Just so you know, the next paragraph or two are going to be basically a rehash of the brief explanation found in the description defending this book's existence.  This intro is not because I love to repeat myself and hammer obvious points home (well... not ONLY because, that is), I simply want to go a little more in detail. So!  If you will permit me:

For those of you who have already read my story In the Year of the Cat, you know well how many afterthought one shots exist related to the book itself.  Mysterious Ways, Closing Time, Saturday Night Live Fever, and of course, the infamous Sexy Deleted Scenes (not to mention the whole other sequel, which has very rapidly become something of a monster all by itself). 

I was scrolling through the published story list the other day, and I realized the clutter the individual one shots create.  It just seemed to make more sense, and would appear that much more organized, to create a single book dedicated to those whims which grab me in the middle of the night and whisper, whisper, whisper until I get up, open the computer, and with clumsy fingers and bleary eyes write them down and post them.

Here's the catch: I also need your help.

I am always on the prowl for ideas, good ideas- and what I have found is, more often than not, the best ideas come from you guys, the readers.  Your theories, your interpretations, your concepts, are some of the chief driving forces that keep the "Year of the Cat" series alive.  Everything starts with an idea- and I'd love to hear yours.

But I do want to stress that these one shots do not have to be about Queen- or my main fanfiction venture.  They can be about anything classic rock, anything fantasy, anything fiction- anything, really.  Even screenplays, I mean, I'm open to everything.

DISCLAIMER: I would ask, though, that you leave mpreg stories to the experts, I respectfully must say that I would not know where to start with such a subject, and frankly, I do not wish to try.  As well, I reserve the right to choose which submitted concepts I will write about; I cannot guarantee that the idea you submit will automatically be chosen.  It is nothing personal; I just have too much else going on in life (and with the main story) to do everything.  But I will do what I can- and I will do my best. ;)

As to the concepts themselves, and how they are submitted: please submit them via comments or DM me, the same goes for any questions you may have.

This is a very work in progress thing, this request system.  I am trying it out, seeing how I like it.  Whether it takes off or not, however, I still want to thank you guys for all your support and your feedback, I cannot express to you enough how much it means to me! ;)
