"Hey,Pinkie!" A voice called.

I turned and saw Sai. My eyebrows twitched upon hearing that ridiculous nickname.

"Stop calling me pinkie!" I growled and tempted to punch him. He caught my punch and gave me a fake smile.

"My book says to call people nicknames,so you will be closer to each other" He said innocently while showing me a book.

I face palmed and shrugged.

"Whatever... Let's go" I said and hopped on the branches.

Sai followed behind me. Our journey was in a comfortable silence.

After a very long time,Suna is finally sight. We ran faster and I saw Gaara welcoming us. I smiled and threw myself on him.

"Gaaraaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

He caught me and spun me around. He lowered me down on the floor and hugged me.

"I missed you,Sakura"

"I missed you too,Gaara"

I pulled away and blushed,remembering Sai was there. I turned to him and scratched the back of my head sheepishly.

"Ehehe.. Sorry,Sai.. This is Gaara. Gaara,this is Sai,my teammate. A replacement of Sasuke" I introduced.

"Nice to meet you,red head" He smiled his usual fake smiled.

"SAI! Drop the ridiculous nick names!" I growled.

"Hn.." Gaara answered. "I'll bring you to the Kazekage tower" He said.

"Alright,thank you" I smiled.

On our way to the Kazekage tower,the girls around stared at Gaara in awe. Two girls ran towards him. I recognised them. They were his fangirls and I saw them while Chiyo Baa-san and I were helping him.

"Gaara-kun!!" They squealed. I twitched in annoyance. I huffed my cheeks and looked away.

Sai looked at me and giggled. I glared at him. Wait.. He..giggled?? I widened my eyes and stared at him. He looked at me curiously. Before I can speak,an arm slid around my waist. I yelped and looked at the person.

"Gaara! You scared me!" I pouted.

He chuckled and gave me a peck on the lips. I blushed. His fangirls were glaring at me.

"Come on" He said and pulled me by the waist.

We arrived at the Kazekage tower. He was also the one who betrayed our village during the Chunnin exams. But he was forgiven because he was manipulated by Orochimaru. He stared at Gaara's arm around my waist and smirked.

"Ahh.. I see now why you insisted to welcome them. Good choice,Gaara" The Kazekage said. I blushed.

The Kazekage was cold to Gaara when he was young,treating him cold. But it changed ever since he lost Gaara to the Akatsuki. Gaara's emotions weren't stable,but he overcame it when he stayed in Konoha for two years. He opened up more and showed little by little of his emotions.

"I know,Otou-sama. I want to properly introduce her to you. She is Sakura Hatake,adopted daughter of the Sharingan Kakashi who is the son of the White Fang. She was the first friend I made when we were little. The owner of this necklace" He said and showed his necklace.

"She was the one who fearlessly faced me when I was transforming to Shukaku. She controlled me and managed to make Shukaku to be quiet inside me. She is one of the ninjas from Konoha to save me and I love her with all my heart." He said proudly. I blushed furiously and smiled. I blinked the tears formed in my eyes away.

"Nice to meet you,Kazekage-sama" I bowed. "This is Sai,my bodyguard for this mission"

"Why would you need a bodyguard?" He asked.

"Orochimaru is believed to be after me after our showdown during the Chunnin exams" I answered.

"I see.. Do you mind if I ask who is your biological family and what happened?" He asked.

"I don't mind" I smiled. "My mother is Mebuki Momochi who left for a man named Kizashi Haruno. My father is Zabuza Momochi,known as the Demon of the Mist. I have an elder brother named Kisame Momochi. He is known as the Monster of the Mist and the Tailless Tailed Beast. He is now in the Akatsuki and changed his name to Kisame Hoshigaki. Both of them were apart of the Seven Swordsmen." I paused for awhile.

"My brother left when I was young to join the Akatsuki,I assume. Which left my father and I. After some time,we came across a boy named Haku. Not long after that,he grew fond of him and shunned me. One day,he left me alone and I was kidnapped by rogue ninjas. Luckily,Kakashi was there and he saved me. But it was all planned out. Zabuza didn't want me to be with him because he is a criminal,so he waited for a ninja to Konoha to pay a visit so he would keep me" I answered with a sad smile.

"I see.. Well,glad that you are here. And I'm happy to have you as my daughter-in-law" He winked at us. Gaara and I blushed. "Anyways,may I ask you to train the nurses and medical ninjas?"

"Yes,gladly. When do I start?" I smiled.

"Tomorrow morning. Gaara will show you the way. For today,I'm sure you are tired of travelling. You may have some rest and take a look around"

"Hai,Kazekage-sama." I bowed.

"Dismissed" He said we left his room.

"I'll bring both of you to your inn" Gaara said.

"Thank you" I grinned.

"Want to go on a date,tonight?" He asked.

"Sure!" I beamed. I looked around to look for Sai. Where is he?

"I'll be in the shadows looking over you,pinkie" A voice said.

"Stop calling me pinkie!" I pouted. Hmph!

Gaara chuckled and I glared at him. He pulled me and kissed my lips. I blushed and pushed him away.

"S-Sai is looking" I blushed crimson.

"I'm sure he would mind.." He smirked.

"What did I miss? Think I'm not here." Sai's voice said.

I'm sure he faked it. I sighed and smiled at Gaara. I pulled him for a soft and gentle kiss.
