Ladies and Gentlemen, This is Tag-O No. 5

Sal here!

This tag is courtesy of the lovely mithraholt, which happened all of a month ago.  I should have, and wanted to, fulfill this tag much sooner than I did.  However, as much as I love doing these tags (and I do honestly get a big kick out of being included in these chain questionnaires, so thank you to everyone who has tagged me thus far), I also wanted to at least get a chapter and a one-shot posted before I filled this new one out.  I know that last one shot took forever to write, but part of that is because I had absolutely no firsthand experience on the subject (as in, I have not yet had a baby), so to keep my imaginings form being too far-fetched, much research was necessary.  Hopefully I at least came within the vicinity of accuracy- but even if I didn't, please know that I tried.

Also, just as an FYI, I am indeed working on the next part of Riptide; with a little luck I will have it up by the end of this weekend.

Right, let's get this show on the road!

1.  My full name is, as you might have guessed, Sally Jay, The Girl from Number Four.  However, this is not my real name at all.  But, since I was not asked what is my real name is, let's just move right along, then.

2. I am an Aquarius, and was born in the year of the Fire Rat, depending on which zodiac to which you are referring.

3.  It's you.  You're my best friend.

4.  Sitting here, at work, listening to some talk radio, I feel informed, a little frustrated, and yet, on the whole, pretty good.

5. Who wants to know?

6. Just about every movie that I have seen that was directed and written by Quentin Tarantino (with the exception of The Hateful Eight) has absolutely blown me away. His writing is utterly masterful, especially the dialogue.  Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has got to be in my top five at the moment.  Galaxy Quest is another big favorite, as well as The Matrix, Serendipity, Ghostbusters, The Iron Giant, Aliens, The Blues Brothers, Grosse Point Blank, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

7. I'm an average five foot five.

8. There are 1175 songs in my music library.  I could not possibly list all of them now without my supervisor catching me.  Suffice it to say, there's plenty of Rolling Stones, Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Savage Garden, George Strait, Meat Loaf, some standard cheesy 90s and 2000s pop mixed in for the flavor-

Oh, and yeah, one or two Queen songs, I guess.  But I never listen to them.

9. I could be totally honest here, and list three things I truly do hold most near and dear to my heart.  However, I have learned the hard way that the mere mention of certain subjects on Wattpad is met with immediate hostility.  So, I'll keep it surface level and simply say that I love watching YouTube edits, eating KitKats, and driving at top speed down long, winding, very dark roads with the windows down and either "Misirlou" or Joe Cocker's "The Letter" blaring through the speakers- but not all at the same time.

Usually, anyway.

10. Please see the first two sentences in my last answer.

11.  Cooking, chasing the chickens around the yard, and posting anti-(NAME REDACTED) memes on my Instagram to see how many people have an aneurysm over them.

12.  Boston Cream Pie. Nuff said.

13. Keanu Reeves, Ewan MacGregor, Paul Rudd, Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, Will Ramsey, and Kevin O'Reilly.

14. One in each earlobe.  And even then, I never wear earrings.

15. Hmm.  For some reason, I have always thought guys with long hair were attractive.  A knowledge and appreciation of the bygone eras doesn't hurt either.

16. Obsession with sports, Disney, or TV shows, to the point where that's all he can talk about.  No, thank you.  Life is too short.

17.  Happy endings are best, every time.  They may not figure into my own writing very often, but they're awful nice just the same.

18. Computer, because it can also become a television when necessary.

19. Calvin Klein Euphoria is pretty nice, I suppose.

20.  About three weeks ago, watching a foreign film called Life is Beautiful.  It will rip your heart out, but oh, what a masterpiece.

21.  I do cook, but that doesn't mean I can.  That's for you to decide.

22.  I'm fluent in over six million forms of communication, including Bocce and the binary language of vaporators.

23. Not really.

24. Seinfeld and Futurama all the way.

25. Okay, here's a question.  Would you rather live in a world where you served solely as a functioning cog in the machine of an oppressive, thought-controlling society, and be one with the rest of your world- or would you rather be aware of the tyranny, speak out against it, and then be persecuted by everyone for what you know to be right?

If that sounds very Matrix-y, that's because it is- but it's one of my favorite concepts to ponder.

If you don't like that question, here's these: 1) Who do you think Rudy is at this point, and 2) how violently should we end Julia's existence?

There, that should do it.  Now it's your turn!
