Sa lahat ata ng shows na pinuntahan ko, nandoon din si Dominic. I don't know who the hell invited him and why he even got a front row seat. He must've pulled some strings.

When Carol and I are set to leave for London, Dominic texted me telling me that we'll see each other there. Sa gulat ko ay hindi ko mapigilang pagdudahan 'tong si Carol. Siya siguro ang nagbibigay ng schedule ko dito kay Dominic!

Pinanliitan ko ng mata si Carol habang abala siya sa pag-scroll sa cellphone niya. Nang mapansing nakatitig ko ay tinaasan lang ako ng kilay bago awkward na nag-iwas ng tingin.

Hmm... something smells fishy here. Dominic must've befriended her. Ang isang 'yon talaga!

"What did Dominic do for you to give him my schedules?" tanong ko.

Hindi nakatakas sa tingin ko ang pamimilog ng mga mata niya. Carol gulped and tightened her hold on her phone. Sumulyap siya sa akin at sinubukang umarte na para bang hindi ko nahuli ang ginawa niya.

"W-What? He didn't do anything..." she almost whispered.

Mas lalong naningkit ang mga mata ko. I titled my head to the side. Nahuli na nga, dinedeny pa!

"Really? Was everything just a coincidence then?" I pouted.

Mabilis na tumango si Carol, mukhang gustong-gusto na maniwala ako sa dahilan na 'yon.

"Of course! It's just a coincidence."

"Hmm... maybe I'll just ask him."

I pretended to type something on my phone. Nabigla ako nang hinawakan niya ang kamay ko upang pigilan ako sa ninanais kong gawin.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"Fine..." Carol sighed in defeat. "I gave him your schedules."

Ngumuso ako at tumango. I freaking knew it!

"It's because he forced me to! He was so persistent and naughty! I gave it to him out of annoyance!" she said frustratingly.

Halos matawa ako sa nanging reaksyon niya. Trust me, I feel her. Ganyan na ganyan rin ako sa tuwing nagpupumilit itong si Dominic. Minsan wala ka nalang magawa kung hindi ang pumayag dahil ayaw mo lang talagang mainis lalo o di kaya you will find him really cute that you have no choice but to give in.

Kaya naman nang makarating kami sa London, agad ko na ring inasahan na kakatok si Dominic sa hotel room ko. Tamad ko siyang tiningnan matapos ko siyang pagbuksan ng pinto.

"Wala ka bang trabaho at palagi kang nakasunod sa akin?"

"Pwede papasukin mo muna ako?" tinuro niya ang pinto at nang-iinis akong nginitian.

I rolled my eyes and let him in. Agad siyang humiga sa kama na para bang siya ang nagbabayad nitong hotel room ko. I put my hand over my waist as I watch him.

"Hay! What an exhausting flight!" He said and closed his eyes.

Talaga bang kumatok siya dito sa hotel room ko para makitulog?

Naupo ako sa tabi niya at patuloy lang siyang tinitingnan, hinihintay na makiramdam naman siya.

"Hindi mo ba sasagutin ang tanong ko?"

He opened his eyes because of that. Tumagilid siya at ipinatong ang ulo sa kayang palad. He smiled cutely.

"Ayaw mo ba akong kasama dito?"

"Bakit ayaw mong sagutin ang tanong ko?" I asked with a straight face.

Hindi mo ako makukuha sa pacute-cute mong 'yan, Dominic!

Ngumuso siya at dismayadong nagpakawala ng hininga.

"I still have work, okay? I'm just taking a break."

"Why? Because you want to change your career and become a model instead?"

"Why not? I got the looks and the body."

I made a face and threw the pillow at him. He chuckled. Ang feeling!

"I have one shoot and a fitting tomorrow. I'm sure you're going to be there, right?"

Inosente niya akong tiningnan. Bumagsak naman ang balikat ko dahil sa pagmamaang-maangan niya.

"If you want me to."

"Anong you want me to? I'm sure you don't need to ask permission from me kasi desisyon ka na!" humalukipkip ako at tumabi sakanya.

He moved closer and rests his head on my stomach. I let him stay in that position. Kinuha niya naman ang kanyang phone at may kung anong sinearch doon.

"Are you going to stay here in your hotel room all night or you want to go out to grab some dinner?"

"It depends. Bakit? May maisusuggest ka bang restaurant?"

"Si Google meron."

I rolled my eyes.

We ended up eating dinner at a nearby restaurant that night. Mahal ang mga restaurant dito kahit saang parte ka pa ng Europe magpunta. The only good thing about their food is that, they're good and worth it.

Nagpunta nga si Dominic sa isa kong shoot para sa isang perfume ad. Wala siyang ginawa magdamag doon kung hindi ang panoorin akong ayusan at kuhanan ng litrato. Minsan siya pa nauunang tumingin sa monitor para sa mga shots ko.

He'll give me a thumbs whenever he's satisfied with my shots. Siya nalang kaya pumalit kay Carol?

Hindi na nga lang siya nakapunta sa fitting ko dahil may kailangan siyang asikasuhin sa trabaho. Even if he's taking a break, hindi niya parin talaga mapigilan ang sarili na magtrabaho. I guess nothing can stop a hard working man.

Hindi na kami naghiwalay pa ng flight ni Dominic nang patungo na kami sa Paris. Ito na ata ang pinakahihintay niyang linggo dahil gustong-gusto na niyang maipakita ang pinagmamayabang niyang modeling skills.

"How about if I do this?" Dominic asks while he keeps on practicing some poses in front of the mirror.

I couldn't help but smile as I watch him. He really wants to do his best on our shoot on Friday. He turns to the side and tries to do a sexy face.

"This one? Is it good?"

Tumingin siya sa akin mula sa salamin, hinihintay ang sagot ko. I shifted and rests my head on my palm. I bit my lip to fight my urge to smile.

"Can I see?"

Inulit ni Dominic ang ginagawa niyang pose. He kept a straight face and clenched his jaw. Nakapungaw pa ang mga mata na aakalain mo ay maghahanap ng away sa kanto.

"What do you think?" tumalikod na siya sa salamin at humarap na ng tuluyan sa akin.

"You know what? You don't have to do all those poses because you will look forced on the camera. You just need to be yourself."

"But I usually smile every time we take pictures. I'm sure I can't do that on our shoot."

I chuckled and extended my arm to him to ask him to come closer. Kinuha niya iyon at naupo sa tabi ko sa kama. I pressed a sweet kiss on his lips. Hinawakan ko ang pisngi niya at tsaka siya nginitian.

"You're putting so much pressure on yourself. Our photos will look good if you won't force yourself to look good."

"Bakit? Gwapo na kasi ako kaya hindi ko na kailangan magpagwapo pa?" tanong niya.

He moved closer to me. I watch him as his eyes went down to my lips. I licked my lower lip and bit it to tease him. He raised a brow because of that.

"Hmm... pwede na." pang-aasar ko.

"Pwede na?" he pulled me closer to him. His eyes never leaving my lips.

Napakapit ako sa braso niya. Patuloy ko lang siyang pinapanood, naghihintay ng susunod niyang gagawin.

"Hindi dapat ganyan ang sagot ng taong patay na patay sa akin." Dagdag niya.

I chuckled a bit. Kapal ng mukha! Baka nga siya 'tong patay na patay sa akin dahil kung saan ako magpunta, nandoon din siya! Can't he wait for me to come home at kailangan pa talaga niyang sumunod sa akin?

"Ah? Ako ba ang patay na patay sa'yo? Hindi ba baligtad?"

Dominic stifle a small smile. Saglit niyang inangat ang tingin sa akin bago binalik muli sa mga labi ko. His lips are so red now because he keeps on wetting it.

What's holding him back huh? Panay siya titig diyan di niya nalang ako sungaban agad!

He now angled his face to position himself. I opened my mouth as I wait for him to press his lips into mine.

Ang tagal, tagal naman!

Naubusan na ata ako ng pasensya sa tagal niya kaya ako na mismo ang gumawa ng paraan para ituloy na ang gusto niyang gawin. I pulled him by his shirt and crashed my lips into him. He answered back immediately and started to kiss me hungrily.

Napasandal ako sa head rest ng kama habang tinatamasa ang kanyang mga halik. My fingers crawled through the nape of his neck to deepened the kiss. Dominic bit my lower lip and sucked on it.

I moaned when he started kissing me on my neck. Mahigpit parin ang pagkakawahak ko batok niya at minsan ay napapasabunot pa sa buhok niya. Dominic immediately found the sweet spot on my neck which made me moaned a bit louder.

I heard him groaned on my neck. Napigtas na rin ata ang natitira niyang pasensya kaya niya inayos ang posisyon namin. I squealed when he lifted me up a bit to lie me down on the bed. He parted my legs to position himself in between.

Nagpatuloy siya sa paghalik sa akin.

Maaga akong gumising kinabukasan para sa iilang shows na dadaluhan ngayong araw. I'll be walking on the Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad show today. It'll be my last show for this week. Ang iba puro make-up test at shoots nalang. Dominic is still fast asleep when I left. I just left a note for him that I'll see him in the evening for our dinner.

Ngunit may pakiramdam din naman ako na manonood siya ng isa sa mga shows ko ngayon. 'Yun pa! I'm sure he already pulled some strings to get access on the show.

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed when we have to end our make out session last night because of our reservation at a nearby restaurant! It was his alarm that caused us to stop. As much as I want to continue, we were already starving!

Hindi na namin naituloy pa iyon pagbalik namin ng hotel dahil parehas na kaming pagod at gustong magpahinga. Sana nalang talaga hindi magtaka si Carol kung bakit buong gabi akong wala sa hotel room ko.

Everyone's going crazy now inside the backstage since the show's about to start. There are about five people around me to assist me with my hair and make-up. Ang iba nakaluhod na sa harap ko para ayusin ang gown na suot ko.

I fixed my chandelier earrings because it's getting heavier and heavier as minutes goes by. They did a simple up do on our hair to give more emphasis on our earrings and the sheer ribbon around our neck.

I actually love what I'm wearing. It's a steal blue dress with a front high slit. It also comes with an embroidered golden cape. I really love how this dress turned oud and how detailed it is when it comes to its embroidery. It has a color combination of rose gold, gold, and blue which made it more pleasing in the eye.

There are medias flocked around me to get a backstage scoop of the show. I posed in front of the camera and tried hard to show off the dress that I'm wearing. A crew only pulled me away from the media frenzy when it's my turn to walk on the runway.

I fixed my posture and kept a straight face as I wait for the stage director to instruct me to enter the runway. It actually felt kind of weird that I'm feeling a little nervous right now with no apparent reason. Or maybe it was because of the thought that Dominic 'might' be watching me walk on the runway for the first time today.

That only gave me more reasons to do my best and leave him astonished.

"Go." The stage director said thirty seconds after the model before me entered the runway.

As I was walking down the runway, I tried so hard not to scan the crowd to look for Dominic because I didn't want to look lost in the photos. Diretso lang ang tingin ko at walang pakealam sa ibang nanonood.

Ngunit nang umikot ako pabalik ng backstage ay doon ko nakita si Dominic. He's wearing a dark blue polo with a black pants and blazer. He's seated on the front row beside a renowned designer. My eyes almost widened.

Ngumisi siya sa sa akin nang magkatinginan kami. Sinikap kong 'wag mapangiti habang naglalakad ako palapit sa pwesto niya. His smile widened when I walk past him. Nang makapasok lang ata ako ng backstage ay tsaka ko napakawalan ang pinipigilan kong ngiti kanina.

I knew it. He's going to come and watch me. So, should I expect to see him again on the next show?

And as I expected, Dominic was also on the next show! Nahuli ko pa siyang pinipicturan ako habang naghihintay ako ng turn ko na pumasok sa runway. Muntikan ko pang hindi maalis ang ngiti ko sa labi bago sumalang!

"Thank you so much to everyone who made this show possible. Words aren't enough to show my gratitude to all of you." The designer gave his speech after the show.

We all clapped our hands and congratulated him for his successful show. Nagkaroon lang ng kaunting pictures bago kami hinayaang makapagpalit na sa aming normal clothes. After I changed my clothes, I went in front of the vanity to remove all the hairpins from my hair.

Habang ginagawa iyon ay may napansin akong isang pigura na tumigil sa likod ko. I turn to look at whoever it is and saw Dominic with a bouquet of sunflowers on his hands. Beside him is Carol who is also carrying another bouquet.

Tumayo ako upang salubungin siya. Inabot niya sa akin ang bulaklak habang pinupulupot ko ang isa kong braso sa baywang niya.

"Congrats with the show. You did well." Bati niya at tsaka ako pinatakan ng halik sa aking sentido.

I smiled. "Thank you, love."

Nanatiling nakangiti si Carol habang pinapanood niya kami. Ipinakita niya sa akin ang mga dala niyang bulaklak at letters.

"These are from your fans. I'll put them inside the car and leave you both here." Aniya bago siya nagpaalam.

Bumitiw naman ako kay Dominic upang ipagpatuloy ang ginagawa bago sila dumaling. A bunch of hairstylist helped me while Dominic stepped in to the side to avoid disturbing the people around me. Nanatili lang siya sa tabi habang hinihintay akong matapos.

"Thanks for coming to the show." Sabi ko habang palabas kami ng venue. Pinagsiklop ko ang mga kamay namin.

"Of course. I wanted to see how well you do with your job. You mesmerize me, Arielle."

I blushed at his compliment. May mga security naman na agad na sumalubong pagkalabas namin para pigilan ang mga paparazzi na makalapit sa amin. Ayan na ang gusto ng media. Ang makuhanan kami ng magkasama. Siguro naman titigil na sila sa pag-gawa ng kung ano-anong conspiracy tungkol sa relasyon namin ha?

Mabilis na dumating ang pinakahihintay na araw ni Dominic. Maaga palang ay naririnig ko na siyang kumakatok sa labas ng hotel room ko. I still look grumpy when I opened the door for him.

"Hindi ka pa ready?" hindi makapaniwala niyang tanong.

"The call time is at eight, Dominic. It's only five thirty."

"But what about breakfast? Aren't we going to eat first before we go to the shoot?"

"They serve buffets in shoots. As if you don't know that. You've already watched me twice."

Bumagsak ang balikat niya habang papasok siya ng hotel room ko. He sat on the sofa in front of my bed. Naupo ako sa tabi niya. I squeezed myself into his arms to try and go back to sleep.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you so early in the morning." He apologized.

"It's okay. I know you're just excited." I whispered before I drifted back to sleep.

Dominic woke me up at 7 because Carol's already knowing outside my door. Pagkagising ko ay agad akong naghilamos at naghanda para sa magaganap na shoot ngayong araw.

Once we've arrived at the studio, they invited us to eat breakfast first. Dominic being the cheerful person that he is, greeted everyone inside the studio. I couldn't help but smile as I watch him.

Excited na excited ang loko sa shoot na 'to. For all I know, he's been looking forward to this since last week! Akala mo'y ganap talaga na modelo, e.

After we finished eating our breakfast, the crew immediately guided us towards the make-up chair to start preparing us. Sa kalagitnaan naman ng pag-aayos ay pinapatawag kami para sa aming wardrobe. I've seen mine through the photos plastered on the changing room.

It has lots of long dresses, designer clothes, and expensive jewelries. Nang bumalik ako sa make-up chair, sunod namang tinawag si Dominic.

My first outfit is from Versace. It's a thigh-grazing mini dress with some ornate gold embroidery. It was then paired with a thigh high embroidered black boots. Very editorial din ang ginawa nilang hair and make-up sa akin wherein they used blue eye shadow on me.

Una akong sumalang para sa aking mga solo shots. I did the poses that the photographer instructed me to do. I guess he did all the kinds of shots he could think of during this shoot. Pagkatingin ko sa mga kuha niya halos mayroong full body shot, may close up shot, at mayroon din namang half-body shot.

"This looks so good." Turo ng photographer sa isa kong full body shot.

It looked like I was walking on this photo. Nakahawak rin ako sa ulo at nakabuka ang bibig. The photographer zoomed it in on my face to compliment how intense my stare were in this photo. Nginitian ko siya.

Sunod namang sumalang si Dominic. I sat on the corner to watch how well he's going to be during the shoot. I just hope he won't do all those weird poses he showed me few days ago. Inayos niya ang suot na blazer at tsaka umayos sa harap ng camera.

A ghost smile appeared on my lips as I watch him. Lumingon muna siya sa akin bago sila magsimula. I nod my head once as if I'm telling him that he's going to be fine and that there is nothing to worry about.

They started right after. I crossed my legs over the other and rest my chin on my palm. Hindi ko maiwasang matuwa habang pinapanood siya. His practices were worth it after all. He's really doing well.

Nilingon ko ang monitor upang tingnan ang shots niya. I nod my head pleasingly. Pwede din pala maging model 'to, e.

A crew now gave him the same block I seated on a while ago. The photographer asked him to spread his legs a bit. Dominic slouched a bit and rests his elbow on his thigh.

"Now look at the camera." Ani photographer.

Dominic followed him and looked the camera's lens intensely. He parted his mouth. Nagulat naman ako nang pabiro akong tinulak ni Carol nang makita niya akong mapangiti. I turn to her angrily.

Panira naman ng moment 'to, e.

"You look so proud. Did you train him?"

Ngumisi ako at binalik ang tingin kay Dominic. "No. That was all him."

Once Dominic finished with his solo shots, I stood up to look at the monitor closely. Tumabi na rin sa akin si Dominic para tingnan ang mga kuha niya.

"Not bad for a first timer." Puri ng photographer sakanya.

Nahihiya siyang tumawa. "Thanks."

I turn to him and raised my hand for a high five. "Good job!"

Ngumisi siya at nakipag-apir na rin sa akin. Sunod namang naganap ay para sa shot naming dalawa. Una nilang pinapwesto si Dominic at pinaupo sa sahig. Inangat niya ang magkabiglang binti at tsaka binuka ito ng kaunti.

"Sit in between his legs, Serena."

"Okay..." sagot ko at tsaka pumwesto na sa gitna ng binti niya. Mapaglaro ko siyang nginisian. "'Wag kang titigasan ah?"

His eyes widened a bit. Hindi inaasahan na sasabihin ko iyon. He pushed my shoulder a little. Tumawa ako.

"Wow ha? Baka mamaya di mo matiis at halikan mo nalang ako sa dressing room."

"Kapal mo!" I spat.

Siya naman ang tumawa ngayon. Nang kinuha ng photographer ang atensyon namin ay agad rin namang nagpatuloy ang shoot.

After lots of poses, wardrobe changes, and make-up retouches, we've finally reached the highlight of this whole shoot: the front cover.

Nanatili akong nakatayo sa harap ng set-up habang may mga taong nakapalibot sa amin. I towered over the people around me because of the high heals that I'm wearing. Ngunit kahit na ganoon, mas natatangkaran parin ako ni Dominic.

He's just right behind me. Gaya ko, may mga nakapalibot rin sakanya. His hair was nicely waxed making it look like a brushed up hairstyle. Inaayos rin ang suot niyang black tux upang siguraduhin na maganda ang fit at malinis itong tingnan sa camera. Tinanaw niya naman ako sa likod ng mga taong nakapalibot sakanya. He winked at me.

I smiled and looked away. I remained stoic while I let the people around me do their job. May isa na inaayos ang suot kong alahas. While my hair stylist is spraying some hair spray to make sure that my up do will be kept in place.

Ang make-up artist ko naman nag-reretouch at inaayos ang eyeshadow at lipstick ko. Ang nakaatas naman sa wardrobe ay inaayos ang pagkakasuot ng long dress ko sa akin.

I'm wearing an off white long dress with a long slit on its side. It has a cowl neckline and an open back, showing a bit of my side boob.

They are now fixing the white backdrop. May nilagay silang isang mahabang bloke doon na sa tingin ko ay uupuan namin mamaya.

Nang ayos na ang lahat ay nag-simula na rin naman kami agad. They pointed Dominic's position first before mine. I stood behind him. I slouched and wrapped my arms around him. The photographer then started to take shots.

I turn my head to the side for a different angle.

"Beautiful, Serena." The photographer complimented.

I parted my mouth and stared intensely at the camera's lens. Bago naman kumuha ng panibagong shot ang photographer ay ininstruct niyang ayusin ni Dominic ng kaunti ang posisyon niya.

"Don't put too much tension on your shoulder. Relax. You look stiff here." Aniya sabay turo sa monitor.

Umayos naman ako para bigyan ng pagkakataon si Dominic na ayusin ang kanya at para narin makahanap siya ng mas komportable na anggulo. Nagpatuloy kami sa shoot.

For the close up shots, our faces were only centimeters apart. Itong si Dominic nang-aasar pa at ngumunguso pa, umaambang hahalikan ako. Dahil sa kakulitan niya, ilang beses tuloy siyang napapagsabihan ng photographer na mag-seryoso.

For our last position, the photographer asked me to stand in between Dominic's legs again. I turned back at them to showcase the open back of my dress. On the other hand, Dominic gripped on my waist.

When the photographer started to count, I turn my face to the side and looked at the camera seriously. Si Dominic, seryoso na ngayon at napapansin kong umaanggulo pa.

"Beautiful, Serena." Ani photographer. "Nice. That's really nice."

Kung ano-ano pang compliment ang natatanggap ko mula sakanya. When I moved to change the position of my leg, I heard Dominic groaned.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"I'm trying my best here by doing everything he asks me to but I never heard him compliment me. Even for once!" reklamo niya. "Maybe I wasn't doing enough for him. Maybe he's not satisfied."

Hindi ko maiwasang matawa nang dahil sa sinabi niya. I caressed his cheek.

"You are doing a great job, Dom. Just because he doesn't compliment you that much doesn't mean you're not doing any good. Trust me, you're even better than most of the male models I've worked with."

Inirapan niya ako. "I'm sure you're only saying that because you love me and I'm your boyfriend."

"It's not that. I'm telling you the truth! You're too good for a first timer. Didn't see your shots? Those are very editorial. Aakalain mong ang tagal mo na rin sa industriyang ito."

"You think so?"

"Yes, love. Now... just be yourself and let's get this over with."

After some candid shots, the photographer finally wrapped up the shoot. We all clapped our hands.

I smiled and thanked every one behind this shoot. Ganoon rin ang ginawa ni Dominic. Pagkatapos noon ay tiningnan na namin ang iilang shots. It's hard to pick one because they are all beautiful! Halos walang patapon sa mga shots!

And Dominic... he really looks good in every photo. I'm really proud with how this shoot turned out even if this is his first time. Worth it talaga ang kung ano-anong pose na pinaggagawa niya sa harap ng salamin.

We immediately went back our own hotel rooms after the shoot. Naligo agad ako at nag-ayos pagkatapos. Naupo ako sa dulo ng kama at nag-isip ng maaaring gawin.

Hindi naman ako gaanong napagod sa shoot ngayon. In fact, I enjoyed. Kahit pabalik-balik sa dressing room para mag-palit, hindi ako nakaramdam ng pagod. Working feels different when you're working with someone you're very comfortable with.

In the end, I decided to visit Dominic in his hotel room out of boredom.

I knocked thrice and waited for him to open his door. Nang pagbuksan niya ako ay hindi ko naman inaasahan na iyon ang sasalubong sa akin.

My eyes widened a little when I saw his half naked body on display. A white towel is wrapped around his waist to cover his lower extremities. I pushed him inside.

"Talagang dinidisplay mo pa!" suway ko sakanya.

"I was talking a bath and someone's knocking. I didn't have the time to put on clothes!"

Umangat ang gilid ng aking labi. Pilit ko mang iiwas ang tingin ko, napapabalik parin talaga iyon sa katawan niya.

"Put on some clothes will you?" I said without looking at him.

Sa halip na sundin ako ng loko ay nang-aasar pa ako nitong tiningnan. He put his hand on his waist and tilted his head a bit to tease me.

"Why? Does it bother you?"

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Hindi 'no! Ang panget, panget ng katawan mo, e!"

Well, that was a lie. Sigurado ako na kaya ganyan kaganda ang katawan niya ay dahil pinaghirapan niya iyon. He really had time to achieve that kind of body despite his busy schedule huh?

"Ah? Talaga?" aniya sabay humakbang palapit sa akin. He moved closer until his chest touched my shoulder.

I crossed my arms and glared at him. Ngumuso ako at nag-iwas ng tingin. Dominic chuckled.

"Joke lang! Di na nga! Eto na magdadamit na."

Kasabay ng pagtalikod niya sa akin ay ang paglingon ko sakanya. Now I am faced with his muscled back. I almost gulped. Nanadya ba 'to o ano?

Gosh! This temptation is killing me!

I'm extremely tired that even answering his questions is already tiring for me. Hinayaan ko siya sa plano namin bukas. I let him reserve a table for us. Mukhang nung isang araw niya pa minamataan ang restaurant na kinukwento niya sa akin kaya siguro ito na rin ang tamang pagkakataon na masubukan iyon.

Maybe he wants to supply that restaurant with his wines that's why he wants to try.

Gaya ng plano namin, naglibot kami at nagpunta sa iba't ibang tourist spot dito sa Paris. I've been here a couple of times because of Fashion Week but I never really got the chance to roam around because of my busy schedule.

We toured around Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, and Champs Élysées. We took a lot of pictures and even watched an opera show at Palais Garnier. Our last stop was at Eiffel tower but Dominic didn't want to go there yet since he's already starving.

Pinagbigyan ko naman siya dahil mukhang gutom na nga siya. Hindi pa naman din lumulubog ang araw kaya maganda rin kung maaabutan namin na nakabukas ang ilaw ng Eiffel.

He roamed his eyes around the restaurant like an investor wanting to make sure that his money is in good hands.

"Another one of your prospects?" tanong ko.

Natigil siya sa paglibot ng tingin. Hinarap niya ako at tinaasan ng kilay.

"I'm planning to try. But I'm still not sure. Mukhang mas malaking distillery na ang may hawak nito."

"Malay mo naman. Sayang kung palalagpasin mo 'to."

I heard that it's one of the best restaurants here in Paris. Wala naman sigurong masama kung susubukan niya diba? Dahil maaaring makatulong rin ito para mas lumaki ang sakop niya.

As we wait for our order, a question that I have been meaning to ask him crossed my mind.

"Siya nga pala," I started. "Ano na nga palang nangyari sa kaso mo kay Samuel? What cases did you file against him?"

"Oh that... I filed cyber libel and forgery against him. He was able to bail out since he still have money. But I heard their company filed for bankruptcy last month. Siguro ang dami nang umatras na investors sakanila nang dahil sa nangyari. Their family company was also ruined. The reason why Guevarra & Co., Inc. is gone now."

Nabigla ako sa narinig pero hindi ko namang maiwasang matuwa. Stupid Samuel. Nang dahil sa ginawa niya, pati pamilya niya nadamay.

"I'm glad that you were able to clear your name."

Dominic smirked. "I've already got something against him before he could even spread another one of his false accusations."

"How?"

"I already had him investigated. I was the first one find out all of his dirty business practices. Nalaman niya iyon kaya siguro naisipan niyang sa akin niya ituro ang mga ginawa niya. He didn't succeed though because I'm that good."

I rolled my eyes at him. Nagyabang pa talaga!

"Siya rin naman pala ang gumawa ng bagay na makakapagpasira sakanya, e." sabi ko.

"That's why I've been trying to convince you to stop your contract with him. Ayaw kong madamay ka sa gulo na pinapasok niya."

"But it was too late though. I was mad at you so I didn't realize what you were doing. Akala ko gusto mo lang bitawan ko ang kontrata ko kay Samuel dahil nagseselos ka."

Dominic chuckled.

"But I'm glad that the issue's over now. Dennis was so stressed out but he's happy because I'm still able to keep my reputation." I smiled proudly.

Kahit na anong gawin talaga ni Samuel, hindi siya nagtatagumpay. He tried to ruin us but it only ended up with him ruining his own damn self.

"Your family helped to clear up your issues though."

Nabigla ako sa sinabi niyang iyon. Kitang kita niya siguro sa mukha ko na hindi ako makapaniwala kaya tipid siyang ngumiti sa akin.

"They told everyone that it wasn't your fault why your sister died. They also denied all those allegations from you. They showed proof and filed against Samuel on your behalf. They didn't want me to tell you but... you deserve to know."

"They... really did that?" hindi makapaniwala kong tanong.

That is actually really hard to believe. Ilang taon kaming hindi nag-usap at nag-kita. Ilang taon kami hindi nagkapaliwanagan ng maayos. Kaya ang marinig na tumulong sila para malinis ang pangalan ko sa mga isyu na binabato sa akin ay hindi talaga kapani-paniwala.

"Yes." Mas lumaki ang ngiti ni Dominic ngayon.

Napakurap ako. Dominic remained smiling at me.

"Your mother was so persistent to fight with your case. Halos araw-araw din kaming magkausap tungkol sa kaso ni Samuel. She really wants him to pay for what he did to you. She cares about you after all, Arielle."

Bago pa tumulo ang luha ko ay inihain na sa harap namin ang order namin. I breathed hard and tried to shake off whatever is bothering me. I didn't want to lose focus on our dinner just because of what Dominic told me.

Hindi parin talaga ako makapaniwala na ginawa nila iyon. Lalo na si Mama. She was the one who pinned Ariana's death on me before. Kaya ang hirap paniwalaan na biglang hindi na ako ang sinisisi nila sa nangyaring iyon.

Well, maybe time really does heal all wounds. Mama was able to heal from it now and finally accepted the truth that it wasn't my fault. I know she's still grieving but I really appreciate that she let them open up Ariana's case again just to protect me.

Nang matapos kaming kumain ng dinner ay agad kaming nagtungo sa Eiffel tower. The sun is almost setting now. There's still a lot of people here in Jardins du Trocadéro. They're also probably waiting to see how the Eiffel tower looks like at night.

Naupo kami ni Dominic sa damo habang hinihintay na magtakip-silim. Tinungkod ko ang aking kamay at tumingala. I closed my eyes to feel the wind rush through my face.

Ariana must've made sure that Mama will be able to accept what happened in time. She saw how the both of us suffered because of it. At siguro ang gusto niya namang mangyari ngayon ay ang magkaayos kami.

Hay, Ariana... kahit na ang tagal, tagal mo nang wala dito sa tabi ko, sinisiguro mo parin talaga na masaya ako. You keep on making sure that I'm okay even if you're no longer beside me. You're the reason why I feel so alive now. Everything you did for me, contributed so much with what I'm feeling right now.

"Let's go the sun is setting soon." Aya ni Dominic.

Nauna siyang tumayo sa akin. He offered his hand and I accepted it. Sabay kaming naglakad palapit sa Eiffel tower. Halos padilim na rin kaya sinulit namin ni Dominic na kumuha ng kumuha ng litrato. We stayed there for a while until the whole tower lit up with its bright lights.

I was mesmerized by it and I couldn't take my eyes off of it.

"Wow!" I exclaimed.

Kasabay ng pagbukas ng ilaw ay ang pagyakap ni Dominic sa akin patalikod. Napangiti ako habang sabay naming tinitingnan ay kabuoan ng tower.

"You are mine forever." He whispered in my ear. Mas lalo namang lumaki ang ngiti ko. "Marry me."

Sandali akong natigilan sa sinabi niya. Kumalas siya mula sa pagkakayakap sa akin at dahan-dahang lumuhod sa harap ko. I gasp.

"Marry me, Arielle." He said as he took out a small red velvet box. Pagkabukas niya ay may isang makinang na round engagement ring doon.

Nanatili akong nakatitig sakanya, hindi makapaniwala na dito niya pa talaga ginawa 'yan. May mga tao na ring natigilan nang makita kung ano ang nangyayari. Mukha namang walang pakealam si Dominic dahil mas nakatuon parinbang atensyon niya sa akin.

Unti-unting lumaki ang ngiti ko. His forehead creased a little. He looks really curious.

Instead of answering him, I only chuckled a little and continued to smile at him. Did I really heard him right? He's asking me to marry him?

May kumunot ang noo niya sa reaksyon ko. He's probably just waiting for my answer to his proposal but he couldn't get it because I was just smiling like an idiot in front of him.

Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.

"What?"

"What?" I returned the question.

Bumagsak ang balikat niya at hindi ako makapaniwalang tiningnan. Ngumuso siya.

"What does... what does your reaction mean? I-I mean... does it say something?"

I laughed because he sounds really nervous. Baka kinakabahan na 'to dahil iniisip niya na hindi ko tatanggapin ang singsing.

But why wouldn't I accept his proposal? He's the person I wanted to marry and I'm not letting this chance to slip away from me. I'm ready... to commit myself to him... and only him.

I cupped his face. I crouched and beamed at him.

"My reaction mean... yes." I said. He sighed heavily. "Yes, Dominic. I'll marry you. No matter how many times you ask, I will always say yes to marrying you."

Dominic smiled like he just won a lottery. Tumayo siya at sa nanginginig na daliri ay kinuha niya ang singsing sa loob ng box.

"Are you wearing the promise ring I gave you?"

"Yes. Here..." I said and showed him the ring.

"Remove it."

Mas lalo namang kumunot ang noo ko pero sinunod ko parin ang inuutos niya. I gave him the ring.

"Why?"

Napangisi siya. "Because it comes with this, love."

There... he showed me the completeness of the ring. The reason why he got me a circle one before was because when the time comes where he's going to propose to me, he's just going to insert the engagement ring inside the circle to complete it.

Kahit sa pagpropopose, ang dami paring pakulo!

"I love you." I said.

Tiningnan muna ako ni Dominic sa mata bago niya tuluyang isuot ang singsing sa akin. I swear, I couldn't find the right words to describe how happy and contented I am.

I watch as he inserts the ring on my ring finger. I couldn't help but smile because I realized that out of all the people I've met, I finally found the one that is so perfect for me.
