"Here." Stefan came into my room, a cup of some steaming liquid in his hands together with an extra blanket hanging off his arm.

"Thank you so much," I said and coughed. I must have caught a cold, but where could that have been? Maybe when I spent an hour with a drunk vampire checking out our enemy's headquarters? Nah.

"Do you need anything else?" He asked caringly.

"No, but thank you for this," I said honestly.

"I'll leave you to sleep now," He smiled. I nodded and closed my eyes. My head felt like a freaking drummer was practicing in it.

"Watch out, she might be spreading a virus that even affects vampires," Damon said while passing by my room.

"Fuck you," I muttered.

"Back to the fighting again, I see," Stefan sighed.

"Yeah, whatever." I leaned back into my pillows and closed my eyes again.

"Sleep well," He said before I heard him leave the room.

I think I was asleep before he even reached the living room.

I woke up after what only felt like seconds, though. My head was still numb from sleep but my whole body was hurting like it always did when I had flu. I thought it must have been in the middle of the night but it seemed to be late morning or noon already, telling from the sun that filled my room.

I'd dreamt again. About the eyes, about me running onto the street. About me getting in a car and ending in a crash but surviving, getting out, feeling like it was the end and waking up.

These nightmares were so strange and seemed to always come when and before I was around the Salvatores. For a second I thought I might be a witch, but I was pretty certain that I wasn't.

I'd never done anything magical and I surely wasn't very good with plants. Now that I thought about it, I'd never actually tried gardening.

Still.

Gardening so wasn't my style and if I was a witch I'd probably end up using dark magic of some kind.

I don't think that these spirits they talk about in the grimoires would like an alcoholic witch that uses dark magic for her own good and not for the sake of nature and who spends more time with vampires than with her own family very much.

I pushed myself up and went to the kitchen to get something to drink. I wasn't hungry at all and didn't eat anything for the rest of the day. I spent most of it sleeping, anyway. Or staring at the ceiling and contemplating life.

I only got up when it was already dark. My last nap had me feeling a bit better and from staying in bed the whole day my body felt underused.

"Ugh, it's you," I groaned in annoyance at the sight in front of me. "Where's Stefan?"

"Killing innocent bunnies, probably," He replied as he took a sip from his bourbon.

"He's a vegetarian now?"

"Stefan's either all or nothing. He's like a junkie,"

"What do you mean? He gets addicted to blood?"

"Yep," He said, popping the 'p'.

"Interesting. How does he get off these trips?"

"His little blonde friend shows up, locks him up and gets him off human blood,"

"Can I have one?" I asked, nodding to his glass.

"You drink too much,"

"So do you,"

"I'm a vampire,"

"I'm an adult,"

"Second cupboard to the right,"

"Thanks," I smirked.

After I'd made myself a drink, I hesitated for a second. "Before you came he had a....a weak moment."

Damon's eyebrows shot up to his hairline. "What?"

"We were in the park and I think he hadn't fed in a while and I told him to go hunt because I noticed how on edge he was and he listened to me but he came back and wanted to feed on me, I think,"

"What?!"

"But I said some things that made him disappear. I walked back and I think I heard a scream so I guess he fed on a human. If he's as edgy as you say, I wonder how he got off human blood again,"

"Maybe his blonde knight in shining armour came to save the day again,"

"Maybe," I agreed and refilled my glass. "So, what are we gonna do about the vampires?"

"I don't know, but I'm sure you have some great ideas," He said sarcastically.

"I mean, there is a few plans I had some time to think off. We can go to their lair and kill them, though I don't know how we're gonna do that. How many do you think there are?"

"About ten, maybe less,"

"You, Stef and I against a football team of vampires? I don't think so. There is another way I came up with, though." I knew my eyes were shining with excitement. "I could let them catch me, they'll bring me to their house-"

"Wait, wait, wait! You want to use yourself as bait?"

"Well, yes, but let me finish-"

"Absolutely not. You are not turning yourself in. How stupid are you?"

"Let me finish, dick!" I snapped. He raised his eyebrows but shut up.  "Thank you. So, when they catch me I make them believe that I don't know what you two are. I'm fully vervained so when one of them drinks my blood, he or she will be shocked and weakened by the vervain. I'll have time to kill
them-"

"And then what?" He cut in. "You expect Stefan and me to fight off the other nine? We aren't that strong,"

Admittedly, the plan was stupid. But I just wanted this to end.

"Just go back to bed," He said, once again making me feel like some child.

"Stop doing that!" I exclaimed.

He ignored me. "I can see that you're tired. Why don't you want to sleep?"

I gave him a wary look as I tried to make up my mind about what to tell him. "Dreams,"

"What type of dreams?"

"Bad ones," I replied. "Not that it's any of your business,"

"You obviously wanted me to know, or you would have just kept quiet like you usually do,"

"Well, I get bad dreams all the time and I can't sleep unless I'm drunk out of my mind, which I am right now, so....goodnight,"

// THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V //

Perse had been asleep for some time, Damon could hear her even breathing, when his brother finally returned from his hunting trip.

"Done killing little squirrels for today?" He asked and pushed himself away from the kitchen counter.

"What do you want?" He didn't look at his brother as he walked by.

"We need to talk,"

"So talk,"

"Don't be so grumpy, this concerns Perse."

Stefan stopped dead in his tracks before turning around. "What did you do?"

"Nothing! Relax, little bro." He rolled his eyes.

"I'm not up for you little games tonight. What is it?"

"I think Perse is a witch,"
