(Pride Rock) Third Persons POV

Mufasa arrived back at the den after chasing off the hyenas with Aura. He goes straight to Sarabi and nudges her. Growling happily. "Everything ok?" she asks.

"Just hyenas causing trouble, they are gone now" he assures her. "Where are the cubs?" he asks.

"Off to the watering hole with Zazu" Sarabi tells him.

"Why don't we go join them? I'm a bit thirsty after chasing off those hyenas" Mufasa states. Sarabi agrees and they set out for the watering hole together.

(Watering Hole) Sakura's POV

I lost Simba, Zazu, and Nala in the crowd. The watering hole is packed. Now I am all alone and begin to cry. Where are the others? Why did they leave me all alone? "I beg your pardon, madam, but...get...off!" I hear Zazu shout. I sniffle and follow the sound to see a rhino. "Simba! Nala! Sakura!" I hear Zazu shout from under the rhino.

I approach it slowly, wary. "Excuse me, can you please move?" I ask her shyly.

"What a well mannered cub" she says smiling and gets up. Revealing Zazu. "Oh, sorry Mr Zazu" she says.

"Quite alright madam" he says. The rhino leaves. He looks around and frowns. "Sakura where are Simba and Nala?" he asks me.

"I don't know, I lost them in the crowd" I sniffle.

"Return to Pride Rock, I must find them" he states and takes off before I can protest. I sit on my hindquarters and sniffle trying not to cry. How am I supposed to return home? I have only been to the watering hole twice before and I don't know the way back.

"Mummy! Daddy!" I begin to cry. I've never been left alone before. Even when Mummy went hunting daddy or one of my aunts was always there to watch me until she returned.

"Sakura!" mum and dad shout as they appear from the grass. They race over to me. "Are you hurt baby?" mum asks as I cry into daddy's mane.

"Where is your brother and Nala?" daddy asks me.

"I no know, we were coming to the watering hole with Zazu and we lost sight of them" I explain.

"Where is Zazu?" mummy demands.

"He went after them, told me to go home. But I don't know the way" I cry.

"Hush baby, you're safe now" mummy assures me. "Though I will be having words with Zazu and Simba for leaving you alone" she states.

"I'm going after them" daddy states. "Sakura, which way did Zazu go?" he asks me.

"That way" I say pointing north.

"Return to the den with Sakura. I will bring our son and Nala home" daddy assures mummy.

"Be careful" she tells him and nuzzles him. Before he ran off. "Are you hurt?" she asks me again.

"No, just scared" I say as I lean into her.

"Come on, we must get back and I need to tell Sarafina about Nala disappearing" she states.

"Mummy, will Simba and Nala be in trouble?" I ask her.

"Yes, they broke rules and left you all alone. Anything could have happened to you Sakura. It was lucky your father and I decided to come join you all here" she states. "I'll also be having words with Zazu, honestly he forgets how young you are" she grumbles.

Just then we hear a twig snap and mum growls lowly and stands over me protectively. Suddenly a cub Nala and Simba's age appears from the grass. She skids to a stop when she sees us. "Tama!" we hear a voice shout. Suddenly four adult lionesses I've never seen before appear with three carrying young cubs.

"Zira" mum says relaxing slightly. "You've been gone a while" she states.

"Ah Sarabi, how wonderful to see you again" Zira says with a smile. "Who's the brat?" she asks. Mum snarls at her.

"My daughter" she snarls.

"I thought you had a son, what was his name?" Zira muses as she paces in front of us. As the other three lionesses put the young cubs down in a pail. "Simba, wasn't it?" she asks.

"Yes, he is with his father. The king" mum tells her.

"Ah Mufasa, still king is he? Well who knows how long that'll last" Zira mutters. Mum glares at her. "Tama, I told you not to run off" she snaps at the older cub.

"Sorry Aunt Zira" Tama says sheepishly. "I was thirsty" she states.

"Who are you're friends Zira?" mummy asks her.

"Just some girls I meet on my journey" Zira tells her smiling. "Beauty-spot, her three young cubs. Her sister Lola, and cousin Holly. Then you meet young Tama" she states. "Poor dear, her mother was killed in a stampede. I have taken her in" she explains.

"What's your name?" Tama asks me. I look up at mum. She nods at me.

"Sakura" I say.

"Awesome name, want to play?" she asks me getting into a play bow.

"I think it best we all return to pride rock" mum states. "It looks like your cubs could use a warm place to sleep" she says giving Beauty-spot a warm smile.

"You are to kind Queen Sarabi" Beauty-spot says bowing her head.

"I shall lead the way" mum states and picks me up. She heads home with the others following us. Tama walks beside her.

"Any other cubs around?" she asks me.

"My brother Simba and his friend Nala" I tell her. "Though Aunt Dwala and Silver are due to return with cubs soon" I add.

"Awesome" Tama says. As we reach pride rock and head for the den. Once there Beauty-spot starts to feed her cubs. Mum puts me down and heads over to Sarafina.

"Welcome to my home" I tell Tama.

"Sweet, I've never really had a home before. Always traveling" she tells me. "Give me a tour?" she asks.

"Sakura needs to eat young one, she can show you around later" mum tells her as she appears.

"Oh ok" Tama says bowing her head disappointed. Zira calls her over to their group. "I guess I gotta go, see you later Sakura" she tells me and runs over to them.

Tama: a task?

Tama: yes ma'am *bows her head*

Zira: How are your daughters?

Beauty-spot: tired from the journey, but they will all be fine
