Alexandria P.O.V








'' Are we nearly there ??'' Kol whined as he and Damon walked behind me with one of the Alpha's wolves was currently knocked out and hanging off Damon's shoulder.

'' Kol just a couple of more minutes.'' Damon answered as he shifted the body who kept banging his head on the trees we pass. We finally crossed the line into wolf territory and the atmosphere completed changed, It was dark and sad everything seemed dead and when ever new life began to flourish it would kill it in a heartbeat.

'' This is depressing.'' I muttered as we carried on walking until we got the pack house. All the wolves that I could see seem to be in a meeting, probably discussing which vampire they are going to end next and turn that death into a show for the whole of the French Quarter to see.

'' Let's get this over and done with, I hate being around flea bags.'' Damon said with a smirk on his face.

'' Your not the only one.'' Kol replied as we all walked out of our spot and into the place where the wolves were currently having their meeting. I stepped on a branch which cracked underneath my booth which gained their attention, every one of the wolves were looking in our direction with a look of hate and some of the wolves had a look of fear but they tried covering up and followed the actions of the older wolves.

'' This is wolf territory not vampires allowed.'' The Alpha spoke.

'' We have a gift.'' Kol said as Damon threw the young boy's body onto the ground making a ' thud'.

''  Ash.'' A young girl gasped a look of horror replaced the anger.

'' Why do you have one of ours ??'' The Alpha questioned his eyes focused on the boy who was starting to wake up from his nap.

'' Well you kill one of our's so we decided to kidnap one of yours...'' I answered only to have Damon finish the rest of my answer.

'' And torture him.'' As Damon kicked the boy which flipped him onto his back to show the rest of the pack all of the kids injuries he sustained while he was with us. The Alpha growled and the young girl was on the floor in tears. A wave of sadness went through me but it quickly vanished, I'm doing this for my family, to protect my family.  The Alpha looked beyond pissed and lunged forwards to bite me but Kol got in the way and big wolf took a chunk out of Kol's neck. I gasped and grabbed Kol before he hit the ground.

'' Bloody hell.'' He groaned as he pressed his hand to his neck to stop the bleeding.

'' You're okay, you'll be fine.'' I whispered to him as I helped him to his feet and passed him to Damon who was currently trying to avoid Kol's blood from ruining one of his black shirts, I rolled my eyes at the pair and turned back to the Alpha who has a smug look on his face thinking he has won and that we would back down.

'' Mr. Alpha we were being nice, we weren't killing your wolves only scaring them which may have a couple of consequences in the future but nothing to bad but now you've crossed a line by hurting my brother and I can't stand for that so you've just signed this young boy to death.'' I told him as a devilish smirk appeared on my face, my fangs poked through and veins underneath my eyes began to make an appearance. The wolves composure went from strong and confident to fear and sadness. I smirked at the Alpha then sped over to the young wolf and put my hand through his chest causing him to open his eyes with so much force I'm surprised they don't fall out of his head. The young wolf was writhing in pain and tears started to fall. I looked away and turned to the Alpha and said 

'' Next time I hear or see a wolf enter the French Quarter, one of your wolves will die and I will make their death a spectacular.'' He nodded as I pulled my hand out of the boy's chest with his heart in my hand. His body dropped to the floor with yet another ' thud.'' I threw the heart into the swamp and wiped his blood on my jeans and turned away from the pack and towards the two boys I call family who had big smirks on their faces.

'' Let's go.'' I said as I walked past them, I felt their presence behind me but we didn't saying anything until we left their territory.

'' That was bad ass.'' Damon said as he held Kol up who was starting to look a little pale.

'' I feel bad for the young girl.'' I told them as I remember the image of her on the floor crying her eyes out.

'' Alex you were doing what you need to do to protect your family and if that means a few losses on the way then so be it. In the end it will all be worth because our family will be safe, the triplets will be safe and we can live in peace... God dammit this bite hurts like a bitch.'' Kol said, I chuckled at the last part but I knew that this is the right thing, my family come above all and if that means killing a few then so be it.

'' Kol let's get you to Klaus before you even more crazy than you already are.'' I said with a giggled. Damon chuckled but Kol glared at well tried as he was having a hard time covering up the smile that was plastered on to his face.

'' Klaus going to be pissed that you killed one of their's ??'' Damon asked as we got to the car.

'' He will understand, I was just getting even.'' I answered as I got into the car and put my hands on the wheel.

'' I got even for Kol, he hurt one of ours, we take the life of one of their's.'' I told them as I started the car and drove back to the compound.
