Assessment
You and Kakashi intentionally woke up late.
With Kaminari and Ashido nagging you both to hurry up, you didn't get to apply your experimental seals on your body, and left your students to their own devices. They know the house rules: no leaving the apartment; no contacting outsiders on Mina's laptop (you let them do their own research in the internet; Sakura needs this the most); don't let strangers in; no practicing destructive jutsus; and especially of all, Sakura cooks lunch-- this is not up for debate.
It wasn't a surprise that you arrived late in class again (it was only thirty minutes, but Mina scolded you like it took you hours), making a scene for yourselves. While you were unbothered with the attention fixated on you, you were subtly fazed that they're already in the middle of an activity, seeing your classmates line up (with some already seated) to the front towards the school's nurse, Recovery Girl. Additionally, your class adviser was surprisingly present, albeit wrapped in bandages from head to toe; his arms immobilized.
It was your class president that reacted first, breaking the staring stalemate.
"Unacceptable! As future-heroes, you should do your best efforts to be punctual! This should not be reoccurring habit!" Iida really does remind you of Konohamaru's tutor, Ebisu.
"Sorry, you see, we helped an old lady cross a road and she offered to buy us dango, but then there's this annual dango eating contest, and I just had to join with Mina watching," Kakashi gave the class an eye-smile. "I lost."
The students' reactions were priceless.
"LIAR!" Mineta, Sero, and Hagakure exclaimed, pointing accusingly at the blond next to you, while Iida had the second to think over if what Kakashi said was true (you found it entertaining that the bluenet even considered it).
"You're right, I actually won." Your partner amended, which had the vocal students react.
"HAH?!" ... This is an uncannily familiar experience with Team 7.
You heard Aizawa sigh with exasperation, while Recovery Girl only shook her head with an amused smile.
"Anyway, now that you two are here, line up at the back. We're having a drug blood test today." Your adviser announced, which had you and Kakashi obey immediately, although you both shared a knowing glance at each other once reaching the back of the line. You wordlessly assured Kakashi that, yes indeed, it's normal for some schools (particularly private) to have surprise drug tests annually.
To somewhat ease your nerves, you both pretended that your blood samples were being taken by a newbie staff from Konoha Hospital.
It took a lot of willpower and self-control to not act on paranoia and grab Recovery Girl's hand that held the needle, then fling her across the room.
Besides that, there were no difficulties obtaining Mina's and Kaminari's blood.
~*~*~
"Lunch period will be extended for an hour due to all staffs aiding in testing all blood samples for possible drug-usage. Results will be in, afterwards, but for now, English class is cancelled. Other than that, your fight's not yet over... UA's Sports Festival is fast approaching!"
"That's so ordinary!"
'Are you gonna participate in the Sports Festival for me?'
'Nice try; don't cheat yourself.'
'It was an attempt.'
Partially listening, you understood the gist of your adviser's pronouncement. The next two weeks have classes cancelled as preparation for the upcoming event. The UA Sports Festival is a national event; the equivalent of your Chuunin Exams (or, according to Aizawa, the Olympics, whatever the hell that is). A chance to show potential, and hope to be accepted under a big-named hero's wing; not really a promotion of rank, but it's a step forward to a successful hero career. Despite the USJ Incident, the event would continue on as a show of the school's confidence towards their security.
However, you already doubted their security, as not only did the USJ Incident happen within Japan's top hero school, the two leaders of the League of Villains also managed to escape with an intervention from a third party on their way to Tartarus (it was all over the news for two days and is still on-going; it was hard to miss). Tartarus, as you've understood it, is a high maintenance prison; it's filled with specialized cells that's purposed to house top-tiered criminals, ergo their guards are not people to be scoffed at.
To have an unknown group kill every escort of the two villains was very alarming-- someone doesn't want them to be caught, and is doing great lengths to do just that.
Then again, results may be different in the event, as Aizawa mentioned something about UA commissioning T.R.E.E.S. to overlook the school's surveillance along with their own staffs. Although, the organization was still in its prototype stage.
Still...
You wondered why the villains targeted All Might, in the first place. Was it because he held the Number One Hero/Symbol of Peace title or was it his person, specifically? If the latter, why? He has a charismatic personality, you guessed; popular with the masses. He could potentially be a political figure. Was it the hostile's aim to crush hope? Stir uproar from the public? Personal issues? Grudges?
Or was it because he's standing in the way of the group's goal? He is pretty capable, after all-- you've seen his strength and speed, first hand; comparable to an elite jounin, if not kage. That's pretty impressive.
And dangerous.
Then again, why worry? This has no longer anything to do with you--
You were snapped out of your thoughts when Aizawa called for you and Kakashi.
"Kaminari; Ashido, outside the classroom with me."
Ah, so he's finally taking actions for his suspicions towards you. You can finally have that talk you owed him to move to phase two of your conviction plan. Once that's taken care of, hopefully, Kaminari and Ashido would be less scrutinized by their own teacher when they return back to the characters they were formerly known for. After all, after today, there would be no need for you and Kakashi to take over for them in attending school. Their academics will only be tampered by their own efforts (you remember promising Mina in helping her ace them, but she didn't exactly take your offer. Selfishly, you hoped she forgot it).
Standing from your seat, along with Kakashi, you both followed the bandaged noiret outside, leaving the room that erupted in gossips the moment the door closed behind you.
"You think they're in trouble?"
"What for?"
"Well, they did disobey Thirteen-sensei-- that's one possibility."
"If that's the case, then shouldn't Todoroki, Bakugou, and I be part of it too?"
"It's because they failed the standards of being a proper hero by being late twice!"
"That's too shallow of a reason, Iida-kun."
"What if they're not in trouble?" All eyes then landed on Midoriya, which caused the greenet to sputter out his following theories, obviously flustered from their expectant stares. "Y-y'know? Because t-they performed spectacularly d-during the USJ a-attack, a-and de-demonstrated how to e-efficiently incapacitate--" The rest came out as unintelligible mumbling, but the class still understood the point Midoriya was trying to say.
"Yeah, what if they were rewarded or something?"
"Maybe some hero already invited them for an internship."
"To think we thought they were idiots."
"Yeah, it's... honestly unexpected; no offense to them, of course, but my judgement was based on their performance during the Battle Training."
"They thought it was hide-and-seek."
"It was a complete 180 with how different they are now."
"And it all started to show after their first villain encounter."
Bakugou and Todoroki tuned out the rest of the class' conversation.
...
"I saw how you fought, along with some witnesses," Aizawa started, with you already knowing where this was going. The only thing he managed to witness was you and Kakashi battling some goons; not the noumu and not the leader, as he was unconscious by that time. At this point, you were hoping that luck was on your side and that there were only a handful of witnesses (preferably one or two) that saw you with the noumu and what Kakashi attempted to the leader (that way, claiming that the witnesses were exaggerating could still be feasible, as Aizawa wasn't able to see it for himself). "I told you then to retreat with the rest of the class, and yet you stayed. With how you both escaped without a scratch, unlike I did, I can assume that your skill levels were beyond what you showed in the Battle Training."
"Why aren't Todoroki, Bakugou, and Kirishima involved in this conversation? They were part of the fight too,"
"Because unlike you and Kaminari, their efforts and skills were consistent,"
"We always knew how to properly fight. It's just that there was no life risked in that training activity, so we didn't take it as seriously," You answered, watching for any subtle reaction from your adviser (the white strips of cloth were really obstructing his features). "What happened in the convenience store and USJ were different."
"Where did you learn to fight?"
"We were personally trained,"
"By who?"
"Hatake and Uchiha," You gave two names to at least insinuate that you don't have the same trainers; that Ashido and Kaminari are not always together and were trained separately, yet you mentioning both names gave the impression that there were joint trainings. It was not necessary to lie about your designations; you and Kakashi have no personal records--digital nor paper-- in this world. Nevertheless, you didn't give full names in case Aizawa were to uselessly search for them; the names you gave him can vaguely either be a surname or a first name.
"When did you learn to fight?"
The hallway was empty, as classes were still on-going (it only just started, really), leaving only the three of you as witnesses for this not-so-subtle interrogation. You would think a logical pro-hero like Aizawa would hide his intentions through a casual conversation; maybe even flattery to get teenagers talking just to boast (then again, that interrogation strategy won't work on you either). But of course, there's a difference between being logical and being cunning-- Aizawa is not the latter; he was not trained to be. He only knows interrogation head-on; not subtlety.
It just furthers the rift of differences between a shinobi and a hero. Perhaps, the closest comparison you could make for a pro hero from your world would be a samurai.
"This is an interrogation." There, you came straightforward with his intentions, and frankly, Aizawa was visibly unprepared for that from the way his eyes widened. He had wrongly assumed that you would obediently answer every question he would throw at you-- regardless your responses were lies or truths. "Sensei, you're suspicious of us; why?"
He naively expected you to either tell the truth or lie; not to confront him like a toddler who had his hand caught in a cookie jar. Despite suspecting you to be a potential enemy, his treatment was still that of a teacher to a student; he was unsure if he should change his conduct towards you, as he still has no proof if you're an enemy.
You would never understand this world's known policy: innocent until proven guilty, as opposed to your universal shinobi rule: guilty until proven innocent. If anything, it's like they're inviting for the worst to happen if they're giving time for a potential enemy to brew contingency plans.
Nevertheless, Eraserhead has doubts and that's proof enough for you to know that he's going blind in this investigation, earning yourself some confidence and a segment of control.
"Precaution," Your adviser finally replied after a moment of silence, his onyx eyes scanning you, then your partner. "Personality shift is normal if one is traumatized." 'If' not 'when'; 'one is' not 'you are'. He was implying that he isn't buying your story and that made you somewhat wary, but you've yet to reveal the cards you hold close to your chest.
"You were questioning our skill level," not our personalities, goes unsaid. "You think we're impersonators not because of our behaviors, but because of our capabilities." You accused, tone almost snarling to sell your supposed anger (you're not offended; his suspicions ring true, after all, but it's not like you'd admit that). Meanwhile, you had your hand discreetly sign something to Kakashi, making sure that Aizawa's eyes were on you.
"So you would sooner believe that we're impostors rather than actually think we can be as competent as we currently are," Kakashi finally spoke up, his words delivered like a kunai-- smoothly thrown but sharp at the tip, hitting its target at the bullseye. "We may not be academically-inclined, but we're not complete idiots, sensei." What he said was the final nail to the coffin, eliciting the response you wanted from your teacher.
Aizawa Shouta radiated subtle guilt.
To accuse an esteemed teacher (he strikes you as such) of not having faith in his students; to have him think he's a factor to a student's insecurity-- it's all part of a guilt manipulating tactic, and you just so happened to know which buttons to push (admittedly, this can work on you too, as an esteemed teacher, yourself).
Before he could say anything to save face, you interrupted him, now having control of the conversation, despite him starting it.
"It doesn't matter. We get it; we're too different from our first impressions. I guess it makes sense you'd be wary. You can still keep being suspicious, for all we care, but just know you never really knew us to begin with," You said nonchalantly, no doubt having Aizawa curious what emotion your eyes, hidden behind your shades, may convey. "Though, the least you could've done was not insult us, even if unintentionally." The ravenet glanced away.
"Ah, I apologize if it came out that way," He was genuinely sorry, and that vulnerable emotion was all you needed to shift the topic.
"Hn, we would also like to request something of you," Now paying attention to you, Aizawa was probably looking for a way to repent, and there's no better way to do that by following a small favor. "We'd... We'd like to contact the police officer's family to apologize." The hesitancy in your voice made your act seem more sincere, and your teacher bought it. Don't get yourself wrong, you do feel bad for the family that lost someone you could've saved; it just so happens that your remorse overlaps your goal to shake off suspicion.
To make a show that you were emotionally affected, and to cement the source of your declared motivations.
"You don't have to. Sharing family contacts from the police department is heavily discouraged," Eraserhead refused, before amending. "I'll just have to relay the message." After drawing sympathy from the man, you lightly smiled in approval, introducing the conclusion of the conversation right after.
"Would that be all, Aizawa-sensei?"
"... The principal would like to meet with you first thing at lunch; only you." You did not visibly react to that; neither did Kakashi. "Thank you for your time." And with that, Aizawa turned and walked away (limping, actually), probably heading to the teacher's lounge. However, before he could reach far, you told him:
"Thank you for letting us stay and fight with you, sensei." He paused for a moment.
"Just... take your tests seriously next time." He said, before continuing on. He did not look back.
...
Once arriving at the teacher's lounge, Aizawa slumped by his desk, his spirit somber. After a while, the man resisted the urge to run a hand through his raven tresses (mainly because his movements were restrained), now realizing that not all of his questions were answered.
When did they learn to fight? Do they sometimes train together to work that good as a pair? How did they face the noumu unscathed? Who the hell are Hatake and Uchiha? Where did they meet them? As far as Aizawa is aware, none of their parents were heroes to be able to have contact with teachers with unique fighting styles. What kind of fighting style were their trainers teaching them? He doesn't recognize it. And it's too coordinated to be a free-style street fight.
The moment his mind was sober from emotions, namely shock and guilt, he then registered that whatever the hell happened distracted him from the main reason why he approached the two students in the first place. He can't believe he just lost track of his purpose like that. It's like they expertly dodged the topic, without being obvious about it-- almost like a mind control level type of manipulation. The scary thing is, Aizawa doesn't know if it was intentional or not.
If it was...
The man chose to disregard that train of thought. This is up to Nezu now; they both orchestrated today, after all. If Ashido passes their principal's test, then he'll drop all suspicions, no matter how sketchy the student may act. Though, Nezu didn't choose to confront Ashido; Aizawa chose for him.
Eraserhead deemed Ashido to be the influential one of the pair, as she usually takes over conversations; take what transpired earlier as an example. She obviously played the setter; the planner. If his suspicions were right, then that would make her the one in-charge (if they were innocent, it would just mean that Ashido is the talkative one, and probably has more guts than the other).
If that were the case, then why didn't Aizawa send the weaker-willed of the pair, Kaminari, to make this a bit less difficult? Easy. Principal Nezu loves challenges. Weak-willed, strong-willed-- it doesn't matter to the mammal.
Aizawa trusts that Nezu can break them all the same.
That is, of course, if there is something to break in the first place.
And then, he remembers that he has to overlook the DNA testing.
~*~*~
It was now lunch time, and your classmates expressed great excitement for the upcoming Sports Festival, however...
"Hm, having their skills already tested at merely the first and second day of classes is different from the academy. At least ours taught us the basics first, before testing us," Kakashi criticized, as he escorted you to the principal's office; the halls may be empty but your voices remained hushed regardless. "I wasn't even aware there was a Battle Training nor a Quirk Apprehension test, because someone is being stingy with their memories."
"I only know the summary of their performances, which is suffice to say... below average," You really tried sugar-coating, you really did.
'Ouch.'
'Alas.'
"Hm, then I can see their concern regarding the sudden power gap. If the staffs are really that unsettled by the 'improvement', I'm starting to see what you mean by below average,"
'Yes, grind our self-esteem like you weren't defending it earlier to Aizawa-sensei.' Mina sarcastically remarked, having you internally wince.
'Oops..?'
"Hey, hold on, didn't we just turn from here a few minutes ago?" Kakashi queried, eyebrows furrowing in thought.
"... We're lost, aren't we?" You sighed, before turning to the next corner, which made you witness... All Might offer Midoriya to eat with him (with Iida and Uraraka witnessing with you).
"Sorry to cut in, but do any of you know where the Principal's office is?" Shamelessly intruding, Kakashi made his way towards their group, with you following after him, interrupting their conversation.
"Ah of course! It's just a hallway across the teacher's lounge, next to the conference room!" The blond hero supplied enthusiastically (Kami, he's one for theatrics and it made you wince how Gai-like he was). "You can walk with us, if you'd like!"
"Why? Are you two in trouble?" Uraraka blatantly asked.
"I don't know; it's just me who was asked to go, but let's see," You shrugged, before walking by All Might's side, indicating that you agree to his offer. "Also, Kaminari, here's your bento," As usual, the two of you don't eat cafeteria food, as shinobi paranoia prevent you two eating anything that wasn't prepared within your supervision.
After handing over the yellow cloth-wrapped bento to your partner, you raised a brow at how your four other companies stared at the two of you, as Kakashi uttered out a quick 'thanks'.
"... Are you sure you guys aren't dating?"
"Uraraka-san, that is a very personal question to ask!"
"But aren't you curious?! The school year just started!"
"No, like I said before, we aren't dating," You dismissed, pinching the bridge of your nose (the shades can get your nose bridge sore sometimes. How does Shino live like this?). "I just so happened to be his health supervisor."
"Maah, maah, so curious. How about you and Midoriya-san? Are you two dating?" Kakashi smoothly addressed Rose Cheeks, which immediately flustered the mentioned pair.
"N-NO!"
"Wha--no!" The greenet and the brunette both denied.
"Ah, you and Iida-san, then," Kakashi chirped.
"No!"
"This is an inappropriate discussion!"
"A-ah, well, anyway," All Might finally intervened, reminding everyone that he was still present. "We should go... now!"
"See you guys later." And with that, you walked off with Midoriya and All Might, leaving Kakashi in the company of Iida and Uraraka.
You just hoped the jounin would at least play nice.
...
"I said: Kaminari-san, please put that improper reading material away while we're in public; the cafeteria, no less!"
"Hm? Did you say something?"
That was the third time Iida scolded him, and that was the fourth time Kakashi pretended he didn't hear him (much to Uraraka's amusement). The bespectacled boy was very persistent, he passively learned.
"Ah, anyway, do you know why All Might asked Midoriya-san to eat with him?" Kakashi inquired, which had the two ponder over the question, as he easily slid himself from the conversation.
There, that should keep them occupied, he thought. Kakashi needed some time to think for himself; his book doing its job on repelling any social interaction.
Now, what the hell would the principal want with you? Why you, specifically? Aren't you both suspicious? After the interrogation, Kakashi can already assume that the drug test thing was an underhanded tactic to obtain their blood for DNA testing, in case they really were impostors. Jokes on them, this actually is their body.
Although, he's not sure if they have a way to test if their minds match the bodies.
This is getting riskier, the longer you both stay here.
He can't wait to get home and greet his cute little genins. And hopefully, the seal you were telling him about earlier would work as intended.
'Can't wait to get rid of the brat from my head.'
'I can hear you.'
'I know.'
~*~*~
"Do you play any board games?" Nezu inquired, his polite smile never leaving his face.
"I know how to play Go and Shogi," You supplied, trying your best to seem lax on the sofa.
"Oh, then would you like to play Shogi with me?"
("Yo, you're one of the top students, right? I'm Toshiro; this is Shisui. Wanna play Shogi with me?")
"Sure." And with that, Nezu proceeded to retrieve the board and prepare the tea.
When you first arrived within the principal's office, Nezu was eccentrically polite, and offered you to eat lunch with him (to which of course, you have no choice but to oblige). During the meal, he talked to you regarding what happened in USJ and some things about your first villain encounter (and wondered why you wear sunglasses indoors); you expected that. Whatever this is, you'll acknowledge it as some form of interrogation, thus it's best not to be talkative and not answer more than needed.
Once the board was placed on the coffee table, along with the filled teacups, you then arranged your pieces Ohashi style, with Nezu doing his in Itou style.
"It's nice to know that some youths still know basic Shogi etiquette," Nezu commented cheerily before tossing furigoma; three tokin and two fu-- you go first.
You placed a fu forward; the piece tapping the wooden board with a clear sound of a tack.
"As your adviser, Eraserhead, informed you, the Sports Festival is coming soon," Nezu started. "Those who perform beyond expectations would receive a special scholarship and recommendation from yours truly!"
Tack!
"Why not tell this to the class?"
Tack!
"Frankly? It's because I want you to receive it!" You were not prepared for that straightforward honesty. "Other than that, it may create malicious competition between peers and classes; so, this is supposed to be a secret, really,"
Tack!
"Why me, if you don't mind me asking?"
...Tack!
"How you performed in the USJ was prodigious; your efforts should be recognized,"
Tack!
"Kaminari, Todoroki, Bakugou, and Kirishima performed just as well,"
Tack!
"Yes, but according to Thirteen, you were the first to make a move; the rest merely followed," The mammal explained, his courteous tone never faltering. (True, but it was Kakashi who came up with the plan, you wanted to say but stopped yourself.) "What you did gave them confidence; reassurance. In that moment, you showed a hero trait to be trustworthy. Would you call yourself a leader material?"
Tack! Captured.
"If the circumstances call for it; perhaps."
Tack! Captured.
"Then I expect you to do well in the Sports Festival, as you did in the USJ,"
Tack!
"It would be more difficult facing my classmates, as they probably received proper training and would prepare for the event, unlike the thugs that invaded USJ,"
Tack!
"That's true!" He chirped. "However, if the witnesses weren't exaggerating, I'd say you'd have a pretty good chance placing first. According to them, your martial arts were impressive!"
Tack!
"Both you and them give me too much credit. I wouldn't want you to waste your disclosure regarding the special scholarship to me, only to disappoint,"
Tack!
"You wouldn't, as long as you do your best!"
Tack! Captured.
Ah, now you understand where this is going; what he intends to do: assessment.
You have to live up to the witnesses' claims to some extent. He already mentioned you performing praise-worthy martial arts (now that you think about it, he was emphasizing that aspect for a while now), and that's exactly what he expects from you in the Sports Festival. Mina can't do that alone; she doesn't even know any form of martial arts. But...
You can't take over either. A young student performing elite jounin stunts would raise a lot of questions. If you took over and half-assed your efforts, the rodent would know; he's smart, and you don't give that compliment freely.
Fuck, that's why he told you the 'secret'.
He gave you incentives-- two kinds; one is materialistic (the scholarship and recommendation) and the other is personal (living up to expectations to not disappoint).
If you perform poorly with Mina's body, that would be like wordlessly denying his special offers, and as a teenage student, that would be questionable. What student doesn't want those rewards?
You performing for Mina is definitely out of the question, however...
Maybe Denki and Mina performing like you and Kakashi can still be a feasible idea.
Your only saving grace was that Nezu wasn't there to witness your moves to differentiate them to whatever Ashido and Kaminari would present. 'Good martial arts' can be vague enough for you to work over.
This is one fucking smart rodent.
You chose to talk about meaningless topics for the rest of the game; luckily, Nezu humored you.
...
"Oh, sennichite. That's a first," Nezu remarked, his smile for once not present, but was instead replaced with a curious pout. "I usually win, so this is a pleasant surprise!" And then his smile returned.
"I'm glad I could be of a challenge," You lightly smiled back. Honestly, you were glad you didn't lose, because every time you play shogi, you do. Then again, that's because most (if not all) of your opponents were Naras.
"That's no ordinary feat, mind you!" He exclaimed, clapping his hands exactly three times, before checking the wall clock. "Alas, you only have thirteen minutes left before classes resume."
"Thank you for the opportunity, Principal Nezu-sama. I'll be taking my leave now." With a bow appropriate to his position, you then left the room, leaving the mammal to his thoughts.
The game ended in sennichite-- a repetition draw if the same position is repeated four times with no checks involved. For someone to evade all his attempts of tsumi for four consecutive positions is indeed quite a feat; for a student, especially.
Ashido Mina barely passed the written portion of the entrance exam; the practical portion pulling her grades to have her pass the hero course. To have someone of her intellect challenge his was... well, contradictory. But of course, Nezu knows better than to measure intelligence through numbers.
Nezu glanced at the used Shogi board and observed.
The game ended in a draw, mainly because the whole time, you played to preserve and defend; not offend and win. Even when Nezu placed pieces to goad you into capturing them, you simply moved your pieces away from each and every opportunity; hoarding them all in a defensive, impenetrable position.
You did not sacrifice any piece. If you find any piece-- even a fu-- in potential danger, you would move them within the vicinity of high ranking pieces. In fact, even when Nezu wasn't aiming to capture a certain piece, you would still move it to safety, regardless if it's already safe. You weren't taking any risks, no matter how small.
Always scheming; always so wary.
How you think of allies-- people in your life-- reflected heavily on the game. He doesn't even know if you're aware that you're subconsciously doing this.
Ah finally, Nezu smiled sadistically, resisting the urge to laugh aloud.
A human that interests me!
~*~*~
"The DNA test results match."
"See? Eraserhead was just being paranoid."
"It's called being careful."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night."
"He doesn't sleep; he just dreams."
"What the hell does that even mean?"
~*~*~
Okay, first thing's first in the agenda: apply your seals and have your own individual bodies and thoughts.
Next: use said bodies to impersonate as trainers to train Kaminari and Ashido for two weeks before the Sports Festival-- only genin level, otherwise they'd need months or even years for chuunin with how their bodies are. You'll have to discuss this later with Kakashi once classes are dismissed.
Lastly, you need an alibi-- a witness of your own. You can't erase the possibility of Nezu having to bullshit his approximations about you through 'witnesses'-- whether those witnesses exist or not. Nezu might claim you can run in lightning speed, and that there were 'multiple' witnesses to see it; you'd prove it to him being none the wiser. You can't tell if the mammal would be lying either, because you're more familiar with human expressions. How many can tell you that they can tell if an animal is lying or not?
If there were any, you'd claim them to be insane.
You need a witness to deny claims outside Ashido's capabilities.
This witness should be able to see how normal Kaminari and Ashido really are; an onlooker behind the scenes to have Mina and Denki show vulnerability and flaw. Someone you have no connections before so that no one can claim them as a potential accomplice; Class 1A is obviously out of the options.
However, as much as possible, the witness should not be combat-oriented. They shouldn't have enough experience to know how inexperienced Kaminari and Ashido really are; someone untrained enough to see beginners as experienced. This would mean that the hero course overall is off the question.
Therefore, you'd have to train Ashido and Kaminari enough to know their basics before having this witness present.
Ah well, looks like the dream link can be useful after all.
Soon enough, classes were dismissed.
Like usual, you walked with Kakashi to exit the room (and discuss whatever happened in the Principal's office), however...
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!"
Multiple people were blocking the way.
Eventually, your classmates pondered over the situation as well, to which the Deidara-Hidan fusion explained that the crowd was scoping out the competition-- specifically, those who participated in the fight: you, Kaminari, Bakugou, Kirishima, and Todoroki.
"Move aside, cannon fodder." Bakugou warned, to which someone retaliated to the insult.
"It's true we came to get a good look, but you sure are modest," The crowd parted to make way for the purple-haired boy who made his appearance known. "Are all the kids on the hero course like this one? Gotta say, I'm a little disillusioned if this is what you're offering."
Whilst the newcomer was discussing something regarding students getting stuck in other tracks (you can deduce that the practical entrance exam wasn't applicable for their quirks), and the Sports Festival was their chance to transfer to the hero course, your hidden eyes were observing him.
Tall, kind of slim; his neck isn't defined enough to suggest that he's built underneath his collar; his uniform is loose enough for you to know he doesn't have built muscles; how he carries himself also suggests that he's physically untrained. Plus, he belongs to the General Studies strand.
Looks like you've found your witness.
"Consider this as a declaration of war." Once the purple-haired male was done, you stepped forward, standing beside Bakugou and made your presence known, which now attracted all attention.
"Despite your circumstance with your quirk not being applicable to be physical, you didn't think of training your body?" You asked, testing if your assumptions of him being physically inexperienced were right.
The unnamed boy raised a brow, before glowering.
"It wouldn't matter if I'm against a powerful quirk anyway," Well, that was enough hint to answer your question; he's a blank slate.
You got yourself a winner.
"Shame that you think that, but I'll prove a point to you by training with us." And with that declaration, all eyes on you resembled the emotion of either surprise or confusion-- including Kakashi.
'WHAT?!'
"What?" The boy asked incredulously, eyeing you with disbelief, as you remained unbothered by the looks you were receiving.
"When I mean us, I meant me and Kaminari," You pointed to yourself, before pointing your thumb towards your baffled partner behind you.
"What the-- NO! Train with me; not this extra!" Bakugou exclaimed, about to make a grab for your collar. However, you're not letting that scenario repeat itself, so you could only dodge his grasp and grab his hand. Hopefully, this show of reflex would entice the unnamed boy to your offer.
"You don't need to; you carry yourself just fine," You stated as a matter of fact, tightening your grasp on Bakugou's wrist as a small warning before dropping it. Facing back to the purple-haired teenager, not interested on seeing the ash blond's reaction, you continued. "If you're wondering why I'm offering such, like I said, I want to prove a point. Though, you're welcome not to accept the invitation. If you do accept, meet us at the UA gates, 8am on Monday."
Grabbing for Kakashi's arm, you made your way to the exit the room; the crowd parting for your form.
Once outside the school grounds, your partner hummed aloud.
"I'm guessing whatever happened back there has something to do with the principal," Kakashi said, glancing at your face, which had you huff out an irritated sigh.
"Little chuckle-fuck is smarter than he lets on."
'Pfft! Little chuckle-fuck-- oh, wait hey, that's the principal you're talking about!'
You ranted to Kakashi what transpired in the Principal's office all the way home, with him quietly listening to your rambles (and Mina is making comments of her own). Of course, you then explained your intentions to which he had no choice but to go with it.

"Kiddies, we're home!" Kakashi exclaimed, as he pulled the door open, only for his face to be greeted by a clear plastic wrap taped to the door frame.
"Pfft!" You snickered, as Naruto roared in laughter on the sofa, clutching his stomach.
"Seriously, Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura looked disapproving, before returning to surfing the internet, while Sasuke looked disappointed.
"I'm still questioning if you really are a jounin at times."
"Mou, so mean to your sensei," The man obviously didn't care of their opinion, but then he always wonders why he's not respected by his own students.
Closing the door behind you, the security seal glowed a cyan blue, before turning invisible, which reminded you of your first agenda.
"Sakura, we're finally applying the seals."
...
Kakashi was reading his R-rated book for about fifteen minutes now, waiting for whatever results that's been happening in the other room. Flipping the next page (he bought it so he's gonna finish it; no matter how terrible it is dammit), the jounin continued to zone out the two other genins who were debating something about a kids' playground for some reason.
"Okay, but wouldn't it be messed up if you jumped into a ballpit, but instead of balls it's just tomatoes painted in different colors?" Naruto asked hypothetically, a prank already forming in his mind if he were to encounter any jump castles or ballpits (the internet gave all sorts of possibilities. This prank will be done, no matter who is involved).
"It depends." Sasuke shrugged, as the blond blinked in surprise.
"... On what?"
Hearing a loud puff within the occupied room, Kakashi, Naruto, and Sasuke turned their heads at the source of the noise. And soon enough, three individuals exited the bedroom, instead of two that originally entered it.
"Heyo, the name's Ashido Mina! Nice to properly meet you all in my own flesh!" There came Ashido Mina dressed in a black tank top and shorts, revealing ink patterns on her wrists, thighs, arms, nape and collarbone.
"The Shadow Clone Jutsu worked as expected on splitting consciousness," You briefly explained in a body that Kakashi can easily recognize; your outfit being the standard jounin uniform. "Now get in the room, and take off your shirt; you're next."
"A-ah, don't word it like that." Kakashi uttered out, embarrassed.
"For a man who reads porn publicly, you're such a prude." You remarked frankly, before pulling him into your shared bedroom.

Bonus:
Mina: Is it just me or is there some kind of... sexual tension between them?
Team 7: We're still waiting to this day.
Mina: Ah.
Me playing mind games with nezu is like kaminari playing mind games with kakashi. Tis big brain time.
6000+ words?? Yuck; disgusting. I am revolted. Hope that i wont be doing that ever again (but little do I know--).
Woof, a lot happened in this chapter. Also, I'm applying the 2-week training time skip. Like, in those two weeks, theres no classes at all, so that the students can be given time to prepare for the Sports Festival.
Thus, this concludes the Introduction/Enter Arc! I won't follow the BNHA arcs such as USJ, Sports Festival, Hero Killer Stain arc, etc. Instead, I'll be making my own arcs that just so happen to overlap with canon ones. Like how the Enter arc overlaps with the USJ arc. It will stem out soon, promise! This arc introduced two following arcs, and showed how our protagonists adjusted accordingly. Now that's done, the Vigilante arc begins! However, before that, we'll have an interlude to give yall context regarding MC's past!
