabilities were limited.
No summoning contracts, no Strength of the Hundred Seal, no Sage Mode, and no Rinnegan. They're all a clean slate.
"But... how do we even get home?" Naruto asked, before Sakura answered with reassurance.
"The same way how we got here-- through Sasuke's borrowed Mangekyou Sharingan. We just have to wait for him to replenish his chakra."
"Why can't you just restore his chakra now?" He queried impatiently, whilst Sakura furrowed her eyebrows in self-contemplation, as if she already had that thought before.
"That's the thing," The pinkette started, as you and Kakashi slowly grew concerned at her change of tone. "This body forgot how to do majority of the techniques Tsunade-shishou taught me. My techniques no longer feel instinctual. It's like I have to re-learn them."
"Now that you mention it, me too," Naruto supplied. "I mean, I know how to do them, like the tree-walking technique, but it's harder than I last remembered."
"Well, while we were resting, I meditated and checked my chakra pools," Sakura filled in. "They're definitely a lot smaller than I last remembered; probably retaining that of our genin selves along with our bodies. Your disproportionateYin chakra isn't really that detrimental, since you barely use it. I, however, find that advantageous since I mainly need it for iryo ninjutsu. Though, since we're back at square one, we'd have to expand our chakra storage to reach back to our primes. The reason why we're having difficulty using chakra is because we subconsciously adjusted to our growing chakra pools as years of training went by."
"Agh! We really did turn back into our newly-graduated days?!" The boy's head slumped on the table, beside his bowl of half-finished ramen.
"I'm honestly surprised you even understood anything I just said,"
"Hey!"
"Well, based on your inputs, that's exactly how it is," You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose. "In any case, that's the least of our concerns, unless Sasuke fails to transport us all back. This place doesn't really revolve around fighting, other than petty assaults, but it would be best to train just in case."
"Maah, if all else fails, we settle with fuuinjutsu. We do have a fuuinjutsu specialist with us, after all," Kakashi reassured further, his eyes crinkling into that familiar eye smile. "Now that not only do we have one properly functioning chakra pathway system, we have three. (Y/n), here, no longer has to worry about trivial technicalities like having the paper turn into ashes or having seals blow up on her face and temporarily coloring her face and hair black."
"Hilarious," Rolling your eyes, you added. "That was only one time."
"Well, the memory lasts a lifetime, like your other incidents,"
"Getting sentimental now, are we, old man?"
"Old man? Maybe you're the one getting old, because in case your eyes can't see, I have blond hair now,"
Leaning towards the kids, you loudly whispered.
"Denial is part of aging. You of all people know this, Sakura," You winked, as the blonde and pinkette snickered at the your familiar antics.
"Me? Denial? I--" The bickering was cut short when the device you had on your person rang its annoying ringtone.
Internally groaning, you motioned for everyone to quiet down, as you retrieved the foreign yet familiar device from your pocket.
"Woah, nee-chan, what's th--"
"Shh!" Now sure that the group won't peep a word, you answered your phone. "Kaa-san, you called!"
...
Sakura Haruno was beyond relieved.
Of all places the Kamui could've taken them to, they ended up in the same reality where Kakashi-sensei's and (Y/n)-sensei's chakras continue living in. At first, she was skeptical when Naruto informed her of this, as she believes their luck couldn't be that good, can it? Considering they're Team 7, all things that could go wrong will go wrong.
But not this time, thankfully.
"Kaa-san, you called!"
Watching the older woman within the skin of Mina Ashido, Sakura could never get over how smoothly you roll yourself into a stranger to match the expectation of the caller-- a different person; from your speech pattern to the tone of your voice. She's already aware of your reputation within the specialization of infiltration, but she never really did saw it from up-close, as their team specializes more in being heavy-hitters, despite you being part of their team (somewhat).
It wasn't long when you ended the call with a huff-- either of relief or of exasperation, she does not know.
"Sorry, that was Mina's mother. Today was our second villain attack and she got worried," You informed them, a hand running through your pink hair, careful to avoid the horns. "Guess that even our Team 7 luck was brought along with us,"
"But what was that rectangle thing?! It's like a mini TV!" Naruto, who sat beside her, exclaimed in wonder, eyeing the small pink machine that her teacher is holding.
"It's called a cellphone. They're mainly used for communication; it also covers long distance." You explained, as Sakura's emerald eyes stared at the peculiar device. This world's technology advancements really are out of their league. While they excel in physical and spiritual conditioning, this place excels in machines and inventions-- things you would definitely be interested in, and would hope to reverse-engineer and apply them back at home, in Konoha.
Their war-torn world thrives in designing creative ways of destruction, whilst this place thrives in crafting beneficial creations in their time of peace.
Knowledge has a beginning but has no end, you once quoted. Although, the pinkette didn't expect back then that you learned that saying from the Snake Sannin, who was once your tutor of some sorts. But...
Knowledge is useless without application. Back when she was still a genin, Sakura was unsure if you were addressing her or yourself when you told her this. It was a lesson for her, yes, but the way she heard it, it sounded like you were berating yourself.
"Can we get a cellphone?!" Naruto enthusiastically asked, his curiosity definitely peaked.
"No, we're not buying you phones," You replied without hesitation. "I heard these things can be traced and can collect any data you put in it. All of you three have no birth certificates, no passport, no identifications to fall back to if worse comes to worst. Things will get complicated if they can't find any data regarding you, unlike me and Kakashi who can hide behind the identities of these bodies."
"Not unless we're orphans. That's what we told the Hawks guy and he believed us, no problem!" Sakura slapped her forehead in exasperation, due to Naruto's admission of their earlier mishap. She was hoping they wouldn't have to bring that up, as Sasuke had already taken care of it.
"What? You guys made contact with someone?" You glowered disapprovingly at them, as Naruto sheepishly smiled at you, before the pinkette explained themselves.
"Sasuke made him forget though!"
"I thought you said you guys didn't meet anyone during your search for us," Kakashi raised an eyebrow.
"Well, we wouldn't exactly call it a meeting if he didn't even remember us," Sakura shyly smiled back.
"What am I gonna do with you brats?" You murmured, a hand on your forehead.
"Love us?" Naruto beamed, unabashed.
Sakura is glad to have her main family back together.
However, a part of her is curious if one of Kaminari's parents already contacted Kakashi, like Ashido's did with the female Uchiha.
~*~*~
Classes were cancelled today, so you and Kakashi have the whole day to yourselves (with Team 7, of course). The agenda you have for today was to finally apply and test the theoretical seals you sketched during your pointless classes, now that you have Sakura to apply the satisfactory amount of chakra to activate them, doubling as a chakra control exercise for her.
You were rather thankful for Mina's silence when it counts, and you let her know of this. She knows your conversations with your family were private, and she knows you don't need any of her inputs. While she can't help but hear them, she just chooses not to say anything.
While the rest were having breakfast (it was Sakura's turn in the kitchenette), you took it upon yourself to check on Sasuke's condition. Quietly entering the trio's small bedroom, you easily evaded the used futons, your hands securing a bowl of cold water to refresh the damp towel on your adoptive nephew's forehead.
Kneeling next to his body, you were about to grab the used cloth, when your wrist was suddenly grabbed by a very alert Sasuke.
Knowing he's about to stand upright immediately, you held him back, forcing him to remain lying down. The last thing you need of him was to sway on his feet and force himself to run in adrenaline, regressing his recovery.
"Who the hell are you?" You can tell that he was hesitant in attacking you, as your chakra was familiar, whilst your appearance was not.
"It's me, (Y/n)," Slowly, you helped him sit up, his guard not yet faltering. "It's kind of a long story, but Naruto and Sakura will tell you of our situation later."
He examined you thoroughly with Obito's Sharingan, checking your chakra in case it was fabricated to imitate the false sense of familiarity. While at least he was cautious, he shouldn't be abusing the Mangekyou like that.
"I wouldn't recommend wasting your chakra like that," You softly reprimanded, before giving him back his hitai-ate, wordlessly telling him to cover the permanent Sharingan.
"... Tell me one thing that only me and (Y/n) knows-- something not even nii-san knows." The ravenet tested, his onyx eye still scanning you for any visible deception.
Solemnly smiling, you told him.
"Shisui was my first kiss."
'Who's Shisui?' Mina wondered.
Sasuke's shoulders visibly relaxed at your answer, though they still retained some stiffness, you noticed.
"Ah, so it really is you, (Y/n)-sensei. You're safe." He conceded, whilst looking down, avoiding eye contact. You briefly looked away, before finding the courage to finally confront the boy.
"What happened to (Y/n)-nee?" With an encouraging smile, you coaxed him into talking by lightly teasing him, hoping to create an inviting atmosphere.
"..."
"Not even (Y/n)-obasan?" You tried again, but he still remained silent, his eyes never leaving the blanket he has in his tightened fists. Sighing, you relented and started talking. "We haven't talked for months ever since the war. You always tried to avoid encountering me; don't think I haven't noticed."
"I... don't know what you're talking about," He pitifully murmured, barely a whisper.
"... I don't hate you, if that's what you're thinking," This seemed to have caught his attention, as he then finally looked at you-- charcoal meeting amber. "Disappointed, yes; maybe a bit angry, but I don't hate you. I never hated you."
"Then you should start." He solemnly stated, before looking back down.
"You're right. I should," The boy minutely flinched at your blunt honesty. "But I won't. I don't think I could, since I practically raised you ever since that day, didn't I?"
"..."
"Though, don't get me wrong. I haven't forgiven you," His head only lowered at your confession, his bottom lip quivering as you continued on listing every one of his sins. "You attempted to kill Sakura, Kakashi; almost killed Naruto; abandoned the village; abandoned me, despite everything I told you," Your voice almost cracked at the end, but you somehow salvaged your even tone. "I trusted you."
During those dark days, Sasuke ignored your lessons; your warnings; your feelings, in favor of satisfying his blind rage against his older brother. Power-hungry, megalomaniac, obsessed-- his days of ignorance. Looking back at it in your shoes, it must have been painful.
To watch someone you raised with love fall into the depths of hatred.
You did your best efforts for him to open up, by starting with yourself. You told him of your vulnerabilities, and he told you of his; you thought you were making progress with him. Yet, the day he followed Orochimaru in his venture towards darkness told you enough of what he thought of your lessons regarding letting go of hatred and moving on.
It was his way of saying you were wrong; you must be, as he refuses to see reason.
But in the end, it was him who was proven wrong.
The fulfillment of his hatred only rewarded him with emptiness. The black of his heart may have been drained, but it was left with no other color; for, black was all it has ever known.
Grief, anger, hatred, grief, anger-- a vicious cycle, he learned to break through a sobering lesson; a lesson he learned from his brother.
"I don't forgive you. Not yet. You know me," You finally spoke, as Sasuke's form started trembling. "Redemption is more than just an apology, as actions speak louder than words. However..." The ravenet choked out a quiet sob, trying to hide his face in his high-collared shirt, recalling the last words Itachi told him with a smile.
The lesson he learned...
You don't have to forgive me. No matter what you do from here on out,
"Know this... I will always love you."
The urge to protect your loved ones will always triumph against hatred towards your enemies.
"S-sorry-- I-I'm so-sorry--"
After a long time, Sasuke Uchiha finally cried.
Not of grief. Not of sadness. But of happiness.
Because even after every unforgivable thing he has done...
Sasuke did not hesitate to accept your embrace, the moment you wrapped your arms around him; your chin resting on his head, as he continuously sobbed his regrets on your shoulder.
Someone is still willing to unconditionally love him like Itachi did.

"Eraserhead is unable to attend this meeting, along with All Might due to their injuries. It's best to get started now, as we have a lot to cover today. First thing's first, your report, Thirteen?" Principal Nezu addressed the Space Hero among the board of teachers, as the helmet-wearing individual stuttered out their response.
"R-right!" They started, before dutifully laying out their observations regarding yesterday's incident. "After lunchtime, the students arrived at the USJ sometime around 1:48 noon. Shortly after, the League of Villains arrived at the central plaza through one of their members with a warping quirk. The alarms were down, as well as the communication signals. The warp-user then appeared in front of us with the intent to scatter us in different zones filled with villains beforehand, but was immediately apprehended by two students: Ashido Mina and Kaminari Denki, with the former serving as distraction, and the latter shocking the warp-user unconscious,"
"Good call on instructing them, Thirteen!" Present Mic praised, temporarily interrupting the report.
"... The thing is, the students acted in their own volition without my instructions,"
"... Oh..."
"Reckless, but at least they succeeded," Vlad King remarked, urging for Thirteen to continue.
"Believe me when I say: those two are anything but reckless," The Space Hero stated confidently, as this perked up the board's interest further. "The two worked well-- too well, as if everything was staged and they knew what to do from the start. Their teamwork is admirable,"
"So prodigy duos, huh?" Ectoplasm offhandedly commented, before humorously adding, "Better step up your class' game, Vlad King,"
"Hm, so they didn't freeze in encountering a villain. This probably has something do with their experience few days prior," Snipe supplied, before the Blood Hero could even retort.
"They were absent for two days after, weren't day?" Midnight inquired thoughtfully.
"Aizawa told me that there was something off about the two with how different they acted when they returned," Present Mic contributed, with Ectoplasm following right after.
"I mean, murder was involved in that incident, wasn't it? It must have been quite a shock,"
"Trauma can change you. I've seen people do a complete 180 in their personalities," Midnight agreed.
"Anyway," Thirteen continued. "Todoroki Shouto, Bakugou Katsuki, and Kirishima Eijirou joined in,"
The Space Hero recalled every detail they could, until eventually stopping at the part when Kaminari handed Aizawa's injured body to them and Midoriya, forcing them to retreat. That was the end of Thirteen's witnessing, with Aizawa and Yagi being the other witnesses.
"While arresting Shigaraki, didn't the guy have burnt pinky fingers?" Snipe asked, with Midnight responding.
"Acid burns. And coincidentally, one of the students's quirk match the injury."
"Yikes." Present Mic shivered.
"Hm," Nezu started before finally inserting his input. "The reporters served as a distraction for the retrieval of our schedule, with All Might as target in mind..." Then off went the principal, with the mammal consciously keeping his conclusions to himself.
He would have to test his hypothesis, first and foremost.
