"What's the distance to the target?" Daddy asked

"Five metres. I'm ready anytime soon." I replied

"So am I." Sasuke said

"Me too." Naruto informed.

"Go!" Daddy yelled

CHAAAAAAA!!!

"Gotcha!" Naruto shouted

"Nyaaaa~" The cat meowed.

"Good,lost pet named Tora,search mission complete!" Daddy said.

We head to the Hokage Tower with the cat. When we entered his room, a big fat lady came and squeezed Tora tight. No wonder Tora left.. I thought. Before she leave, she handed some money and went off.

"Okay, there are other D-rank missions. Which one would you like?" Hokage jii-sama asked.

"I DON'T WANT THOSE LAME MISSIONS! WHEN ARE WE GOING TO A REAL MISSION?? I'M A NINJA! BELIEVE IT!" Naruto yelled. I punched his head and said,"Treat Hokage jii-sama with respect!"

"Kakashi, is it alright if I send your team to a C-rank mission?"

"What? You can't Hokage-sama! They are just newly passed Genins!" Iruka sensei exclaimed.

"Believe them Iruka. If they want it so badly. You are their student, you should know what they are capable of, especially under Kakashi's care."

"Yes, Hokage-sama." He obliged.

"So what's your answer, Kakashi?"

"I believe they can manage it." When daddy said this, Naruto and my eyes gleamed with joy.

"Thanks daddy!!" I ran to him and hugged him with a big smile.

"YEA!!! You are the BEST, Kakashi sensei!! BELIEVE IT!!"

"Alright then. Your next mission is to accompany a bridge builder back to his home in the village Hidden in the Mist." Hokage jii-sama looked at me when he mentioned my origin village. I nodded to reassure him that I will be okay. Daddy just pat my head and put a reassuring arm around my shoulder. "Come in, Tazuna."

An old drunk man walked in which I assume is the bridge builder, Tazuna.

"So 3 kids will be guarding me back home? An emo kid, a girl and an idiot." Sasuke glared at him and I said,"Don't judge people too quickly Tazuna-san." and shot him my evil smile. He shivered a little.

"Hahah an idiot! Hey...Sasuke is the emo kid, Sakura is the girl..so which means I'm..WHY YOU-" I punched his head..AGAIN.

"Don't worry, Tazuna-san. These kids are capable, believe me." Daddy assured him.

"Just make sure my life is safe."

"Sure thing Tazuna-san."

"Alright, pack up and you will leave in an hour. Dismissed." Hokage jii-sama said.

All of is head home and packed our stuff. Daddy waited for me to pack my medical kit and we transported to the main gate.

When all of us arrived,we immediately begin our journey to the village Hidden in the Mist.

While we walk, I was walking behind caught up in my own thoughts. Will I see Tou-san and Haku again? What will I do when I see them? How should I react? Is aniki back? Will I see him? No..he is in the Akatsuki..he won't be back. What if..we bumped in to him? While I was in my own world, daddy slowed down and walked beside me. We talked softly, so the others couldn't hear us.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah." I plastered a smile.

I pat my head reassuringly and embraced me with the same hand. Then he kissed my forehead.

"Don't worry too much, okay? I'm here." He ruffles my hair and smiled. I just nodded at him with a bright smile. He walked in front again near Tazuna.

On our way, I saw a puddle on the ground. How can there be a puddle when it haven't rain for days? That is when I got suspicious. I looked at daddy and it seems he used a substitution jutsu, so he is hiding somewhere. I put my guards up and prepared for an attack.

In a few seconds, two person attacked us starting with daddy. Luckily he was just a fake. Sasuke and I fought the two ninjas.

"Naruto, guard Tazuna!" I yelled

"Hai!" He snapped out of his shock and ran in front of Tazuna with a kunai in his hand.

I punched my enemy on the face and he was slammed to a tree. Sasuke kicked his opponent to the same tree and I tied them up with my chakra strings. Then daddy appeared and said we did a good job. He headed to the two ninjas which seem like Chuunins.

"Who sent you and what do you want?" He questioned.

"G-Gatou..he wants to assassinate the bridge builder."

Daddy looked at Tazuna-san and said,"We need to talk." He just look guilty and nodded. We left the two ninjas there and walked to another place.

"Tazuna-san, mind telling us the story?" Daddy asked.

"Very well. You deserve to know." Tazuna-san looked at us and begin,"Gatou wants me to be dead because I insist on building the bridge. You see the bridge greatly effects his business, so he must discontinue the work of the bridge which I refuse to give up. The bridge will bring fortune to our village and I will sacrifice my life to bring prosperity to our village." We looked at him with disbelief. Who knew an old drunk man like him is so heroic.

"Tazuna-san, you must understand this is no longer a C-rank mission. This is a dangerous mission which is very risky to send out newly passed Genins. We have to head back and request for higher rank ninjas to accomplish this mission."

"I understa-" Tazuna-san was cut off by Naruto. "No, Kakashi sensei! We are not heading back! I swear on this pain on my hand, I will NOT lose to Sasuke and I'll protect him. We will continue this mission!" Naruto said as he stabbed his hand with his kunai. Sasuke smirked.

"That is very..heroic of you, Naruto..but you will die of blood loss if your blood keep flowing like that." Daddy said and the shock on Naruto's face is priceless!!

"W-What..I..I c-can't die yet!!! Arghhh!!!" Naruto panicked and I just grabbed his hand. I checked his hand and I was shocked. His wound is already healing..perhaps this is the Nine Tailed Beast's power. I just wrapped his hand with the bandage I brought.

I stood and asked,"Daddy, are we continuing this mission?"

Daddy was silent and thought. Although I'm worried, I believe they can do it. With Sakura's inheritance and my trainings, she is skilled. She can almost be a Jounin by the strength and intelligence she have now. Sasuke, he can easily pass his Chuunin test. Naruto..his tailed beast will protect him. But Sakura..if she sees him..what will she do? She still cries when she thinks about him. Can she handle it? She has to face him anyway. He is her biological father after all. "Alright, weare continuing this mission. Just be careful and protect Tazuna."

Naruto jumped of joy and I just smiled. Sasuke just smirked as usual. We continued walked and crossed the river by a boat.

"Whooooooaaaahhh, the bridge is HUGE!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Shhhhh!!! Please stay quiet." The guy warned. Naruto pouted and glared at the guy. I giggled softly while Sasuke looked at me. "Like what you are seeing?" I giggled and he turned away, then blushed. Now it's daddy's turn to blush. Aww..everyone is so cute!! I squealed in my thoughts.

When we got down from our boat, Tazuna-san said,"We will head to my house and you will stay there as my appreciation."

"Thank you Tazuna-san." I thanked.

We are finally here. My home. I thought. While we walked, I thought I felt four presence and three of them are familiar. I thought I was just imagining things, but I took precautions anyway.

Suddenly, Naruto three a kunai in to a bush. A white rabbit hopped out from the bush.

"Gahh!!! I'm so sorry, white rabbit!!"

Wait..white rabbit?? It isn't winter here yet!! Daddy and I exchanged glances quickly.

"DUCK!!!" Daddy and I shouted as a blade slashed above out heads. Th-that blade.. I watched in horror. And the man standing on the handle of the blade was someone I was not prepared to meet.
